| Why doesn't Samsung have their apps available on Chromebooks? Posted: 31 Jan 2022 07:00 PM PST Especially on their own Samsung Chromebooks. Chromebooks run android apps now so why not either add their apps to the playstore (if they can) or include their own store on chromebooks. I would love to be able to sync Samsung Notes to a chromebook. Samsung Calendar as well. I don't want to continue to use Keep for notes since SNotes is much better. The fact that i can sync Keep across devices is the only thing holding me back. And i'm sure Samsung would do a much better job with texting and calling thru their apps on a chromebook, than what Google is doing. What do you think? Is this something we could see in the future, Samsung store/apps on Chromebooks. [link] [comments] |

| PSA: Samsung Promos - Double check after ordering! Posted: 31 Jan 2022 04:47 PM PST Saw a post on /r/Zfold3 recently where someone got the runaround with Samsung on the promotions. They only received buds but did not receive the other items and Samsung support basically told him "Too bad". This sparked worry from my samsung.com order. I ordered Nov 26, 2021, during the BF promotion of a free pen + free 2 yr Care+. Guess what... No such record on their side I received the pen though... So the promotion should have been applied... If there was an option to add it to the cart, I am certain I did it. It did not appear in the invoice, and I did not think it was an issue because its an intangible item. I assumed its just part of the phone. Hope Samsung support pulls through with the escalation... But PSA for everyone until then. Don't assume your promotional Care+ was activated, I would have never known until I used Care+ (cue rage). Luckily someone else posted about a similar issue and I went to check before I needed to ever use Care+. [link] [comments] |

If I'm in a group chat with people , I have to go click one every single message and download it. Which can be quite annoying at times. Has anyone else had this issue? Or does anyone know a fix? In fact, the app is polling the position at regular intervals, clearly wasting the battery. Have you noticed the same behaviour? Can the SmartTag keep its effectiveness without using the "always" location permission? [link] [comments] |
