    Hi, I'm trying to fix my Samsung A8+ (SM-A730F) and have no luck with it so far.

    My phone suddenly freeze for almost 1 hour, then reset automatically and enter download mode and stuck in there until now.
    I've searched for several solutions and ended up trying to install stock firmware.

    Here's the list of thing I've downloaded:
    - Odin3 v3.13.1 (from samsung odin website)
    - Odin3 v3.14.4 (from technastic website)
    - Samsung USB Driver v1.7.48.0
    - Stock firmware A730FXXU3BRK3 (from samfrew website)
    - Stock firmware A730FXXU7CTE1 (from samfrew website)
    - Stock firmware A730FXXU7CUI2 (from samfrew website)
    - TWRP v3.6.0

    Here's what I've tried so far:
    - I try to flash with each of stock firmware I downloaded using both Odin3 software (with and without administrator).
    - I try to flash with all 4 BL, AP, CP, HOME_CSC files together
    - I try to flash with only single file (BL only, AP only, CP only, HOME_CSC only)
    - I try to re-partition with PIT files extracted from CSC files
    - I try to flash TWRP (place it in AP section) without BL, CP, HOME_CSC files

    Every attempt I try so far ended up with log message "Complete(Write) operation failed".
    When I flash with TWRP log show "RQT_CLOSE" and phone displayed a text "Custom binary(RECOVERY) blocked due to remaining installment balance".

    Any ideas, suggestion, or advice about how to solve this problem?

    NOTES:
    - I don't have original cable (currently use welcomm cable)
    - I can't access my setting to know whether my developer and oem are enabled or not
    - Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section

    Unlocking a locked oneplus one, Is there anyway to unlock a OnePlus One device, which hasn't been unlocked since Dec 2016 because of forgotten password, without resetting the phone ? The carrier is Vodafone but the phone no longer contains a sim.

    Controlling/linking/using multiple devices?

    I've got a number of identical android tablets (10+) I'd like to link/sync around the house.

    I'd like to be able to sync music/streaming video around the house, control lighting and other smart devices from any room etc.

    Basically use the multiple tables as input devices to control all the devices in the house. I can dedicate a PC for the backend if need be.

    Has anyone done something like this? What apps and such did you use to accomplish it? How were the results?

    Which one is causinf my phone's UI (User Interface) to crash constantly?

    The phone wouldn't even on at all for up to 30 mins. I got those apps at the same time but I'm suspecting them. When I use my phone's display setting for brightness adjustment, it starts flickering green when it's not on max brightness and that's very straining on the eyes.

    Is there a way to have search/address bar be just above they keyboard?

    Love the big screen, but I don't quite have thumbs like André the giant so reaching the top of the screen isnt very easy and comfortable. Is there a fix to have the seach and address bars just above the keyboard?

    Is it possible to permanently fix adb tcpip port for a phone?

    So, I have a phone with broken display and I use Scrcpy to screen mirror it to my PC. Everytime the phone is restarted I have to manually connect it to my PC via USB cable and configure it with "adb tcpip 5555". Is there a way to permanently set tcpip to 5555 ? (The devices is MRD-LX1F, Android 9) Thank you!

    Having issues remapping d pad of PS4 controller on Android

    I'm trying to run the unofficial Undertale port on my phone, but I need to remap some buttons for it to work. I've got the circle/triangle etc buttons working through Key Mapper, but it can't detect the d pad/analog sticks. The input seems to be being taken directly by android, rather than passing through Key Mapper.

    Just looking for some help, or any other way to remap the d pad/left analog stick.

    How to hide contact images in messaging and contacts apps??

    Im new to Android 11 and this is driving me crazy..

    In the call and messaging apps, it has little circular icons next to every person with their first initial inside. It looks dumb and I know it's a placeholder for pictures but I dont want to put pictures in for every number I have...

    To my amazement, I cant find any way to turn these images off, so that contacts just appear in a text list. And searches are yielding nothing. There must be a way to do this, right??
