Posted: 03 Jan 2022 10:57 AM PST I want to have a discussion on this subject. Is there an actual perk to having a phone specific to your carrier or is it just a marketing gimmick? I use an s20 5g from Verizon and I feel 5g is not available around me or isn't really all that different from 4g. Yet Verizon replaced my 4gigs of RAM for a 5g antenna. I'm no gamer but YouTube, streaming services and social media all load and lag the same 5 years ago. [link] [comments]
Can you display your phone screen on your computer, with the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G phone? Posted: 03 Jan 2022 11:50 AM PST I'm not sure if you can do this with this phone and wanted to make sure. [link] [comments]

What cases are compatible with the white stone dome tempered glass? Posted: 03 Jan 2022 04:42 AM PST I have upgraded to a s21 ultra 5g from a s9+ and I have always tried to apply this screen protector but it was never compatible with the otterbox pro defender on my s9+. Is it compatible with the s21 ultra 5g with the otterbox defender pro? [link] [comments]

How good are recent high-end Samsung phones after 1 or 2 years? Posted: 02 Jan 2022 09:19 AM PST To anyone who owns an S20 or S21 Ultra, do your phones still function as quickly and smoothly as they did when you first purchased them? Been considering the possibility of getting an S21 Ultra, but I remain hesitant as my Exynos S9+ had significantly slowed down after only about a year and a half of usage. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Jan 2022 06:01 AM PST This may be an unpopular opinion but the design of the s22 ultra looks incredibly awful. Samsung somehow managed to take the gorgeous Design of the s21 and make it ugly and i don't know why... [link] [comments]
Initial thoughts on the z flip 3 Posted: 02 Jan 2022 03:44 PM PST I got a z flip 3 for christmas and here are my initial thoughts: I'll start off by saying I love it. It's compact when folded, the cover screen is very useful and everyone loves seeing it fold. One of my concerns is the battery life. It has a 3,300 mAh battery, smaller than my s9+. I am yet to test this in a full days work however it has held up fine so far. I suspect that when I use it outside of home it will not last so long. It is also slow to charge which is probably just the chargers fault. The only thing that I truly dislike is the aspect ratio. Most apps do not work properly for it. For example instagram reels are cropped on the side on this phone so I can't read the text on the screen properly. It also adds black bars on the side when you send people snaps. Overall I love the phone and I am willing to overlook it's annoying quirks because I love it. If you want a folding phone this is great, if you don't really care that it folds go for the s21 all the way (I have used this too as my brother has an s21 ultra) [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Jan 2022 01:14 AM PST I've seen a few pictures floating around for this special edition. Does anyone know what the price of this model specifically? As I do like the color of it. [link] [comments]

Is it just me, or do you receive android updates later than you should? Posted: 02 Jan 2022 08:43 PM PST On December 29th, I woke up to a Samsung security update for my S20. After updating, I notice the update was launched on December 1st, which I found odd. That same day, I noticed news articles claiming Android 12 was rolling out on the S20 line and just wonder if it's not fully released yet on all the S20 devices or if my phone just seems to get updates 29 days or so after they initially roll out. For more specifics, my phone is unlocked but I do use EE as my carrier of choice. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Jan 2022 12:58 PM PST Was about to get an S21 because I cracked my Note 10 and it's doing weird stuff but it still works. S21 ultra is cool but too big for me - was wondering if I should get the S21 or is the wait really worth it to get the S22. March seems so far away! Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Is Samsung building up to an eco system like Apple? Posted: 02 Jan 2022 06:52 PM PST if anyone could do it, it's samsung So far there's the smartag / galaxy devices Anything else? Would be interesting to see if they do it without making their own OS [link] [comments]
debating on s21 ultra or s22/s22+ Posted: 02 Jan 2022 02:15 PM PST im in the market for a new phone since my s9+ broke last year and ive since downgraded to an s7 edge. rumors say that the s22 lineup will come in feb, which would also mean the s21 line will definitely get discounted. my question is, assuming both would be similarly priced and based on what we know on paper about the s22 lineup so far, should i go for an s22+ or an s21 ultra? the reason i wont get an s22 ultra is because i dont really use the stylus even though i love the note's boxy design, and also the price, new ultras are just too expensive for me. S22 Ultra and Snapdragon/Exynos? Posted: 02 Jan 2022 05:49 PM PST Hey guys, I'm in for a new phone, haven't upgraded at all since my Huawei Mate 20X but it's starting to show signs of dying. At first, I wanted to go for the Note 20 Ultra Snapdragon, but decided to wait for the S22 Ultra. But after seeing some tests about the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, I was wondering if it'll be more problematic than the new Exynos? I heard they did something with AMD so could it have better performances? I have mixed feeling about the 8 Gen 1, I don't know if the problem is the chipset or if it's the cooling system. Anyways, I'm mostly a power user, I plan on using my phone to play heavy games like Genshin and use heavy emulators. What do you guys think? With the little info we currently have, can the Exynos potentially be better than the Snapdragon? (I read a lot about how Exynos sucked on the Note 20) [link] [comments]
What's y'all experience with Google Phone app on Samsung phones? Posted: 02 Jan 2022 10:57 AM PST Currently using the z flip 3. I recalled momma having the app on her S21 but calls were missed or sometimes muffled. Y'all? This isn't tech support, just asking for y'all experience 😁 [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Jan 2022 07:15 PM PST I've been using my S9 since 2018 and I'm considering getting a new phone. I'm not sure which version of the s21 or s22 to get. I'm currently looking at the s22 plus but will there be much of a difference between it and previous versions like the s21, s21 FE, s21 ultra, and the s21 plus? [link] [comments]
REPOST- Since when I last posted this was in the middle of the night with not a lot of people on Posted: 02 Jan 2022 03:08 PM PST I have Galaxy devices that I'd like to have backed up from top to bottom somewhere other than a thumb drive using Smart Switch I know Samsung uses Google now for backups but I had go do a reset on my Galaxy tablet and I backed it up and restored it from a Google backup and a lot of the settings weren't replaced and the home screen wasn't either. Is there a way to backup everything? Even if it's a 3rd party app and something I have to pay for???? [link] [comments] |
