Posted: 04 Jun 2022 10:03 AM PDT I literally FELL out of my bed at around 1:30 am this morning. 😂 My stupid tablet decided to start playing a tv show I had been watching yesterday at a LOUD volume. The thing is its not supposed to be able to play when it's "locked". (As far as I know?) Woke me up.. and then here's me scrambling and reaching out with my arm desperately trying to grab it to silence it in a half asleep panic. I reached too far and next thing I know I'm rolling out and my blankets drop off the bed and I landed on my hands and knees. 😯 Extra painful when your body has rheumatoid arthritis. LOL I'll now know to leave the volume all the way down, just incase it decides to do it again. [link] [comments] | ||
| 1 month update after factory resetting my s22 ULTRA Posted: 04 Jun 2022 05:51 PM PDT I posted a thread on here about a month ago about how i was sooo done with my S22 ultra. Really low SOT with only 3.5hrs, super laggy/jittery when swiping through apps and casual scrolling through socials. Ultra low benchmark scores. I'm here to say that my 22 ULTRA is now a BEAST!! If you go on antutu and look at the rankings you will see #7 being the s22u that is my score!! I haven't experienced any lag at all since factory resetting my phone and SOT is now an average of 5hrs! I can even go 10hrs of SOT when power saver is turned on, im currently at 8hrs SOT with 25% remaining. If you're reading this and are having trouble with your flagship as well or any of the other then I strongly suggest a simple factory reset. My theory is that some phones have trouble actually flashing huge quality of life updates onto the device. Hope you find this useful [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 04 Jun 2022 03:55 PM PDT So far to my knowledge there have been two to three major updates that have been released just throughout the month of May for the Samsung s22 ultra one for the camera I believe and then two operating system updates not including the security patch, I have an s22 ultra it's unlocked and it was purchased from the Samsung experience store. My provider is telus, and I am becoming really aggravated with the lack of updates why have I not received a single one of these three updates primarily the two OS updates that happened in may? We are now in June and I haven't received a single update for the month of May does anyone else have any information particularly other Canadian users? Have any of you received any updates? | Posted: 04 Jun 2022 02:51 PM PDT hello. okay so i have a samsung phone and i use a VPN. im trying to cast wirelessly to my tv and it works perfectly fine, unless my vpn is on. i do use split tunneling so my things like hulu and whatever can cast freely without being disrupted by the vpn. infact ive been able to fix every issue ive ever had because of my vpn with the split tunneling and just turning it off for things that it wont work with. now my issue. im trying to cast wirelessly with dex to my tv. it works perfect if my vpn is off. if i turn it on it gives me connection errors. I cannon for the life of me figure out what app i need to turn off vpn with in split tunneling to allow my phone to cast dex to it. does anyone know what app it is? ive tried all the smart things apps, anything that looks even remotely close to something that could be the culprit and i have made my way through about 40% of the items and have not found the one that works to allow dex by switching it off. when i look online its like im asking people at a car repair shop how to build a medieval castle. nothing is even remotely what im trying to figure out. im just looking for what app is responsible for allowing dex to cast wirelessly. its definitely not any of the different dex system apps. or smart things. or bixby. idk. hopefully the aficionado comes to save the day. cheers! | Samsung nightmare opting out of binding arbitration Posted: 03 Jun 2022 01:07 PM PDT So I posted earlier about Samsung not honoring their warranty to fix my Flip3 where the screen broke at the crease. At this point I want to seek litigation, however as per warranty terms: "All disputes with Samsung... shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration " " you may opt out by calling 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) " I have been on the phone over 100 minutes being passed between departments with each representative telling me their department does not do the binding arbitration opt out. I am getting no where. Has anyone successfully opted out of arbitration? At this point I feel this is purposeful obstruction done in bad faith. [link] [comments] | ||

I'm planning on shooting RAW and I know the files can get pretty big in size. I'd be shooting RAW for scenic and family photos for the most part and I'm looking for a cloud storage service that offers quite a bit of storage capacity and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I was experimenting with the smart things app and my galaxy buds, then I noticed that my A51 is on the smart things app and tried tracking it's location. It showed me the location and I was curious why it updated the location because my mom only uses it for it's camera. It doesn't have a sim on it and she said that she didn't turned on the wifi on it. Do you guys have an idea onto why the phone can still show it's location in the smart things app even though the phone didn't connect to the internet? [link] [comments] | ||

I've been using it for a couple of days and the experience isn't great (slow, sometimes the Google assistant activates when I lightly touch the home button). I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (6GB RAM, 128 ROM and overall swifter), it's a bit less crappy and works well enough for what I do. The Samsung camera is the only big advantage but I don't think it's enough to switch. Should I sell it and save for a better one? Btw. The person got it for full price + an extra for included earphones, that makes me feel really bad. [link] [comments] | ||

I chose the 128gb model because I won't be storing much videos on it and I don't use too many apps. I didn't know the 128gb model comes with 8gb of ram instead of 12. Would I notice a difference from the 12gb ram models? I won't be doing any extremely heavy use but I want to make sure it's just as snappy as the models with 12gb ram. It's too late to cancel my order now but I could always return it as t a physical store before I open the box. [link] [comments] |
