    Good f2p jrpgs?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2022 02:12 AM PST

I'm looking for some good jrpgs along the lines of FGO (I heard it's ultimately not that great) / Granblue Fantasy (how is it actually?) / etc.as there are more than I can count and I have no idea which are actually fun.

I'm gonna play with Nox on PC and I don't plan to spend money so as long as the f2p part of the game is fun I don't mind if e.g. later optional content is paid only.

    Requirements:

    • needs to have fun gameplay / combat.

    • no games you can win by just using auto, needs to be engaging or I might as well watch other people play instead

    • good art and if chibi than at least good looking, e.g. Granblue Fantasy looks pretty good during combat but Girls Frontline is way too chibi

    • no tower defense even if it has rpg elements like Arknights, only actual rpgs (turn based / action / srpg / whatever are ok)

Games with jrpg battle system but none of the rest of the jrpg

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 03:19 PM PST

I like jrpg menu based battling, but if I am playing mobile games, I'm not in a situation where I can dedicate prolonged attention to a story. Are there any games which are basically just the classic jrpg battle system? Ideally a harder game, with more in depth strategy to it.

Is there still a Strategy Game where it's not Pay to Win? Or the genre just became a money grabbing machine?

I just played Clash Royale recently, and I just felt like the enemies I fight always has better cards than mine. After deleting it, I went to the review of the game, and a lot of people actually experienced the same way.

Please, I just want to have fun.

Looking for an idle style game

    Posted: 03 Jan 2022 03:25 AM PST

Hey guys, looked a little around this page but didn't find anything that grabbed my eye, so I thought I'd make a post.

Looking for an idle style game, possibly with some RPG aspect to it. Something I could get away as a f2p or even a freemium type game, but definitely no p2w or mandatory adds.

Have played egg Inc and endless frontier for 5 years or so, but looking for something similar but new. Prefer something that's more involved than a text based idler, something I can actually play but still progresses while I'm off line.

I know it sounds somewhat specific, but I thought I'd try my luck anyway. Thanks in advance!

Is something like ROG Phone 5s a good buy?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2022 02:50 AM PST

I'm curious if gaming phone such as ROG Phone 5s or Red Magic 6s is a good buy. I wanna use it mostly for good mobile experience in Genshin Impact. Though we have SD 8 gen1 now, maybe I should just wait for them to release with this chipset instead? But what if they have a good deal with SD888+ instead? Any input is appreciated!

Orc Dungeon, if you are looking for a dice based battle game with levels, guilds.. try this.

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 12:42 PM PST

The active base players is quite low here in Orc Dungeon. I found this game earlier this weeks and it's really simple and fun.

You can upgrade your stats, weapons and armor, jave a compagnon... Every weapons has a set of dice to attack, and your Orc has a pool of dice to throw in each fight.

Anyway, give it a try if you are looking for a battle game based on dice... and join my guild, the Drunken Dorc!

Seriously... i feel alone here hahahah.

My Android doesn't recognize the Shanwan PS3 controller. Only work joystick

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 03:13 PM PST

Hello to everyone, recently I tried to play in PPSSPP with a fake PS3 controller from Shanwan, I didn't care because I could play on PC without problems. The problem with my case is that my phone only recognizes the left joystick, and R2 and L2 buttons work as the right joystick. I watched a lot of videos on Youtube but I didn't find the solution. I hope you can help me with this.

Mobile game with a story dilemma

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 06:42 PM PST

"Is it better to become a god or to become a demon." that was the question I came across when I was playing Mirage: Perfect Skyline. But first, let's take a step back, it is an open-ended story revolving around the conflict between men, gods, and demons where the demons are on the rise after their betrayal against the men and gods. The game is also filled with tough choices that either help the gods or the demons. Although I'm not that much of a fan of the fast-paced Action MMO genre, its captivating plot and heart-warming music really kept me going as I delve deeper into this world. So back to the question, feel free to leave your thoughts on the path of god? Or the path of a demon?

Feel free to try the game out as well: https://eyou.io/mpsyoutuber

I'll see you guys around in the game and add me as a friend while you're at it :D. My Character ID:1312152

    Snoopy’s Street Fair

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 02:24 PM PST

Hi, I'd like to ask here if anyone still has a working version of Snoopy's Street Fair for Android, an old game which was discontinued a few years back, or knows of a way to install it. I've tried various things over the past few days in an attempt to get it to work, but if anyone knows of a way or can assist in some form please be sure to let me know, I'd be appreciative. I just want to be able to play one of my first mobile games all over, and be able to help others experience the nostalgia too :)

Advice for games that can be played multiplayer but not at the same time?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 10:37 AM PST

So my wife and I play polytopia all the time and it's starting to get a little boring. We've sort of seen everything the game can do and at this point it feels like our matches come down to starting location and that's about it.

The thing I like about it though is that we don't have to play at the same time though. We take turns throughout the day whenever we want and don't have to "sit down" to play together. I was just wondering what other games you guys might recommend that can satisfy a similar itch to just check in throughout the day with. Thanks in advance.

I just finished House of DaVinci 2

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 09:36 AM PST

If you like The Room and its sequels, you need to give this series a try. I thought the first was a bit rough but adequate, but this one is a lot better.

It's sort of both a prequel and a sequel to the original, the original game taking place between chapters 2 and 3 of this game, given with a short recap. It expands on your own character, your history and motivations, which were completely unknown in the first game except that you are a "friend" of DaVinci's

The most notable addition is that of other characters with dialogue. The first instance I've seen in the genre.

It's not perfect, there's a few places where it's a bit confusing and it's difficult to tell what you can interact with, there are definitely places where it could be improved, but on the whole I'd say both games are worth the money.

House of DaVinci 3 was announced this past August.
