I'm a mexican Android user and I want to know how to change the way the autopredict conjugate some verbs. How?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 12:17 AM PST

Soy algo nuevo.

    OnePlus spotify problems

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 11:51 PM PST

Hey there, I updated my OnePlus 9 pro yesterday to the new oxygen os 12. After the update, I noticed some changes how my phone handles Spotify. The app itself runs as good as always. But the function that changed my Lockscreen background to the album cover of the music I'm playing is gone and I really liked that. Spotify has all the permissions it needs so I can't see where it's coming from. In addition to that, on my lock screen Spotify is now a separate notification as a media player and not included in the area where it shows time and date. Before the update I could swipe the time to the left to get my Spotify controls. This feature is also gone. And at last, the Spotify player was fixated before the update. In the options it is marked as fixated, but if I swipe it away the player is gone unless I restart the Spotify app. It only shows if I draw my notification bar down while my phone is on Lockscreen. There it is fixated but not if I unlock my phone. Has anyone faced the same issues and can tell me how I get these features back? I liked how with the old update Spotify was directly included into my phone. Now it feels like a bad included app. Thanks in Advance

Edit: The player is fixated, but only if I draw down my top bar completely, Wich I still find annoying

Disable specific quick actions menu for apps

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 10:29 PM PST

You know when you Hold on any icons and it opens a small menu of actions like, App info, Uninstall and Add to home screen? But it also has that individual actions like for Whatsapp it'll show some on the contacts we were chatting with recently or for Google it'll show things like Search etc. I think there's some way to disable those app specific actions. I just wanna see Uninstall and App info stuff in all apps. Not all these actions.

    Bluetooth Keyboard

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 01:34 AM PST

    Hello,

i would like to use my phone as a system in reserve in case my laptop doesnt work anymore (so i am still able to work in home office).

The plan: USB 3 to hdmi output => display of my choice (or even cast screen to a chromecast or directly to tv)

Keyboard and Mouse to phone. My problem: which Mouse+KB does work WITHOUT the need for an external USB dongle / OTG adapter? i got several devices which claim to be "bluetooth", not a single one works directly with bluetooth in my phone. i dont want to buy a new and not working Mouse+KB. So my question is: how to savely identify devices which work with my phones BT directly ?

Force Dark Mode on ESPN App

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 01:26 AM PST

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G & I use force dark mode. It used to work and my ESPN app would be in dark mode but after I did the recent update a week or so ago now it won't work and it's just plain white now. It's so bright after I used dark mode for a year. Anyone know how to fix it?

Side bar no longer contains app names after upgrade to Android 12. How can I fix this?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 12:06 AM PST

Not sure what it's actually called, but the side bar (where you can have your favorite apps saved for quick access) no longer has the name of the apps under them, just the picture.

This all happened right after my regretful update from Android 11 to Android 12 for my Galaxy S20+.

Samsung and UPS are giving me two different dates for my Phone to be delivered. Which date is the better option?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 04:33 PM PST

I know this isn't the most correct place to ask this but other subreddits won't let me ask the question so I'm trying it here

Samsung is telling me my package will be delivered on Friday, UPS tracking is telling me Monday

Which date is the more secure date? I need to take off from work to receive my package so it doesn't get stolen or stuck in a loop of "we'll try again tomorrow"

They are giving me conflicting dates. Any one know which one to go with?

    Should I upgrade?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 10:11 PM PST

Have had a galaxy s10 since launch. Great phone but I've been having issues. I've noticed I have to charge my phone at least twice a day. AccuBattery says 69% health but it also keeps telling me task killer is messing with it, so I'm assuming it's worse. Normally I wouldn't mind just replacing the battery but I'm also having screen issues. The lower half of the left side of the screen has a small crack that prevents me from using parts of the left keyboard.

Because of the cost of replacing the screen and battery, I figured upgrading might be a smarter choice. I was leaning towards the pixel 6 pro. Worth the upgrade or should I repair the phone, or wait until the end of the year in expectation of the next pixel?

    No Game Audio

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 10:02 PM PST

I'm not sure if this flaired correctly, but anyway, I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S10. For the past few days, I've been needing to plug something into my headphone jack and unplug it for game audio to work. It's only game audio, videos, music, ads, whatever all have audio just fine with extra steps.

