It would be helpful if I was to at least write a brief description so I can search for it later instead of going through a 100 photos named something nondescript like "IMG39348.jpg." | Please recommend a simulation of deception and manipulation. Posted: 02 Oct 2021 10:37 AM PDT I prefer offline apps because I am offline a lot. I'm looking for a simulation of deception and manipulation in which an unwary or unlucky player can fall for a non player character's "lies," which are feints the game uses to simulate high stakes lies told to the player character, and the player devises feints for the player character to use as high stakes lies to trick the NPC's. The simplest example is that a computer hack only works if the target doesn't know it's happening. For example, if someone knows that they're the target of a ping sweep, they'll set their devices to not reply to pings. Also, unless the target is in on it, such as if they're a disgruntled employee, a password theft can't work if the target is aware it's happening. Also, the game tells the player that an NPC says that their phone died and they didn't know about the case to explain why they didn't testify for the NPC at a civil case. Winning the game requires critical thinking, so find out whether the NPC's phone actually died or whether the NPC's just doing four wack things to the PC each day and pretending to be the PC's best friend is a plot point. Also winning the game requires that the player character is dishonest, for example they lie about former bosses to sabotage the organization. An unwary organization of NPC's can recruit bad or overpriced employees on these toxic recommendations and go under this way. But if the organization is wise to the lie, that won't happen, and they'll refuse to hire the PC. Also the organization has its own secrets that aren't automatically obvious to the player, such as the CEO insider trading and then when a board member is too inept to know about an impending industrial accident and lies to seem more informed than they are, the CEO mistakes the board member for not letting them in on the tip and a power struggle waged by means of lies erupts between the two. The player can only find out about it by inferring it from what the player character knows. So, I see that there is We Are Illuminati: Conspiracy. Well, I think that's not what I meant. In it, what the player is doing and experiencing is completely obvious. That's the opposite of what I'm asking for. [link] [comments]  |

This app has almost 500k downloads and 60k active users, this is amazing but in terms of money is not doing well. | I've used Pi Music Player for a long time, but... Posted: 02 Oct 2021 06:04 AM PDT So I really enjoy the player, I paid for it, but... I use it only for playing MP3/flac. When creating a playlist I find it doesn't always load the full playlist and it's not even that long, maybe 20 tracks, it's repeating a small section of the playlist instead of going from start to finish. 260gb / 2,000 folders / 40,000 tracks 6gb ram When searching through A-Z of folders, going into a folder and returning to the A-Z list it starts from the top again having to scroll back through again to where I was previously. The folder titles do not scroll across screen so if you have multiple folders with a long name you have to guess which is which each time, then returning to the top of the list again to find the next by scrolling through all over again. Should I try another music player, are there other music players which have these functions? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 02 Oct 2021 01:56 AM PDT YouTube has a massive library of music, so I have massive playlists consisting of music I really enjoy. I sadly can't even listen to them fully, for the YouTube app doesn't play more than 300 videos at a time in a playlist. For example, you have a 1000 song playlist, but can sadly not listen to it fully via shuffle because YouTube decided that it's only going to play a selection of songs. As most YouTube users know, the shuffle does not work as intended at all on mobile. What I'm asking is if there's a way to listen to playlists fully without the needless trouble, possibly via a different application. I know YouTube music can actually shuffle playlists, but over half of the content on YouTube is unavailable on YouTube music. [link] [comments]  |
