| Posted: 31 Oct 2021 07:56 PM PDT I wanted a desktop for the productive enviroment it brings. Im not a student, designer or any profession that needs high performance. Im just an average user that loves youtube/music, reddit, emails/calls/texts all the time for work an personal and use my phone alot for apps and whatever. I have a ZF2 as my personal and an iPhone from work. I almost bought the iMac but its a little expensive and I primarily use my Samsung and not for nothing those new iMac colors are hard to like. So i spent my budget($599) on a beautiful 34" LG curved display and $30 on a Dex dock and wow! I didnt think it would work out as well as it did. Samsung definitly has not used or promoted Dex enough or properley. The Hdmi from the dock runs perfect 1440 resolution and Dex puts Chrome TO SHAME!. I never liked Chrome to begin with but Dex enables me to have everything I just used, downloaded, signed into, acheived and created there and ready. Not linking through the internet like apple via keychain, imessage and everything else which has to mean Dex is more secure and efficient when it comes to relogging in or redownloading between modes. Not that Apple isnt secure with all that info, they basically wrote the book on cross platform info. But i think cross platform editing and creating is way more efficient when in my case the desktop, mobile phone and Z Fold unfolded as a tablet are completely in sync in the safest most efficient way possible because theyre the same device... My only concern is that I adopted the full Samsung Dex experiance to late, the dock is no longer made and only available through Amazon. Dex mode is perfect for most people just looking for everything they do via their phone in a desktop format with a great UI and incredible 4k resolution. [link] [comments]  | ||

If I go to the "Samsung Members" app, it only let's me use the points towards big purchases (phones, TVs, tablets). If I go to " Samsung Pay" it gives a blank screen when I click "redeem" on the points screen. I can't buy a smaller item like a gift card or something?. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Should I get an S20 FE or S21? Posted: 31 Oct 2021 09:30 AM PDT Greetings, I have the option of buying the S20 FE 5G 128GB for $145 or the S21 5G 128GB for $630 through an employee plan. Which would you go with based on my usage? I'm not a gamer, just looking for standard apps like Gmail, camera, Chrome, podcast, etc. Need wireless charging and waterproof of course. I'm a tad concerned about the 6GB of Ram on the S20 vs. 8GB for the S21. I see the S20 has a slightly bigger batter but not sure how battery life compares given the different processors. Posted: 31 Oct 2021 07:47 PM PDT Got my F62 yesterday, noticed heating on the upper part of the screen, CPU temp went 40°C max, but the screen and back heating has me worried. Are there any ways to fix it minimise this issue? Other than heating, I really like this phone, been working smooth but then again it's only a day old. I have the option to return till 7th November. | Posted: 31 Oct 2021 07:06 PM PDT I currently have a 55" 2017-era Samsung TV. I've loved this TV but want to upgrade to a 65". It seems the AU8000 might be the newer version of this but current reviews aren't as nice to this series as they were the MU8000. Not sure I can swing the price for QLED or OLED at that size. I noticed that isn't on newest s series phones and I don't understand why. I have face Id set up and I see there's a little led light going around the camera while detecting a face. The xfinity stream doesn't function, even though it works on the same internet connection on my PC and fire stick in another room. So, my question is, what is the best peripheral streaming device for newer Samsung TVs?
