Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:30 PM PST Just built a PC today, 3rd one. Asus Rog Strix z590-e, msi ventus 3070ti oc, i5-11600k, Corsair fm 850w gold, had just installed windows, extra m.2 wasn't showing up so I was in bios reading, didn't change anything and it just shut down on its own, won't power on at all now, just the mobo logo lights up. Is it most likely the power supply? [link] [comments] |
Are these Normal CPU Temps with a NZXT AIO? Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:07 PM PST I recently installed an AIO specifically the Kraken z53. Are these normal idle temps. The highest I've seen is 49. Thanks for the help! EDIT: what is circled is the ran saying it is at 0 RPM, but I do see them spinning within the case [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Dec 2021 07:52 PM PST Hi y'all I am planning to build a computer even during these rough times and was able to pick up most of these parts except for the one and only RTX 3080 / Ti, my only hope is to go to retail and purchase a 3070-3090 in the next couple of months. Right now I think I am replacing it the gpu slot with an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 LHR that I found from newegg. I am sure it is unused and I will try run a couple of tests to see if it is legit. It should probably be able to roblox tho B) Parts list:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6Vk9ht some are overkill btw, that is intentional :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Dec 2021 06:14 PM PST What would be some good cpu fans for the i5-12600k? I think I will be overclocking it and I don't care about sound. Not sure whether something like a hyper 212 black will be enough or I should get a aio. [link] [comments] |
I currently have a Gtx 1050 that I’m really trying to upgrade from, should I wait on a new gpu? Posted: 05 Dec 2021 09:12 PM PST I really need to upgrade out of the 1060, I was looking at getting a gtx 1650 super which is around 400 where I am currently. Should I wait until prices go down or jump on it now? This gpu is killing me My other components incl 2x16 ddr4 ram, i7 8core cpu [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Dec 2021 09:06 PM PST I plan on upgrading my pc soon and using the parts to make a second pc and either sell it or possibly use it as a streaming pc. While I upgrade my pc I also want to redo my set up I'll be making my own desk and everything. What are some small inexpensive things I could add to my setup that will make it look 10× better? First time building a pc, i have 800$ budget for pc. Can you suggest me pc parts for my build? Posted: 05 Dec 2021 06:49 PM PST Here's my list, Case - Tecware nexus M TG w/ Case Fans Motherboard - Gigabyte B550M DS3H CPU - Ryzen 5 5600g w/ Cooler PSU - Corsair 550w CV550 Bronze HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB SSD - WD Green 500GB RAM - HyperX 2x8 3200mhz Monitor - AOC E2270SWHN LED VA 75hz Im from ph, i just converted my peso budget to usd. I play games like dota& lol in my old laptop. I stopped because my laptop cant handle those anymore. I'm also coding. So my prefer pc should handle productivity and at the same time gaming. I have a ps4 so triple A games will not be played in my pc. Except if my ps4 break then probably my pc will be my gaming station. I just plan to use integrated gpu, because gpu are very expensive. I will buy gpu if it's not expensive anymore. But for now i will stick to integrated gpu. [link] [comments] |
So my deepcool captain aio120 just leaked onto my 1080 Posted: 05 Dec 2021 06:40 PM PST Caught some graphics card artifacts, at first squad was running slow then I got some crazy artifacts thought it was malware. Turned of reeboted, she artifacts again after about 4mins of running I look in the case... Puddle of distilled water on top of my 1080. Killed the power and am now cleaning it off. No obvious scorching or burning on the Mobo, but I could smell a slight chemical smell. Press F? Would deepcool honour a warranty on this? I bought her back in summer 2017 and hand built Specs for the rig: Amd 1600x with deepcool 120m AIO in a push pull front of case configuration Asus b350m 4x8 Gskil 3200 MHz Gigabyte 1080 windforce (never overclocked) EVGA 650 gold Is on Samsung 256 SSD 1x 2 TB HDD Seagate Barracuda And WD blue 500gb NVMe m.2 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Dec 2021 02:45 PM PST Hi, It's been 4+ years since I have a GTX 1060 and I've been feeling very worried that it will die during the shortage. Just got a Odyssey g7 for a very good deal and I don't know if I should buy an RTX 30xx (AMD cost way more in my country), or just wait and buy a lower priced GPU. (I live in EU). Thanks for you response. Edit: I'll wait 24h to be sure. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:34 PM PST Hi all, I am in the process of acquiring parts for my first PC build. I purchased an ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II motherboard which does not have on-board WIFI capabilities so I will need to buy an adapter. My question is whether or not the dimensions of PCIe WIFI adapters are all the same? And if PCIe (x1) slots are universally located? I am looking at the Fenvi FV-AXE3000 Wi-Fi 6E AX210 PCIe Network Card but I am worried that it will not be the correct size to extend the antennas out the back of the case. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! [link] [comments] |
My newly built pc won’t display anything Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:32 PM PST I just finished building my new gaming pc, everything turns on and the fans are spinning, but my monitor just says no signal, the hdmi is plugged into the gpu too [link] [comments] |

Looking for a case that makes it easy to build, has a good airflow, and good for cable management Posted: 05 Dec 2021 07:16 PM PST Budget: 150 USD Don't care about the color or RGB. I just got a 3070ti and a new fully modular power supply. My current case is an iBuypower one with terrible airflow so I am looking to upgrade it. One of the problems I had in the past while building my first PC is that my hand would not fit and it would make it very hard to connect the cables or plug in the graphics card. Max height: 28in (~71cm) Max length: 24in (~61cm) Thank you. [link] [comments] |
