Was gifted $100 by a nice reddit user. how can I spend the money wisely!??

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 01:11 PM PST

Hello. I posted on here a few days ago and got a lot of suggestions on games I could play. Now I didn't have money on my account but someone was really kind to me and gave me $100 in Google Play.

What my issue is is that, although my phone can play almost any game because it is a $400 phone and has a good graphics chip and stuff, some games just still don't work. Normally I play free games and if they don't load or don't work I just uninstall them... But in with a paid game it would be very annoying. You don't want to pay money for a game that doesn't work, then you are insulting yourself and your gifter and well as support a game developer who doesn't value their player base or their game.

I was looking into a few paid games like: KOTOR, Bully, GTA, The Bard's Tale, Chrono Trigger, Stardew Valley, and others. I was also suggested many free games that I will be trying... And many other list to check out as well...

But out of the list I gave above some of the games have bad reviews like the game won't work... So how can I know without wasting money? Those games look and sound very cool... So what should I do?

    Also more recommendations are welcome.

    Gamepad controlling Android Menus, etc

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 02:15 PM PST

Hello, I'm new to using gamepads on android and I was trying to use my Nano Switch Controller on my Poco X3 Pro usig bluetooth. The problem I'm running into is that I can't map certain buttons on the controller since my phone reads as "go back" or "move up/down the menu" instead of being mapped.

Does anyone know how to disable this? Thanks.

Rocket League Sideswipe is very good actually

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:54 AM PST

This feels like smash bros and rocket league got mixed together and honestly it's the best summary I have. I get the same excitement I do from the regular rocket league but it's pick up and play and honestly a bit more accessible since it's only in a 2 dimensional plane instead of all over the place.

I freaking love it. And it's amazing with a controller. Ok that's all.

Bridge building game with NO jumps?

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 05:22 PM PST

Title says it all. Looking for a bridge building game that doesn't force you to make jumps for full stars, just bridges that go from one side to the other

    Android Emulator?

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 02:27 PM PST

I was wondering whats the state of android emulators currently? Like which is better, which faster, less intensive and better for medium to low tier PCs, etc.

Specially because, I just bought this PC which has an old processor -third gen core i3- but enough ram (8GB) to hopefully run the games im interested in (mostly gachas).

Good game to play with Mom (85)?

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 09:46 AM PST

My Mom isn't demented or anything like that, just old, but when I tried to play Words with Friends with her (a turn a day each) the ads and fiddling was too much and we had to quit after a few days.

Any suggestions for a turn-based game, not super violent but fun, that I could play with my Mom on a day-to-day basis, taking turns? She's okay with learning an interface/rules, she just can't handle a bunch of pop-ups.