Additionally, it's every game. I've even installed a few new ones just to test. Weirdly, at least in my opinion, the ads some games load still have audio, so I'm really not sure what could be causing it. I check my volume settings, but there doesn't seem to be anything there either, any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

OnePlus 9 Pro & annoying (minor) visual problems after Android 12 update

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 09:49 PM PST

So far my problems are minor and only visual but they drive me nuts.

I updated to Android 12 yesterday. So far it seems I can't change app icons individually anymore. I can load and install icon packs as usual but can't change icons individually like I did before. For some reason my camera icon for example doesn't want to change AT ALL and I don't have the ability to edit it separately from the home screen. Have they removed the ability or is this not supposed to happen?

Also I'm not able to hide the battery icon that I hate with passion. I just can't, for the life of me, stand it. Other icons work, they can be switched on and off easily, but that mf'n battery icon won't go away. Nothing happens when I tap the hide/show button.

Clock/weather widget isn't working properly either but I'm too annoyed by these other things to even start with that.

So after this pointless rant, my question was if this is something others are facing too? Am I wasting my time waiting for them to get fixed?

    Disabling Messages on Old Phone

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 08:30 PM PST

My old LG phone broke, and I'm unable to access it. Transferred my number to a new phone, but am not getting messages or calls on it. I've read that I have to disable Messages by going in my old phone and disabling RSC. But, like I said, I can't access it. Is there any way to do it remotely?

Best android phone for app development

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 01:37 PM PST

I've been developing an android app and was wondering what the best phone is for testing and developing my app.

It uses Bluetooth and needs to connect to external devices, so the emulator doesn't do what I need.

Important things obviously are updates, software support, and coverage.

Any help would be appreciated :) I am UK based

"Use the Google assistant with a headset" notification keeps appearing

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 03:21 PM PST

    https://imgur.com/a/qKJdGa4

This notification constantly appears. If I click the little notification icon next to it, it only gives me the option to "show this notification again in X minutes".

Does anyone know what is up with this and how to get rid of it without disabling other useful notifications?

I got an s20 a week ago and it was at 0 percent I charged it to 30 percent and then used it but now my battery drains pretty fast but like stays at 1 percent for a long time. How can I fix it?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 10:36 AM PST

I tried using it till it reaches 0 and shuts down and then charged it until 100 and then turned it on but I don't think it's working. Will my phone fix that issue by itself or should I try any other remedy to fix it?

Different emojis on different apps using Gboard?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 12:58 PM PST

I'm using Gboard on a Samsung Galaxy S10 and I'm confused why there are two different sets of emojis on the different apps I use.

Gboard screenshot from Discord (and other apps I believe)

    Gboard screenshot from WhatsApp

These are both taken on the same phone (S10) using the Gboard keyboard, is there any reason why the emoji appearance is different on these two apps?

From my knowledge, the Discord one looks like the default Samsung emojis but the WhatsApp one looks like the default Google emojis.

Tmobile Samsung A525G :"Already Copied to clipboard" and "copied to clipboard"

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 04:43 PM PST

Ive posted in an A52 specific sub with ZERO response:Ill try here.

(Tmobile) A new Samsung A52 (recently updated to android 12 One UI 4.0 but was doing the same prior to update).

I am having this issue( item already copied to clipboard) if i copied something, but it also appears if i long press in a text field to PASTE something already on the clipboard> I also don't need reminded ever single time i copy something " Copied to clipboard"

ive done some searching and some users seem to think it is related to KDE connect(on S20/21 devices), but i do not have KDE connect installed that i can find. I do a lot of copy paste and this is really annoying, is there any way to turn off these "reminders"?

SMS text disappears - often as i type them, but sometimes just after i click 'send'

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 03:09 PM PST

I don't know exactly how to explain this. Sometimes when I am typing a message, the text I've already entered - but not yet sent - just vanishes and the text box is empty.

Once or twice, I think this corresponds with right about when I send the message so I think it's sent but when I go back to check, it's not there and the recipients don't get it.

Seems to be a new problem. Android 12. Pixel 3.

    Update that never ends

    Posted: 26 Jan 2022 03:03 PM PST

So I've got the Downloading English (US) Update glitch. I found a a guide to fix it but there's a key problem. Whenever they tell me to go to the Google app and click on "search assistant and voice" in the settings it literally doesn't exist on my phone. I followed a YouTube instructions thinking was doing something wrong, nut no did exactly same things I did. But when he reaches there, he has the "search assistant and voice" where as I don't. Idk why I don't nut this glitch is bugging me and I think it's turbo draining my battery and I'd really like to fix this issue. Here's proof https://imgur.com/1nvkktx
