| Posted: 03 Feb 2022 10:04 AM PST Have a few questions about family link, or just managing a child's device in general. I like how I can lock their phone. Usually will come downstairs to eat or whatever else they're forgetting to do. Is there a widget that can toggle this more easily? I have 2 accounts and would prefer to not have to navigate menus so much. Is there an elegant solution to lock apps instead of the whole phone? A white list? At the end of the day, I'd like to block all games and YouTube, but leave messenger open so my girls can message their mom. Right now we're working off an honor system... [link] [comments] |
| OBB Files in Android 12 for older game? Posted: 03 Feb 2022 09:13 AM PST I just moved from a Pixel 2 to a (non-rooted) Pixel 6, and there are a couple of older games that did not transfer over and are not available in the app store anymore. When I launch them on my new phone, it attempts to download assets from websites that no longer exist. I was able to export the apps from my old phone to an XAPK which contains the data which used to be stored in the OBB folder. Doing research it seems as though the OBB folder is not user-accessible anymore, so I get permission errors when attempting to copy the data over. Is there any way for me to get these apps working or am i SOL? [link] [comments] |

Problem is, that it doesnt solve that calls have just like 5 volume steps, which is just horrible. How could I change that? Phone volume is somehow seperate from the normal volume controls.
