Please suggest an app for magazine reading/downloading Posted: 06 Dec 2021 11:16 AM PST I have been struggling to get a hands on any fluid app for magazines. But sadly there are not many apps available for this topic. I have tried readly, zinio and magzter but either catalog is too limited or everything is behind a perpetual paywall. Is there any app that can solve this? [link] [comments] |

App for connecting wired headphones to the TV via bluetooth? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 03:51 AM PST Hi, I have some good headphones but they are not Bluetooth. I wonder if there is any app which connects to the TV via Bluetooth like a wireless headphone, and allows to listen TV audio to the headphones plugged to the phone. Samsung smart things allows it with "Play TV sound on phone" option, but as soon as the phone screen goes off the connection stops. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Are there apps that store data in txt or md files? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 02:54 AM PST I use Obsidian, a note taking app that stores it's notes locally as markdown files, that I can read and edit with other apps like Tasker. Are there other apps, like to do apps, or habit tracking apps that also store it's data in local files? [link] [comments] |
Newish to Android - Any recommendations? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 02:09 PM PST Hi, so I got a free android from some carrier promotion (LG Velvet 5G, android 11, mediatek processor) I'm mostly an iPhone user but appreciate android (would probably have a galaxy note or a pixel 6 pro, if i was in the android ecosystem) Last time i played with android was the LG G2, where i installed CyanogenMod and then later LineageOS 14. I also did the same to a Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S 1). I also used to be a pretty avid user of ios jailbreaks up until 2015. So i'm pretty good with playing around with OSes. Now that I have this Velvet, what are some cool things I can do? I know the velvet doesn't really have a root that I could use. Idk if there's even a boot room unlock for my version. But i'm fine with that. I've already installed Youtube vanced which is pretty awesome. I've played around in the developer settings. Any other stuff or apps I can play around with? Especially something that iOS doesn't really have? I'm using mostly stock apps that came with my phone (google calendar, google files, etc), are there free options that are much better than stock? also what is the best reddit app? My Velvet doesn't have much bloat so i think imma skip a ADB cleaning. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 06 Dec 2021 05:47 AM PST Recently, I got a notification from Quora to buy a membership for their premium features like ad-free browsing and access to ALL answers. It's disappointing that now when all of us who got used to the ads, can't even use the app properly. Of course I tried to find mods and paid versions of Quora, but unfortunately none of them appeared to work. Does anyone has a solution for this? Or is there any launcher for Quora (like Boost or Joey for Reddit)? [link] [comments] |
