Very happy with 9R battery life so far Posted: 02 Sep 2021 07:15 PM PDT Almost 5 hours SOT at 50% battery. Battery drain was a bit heavier yesterday but I think it's because my hotspot was on all day for my iPhone [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Sep 2021 12:36 AM PDT I was listening to some YT videos on My OP6 when the audio got stuck abd a buzzing sound came. I pressed and held power button to turn it off. after that it just refuses to turn on. It was not on charge. I was listening on speaker. It did not get wet nor did I dropped it. By the sound of it, It looked like ram issue (similar issue previously encountered on PCs.) I am baffled. as the phone was running just fine moments ago. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Sep 2021 11:46 AM PDT Okay so half a year ago I purchased the OnePlus 8T. When I got it, the built in call recording feature was permanently disabled (for what reason? who knows..) Last week, my brother had also purchased a OnePlus 8T, but on his phone, the call recording feature was ENABLED? I asked my friend, who also has an 8T, and he said he does not have the call recording feature, but his friend DOES have it on his OnePlus phone, his friend said "some devices come without it and some come with" Every single one of them, has bought it from the official OnePlus stores, including me. I've read somewhere that the call recording feature is disabled by default on the global model due to some legality issues then how come 1 out of a few phones, does have the call recording feature? Not only that, the JOneplus app that allowed me to enable the call recording via ADB now no longer work. So I'm stuck with no call recording? Wouldn't it be easier to add a checkbox with the terms of use and all that nonsense? than to play call recording roulette on your phones? what is this? [link] [comments]

Can't put my 6T in my pocket anymore since upgrading to OxygenOS 11 Posted: 02 Sep 2021 06:14 AM PDT Every time I take my phone out of my pocket, airplane mode has been turned on, or NFC, or mobile data turned off, etc. My phone is always locked before it goes into my pocket. I didn't have this problem before upgrading to OxygenOS 11. Anyone else experiencing this? [link] [comments]
Is there a point to stay with OP if I plan to continue to stay on AT&T? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 07:21 PM PDT I've been using OP for the last 2/3 years now and I've loved the phones. I've been using them on AT&T and never had an issue using them on this service but I feel like I've reached a point where I'm not getting the full use out of my service with AT&T , especially with my op7 pro not making their list of supported devices for that February service cut. Not really sure what the point is of me posting this. I either have to upgrade my op phone and still miss out on 5g service , changes phones or change providers. Just ranting really and wanna see others opinions [link] [comments]
Can I have notifications show the exact time they came in instead of X hours ago? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 06:59 PM PDT I'm used to Samsung where the clock time is shown on notifications. I'm trying to test notification lateness, on Samsung phones the problem is notifications don't come through normally when the phone is on standby. Not sure what to google for this. Posted: 02 Sep 2021 05:42 PM PDT New Phone came today, and these are my first impressions. I knew the camera wasn't phenomenal, but honestly it's terrible. Coming from a pixel 3 (a three year old phone) it's a huge downgrade, and these sensors probably cost $200 more. [link] [comments]
Oneplus 7 pro screen death. Repair or change? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 03:57 PM PDT Tl;dr: Screen not working. Should I repair my phone with a new LCD or just quit and buy a new one? I was browsing on facebook (nothing too harsh) with my 2 year old OP7pro, when my screen simply went off, though the touch commands still worked. After restarting it a lot of times with no change I gave up, showed to a technician and he told me that 99% sure it was the display. He couldn't test it with another display due to not having it in stock (Oneplus is a rare brand in my country). I'm not sure if I should buy the LCD on AliExpress from a considerably good store and replace it (it should cost around $150 usd) or if I should just quit and buy a new phone (leaving me a pretty paperweight because I couldn't even sell the parts for much in this market). I'm expecting the repairs to last for at least 2 more years, even changing the battery along the way. With your experience, should I go and repair or just replace it? [link] [comments]
Nord N10 upgrade to OS11 or stick with OS10? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 12:00 PM PDT I got myself a Nord N10 and was wondering if there are any issues with OS11 on the Nord N10. [link] [comments]
I bought the OP 8 and have connectivity issues with WiFi... with a twist. Posted: 02 Sep 2021 03:23 PM PDT So, for 5 years I've had a OP3 and it was a great phone, but I decided to get an OP8 for 400€ from the official store. Good deal and a nice upgrade. I configured everything and after a while my internet seemed to be down. Couldn't load pages, didn't receive messages, etc. Now, I've been using my OP3 as a wifi stick via tethering since it works perfectly in both Windows and Linux. After upgrading to the OP8 I wanted to have my OP3 on my PC for internet. Here's the twist: both phones can't be connected to the wifi at the same time. As soon as both are connected the wifi connection for both devices and hence my PC is down. It's easily verifiable and repeatable: I watch a video on youtube on one phone and as soon as I activate wifi on the other, both are down after a couple of seconds. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue? Otherwise I'll have to return the OP8 and look for a different brand, sadly. [link] [comments]
Nord 2 optimized night charging Posted: 02 Sep 2021 03:13 PM PDT Is is bugged? Seems like it's only every other night that I get the notification that it's doing the night charging thing. 11pm here and I just plugged it in, no notification. Around the same time last night I plugged it in and got the notification. Also on another night I received the notification that night charging was on but it then hit 80% and told me to disconnect the charger? [link] [comments]
EE SIM not working in Oneplus Nord 2 5G Posted: 02 Sep 2021 10:17 AM PDT I just got my EE SIM and it's not working (screenshot here). When I try to manually select a carrier, the EE networks show up under Available Networks, but when I try to join them it says "The network service you selected is unavailable." Any ideas? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 03:40 AM PDT I've still yet to update my OnePlus 7 Pro (GM1913) to android 11 after hearing all the bad reviews initially, is it safe and stable enough to update now to the most recent update of android 11? [link] [comments]
Alarms stopped working after latest security update. Posted: 02 Sep 2021 05:49 AM PDT Hi, I have An OP7TP McLaren, after the last update all alarms not from the OnePlus app stopped working. I use the googl clock app and the alarm is vibrating for like 3 seconds and stops. When I tried to set an alarm with the OnePlus app it worked normally, any suggestions to how to get the Google one working? Android 11 with August 2021 security update. [link] [comments]
My OP7T has spots on screen with white background Posted: 02 Sep 2021 09:15 AM PDT I have an OP7T .. Have had it for 18 months, all works great … Use Dark mode .. except, recently noticed if background is white, like my NYT app, see what looks like dust spots in background… Assumed it was dirty screen at first, but after cleaning screen still there … When background is black, can't see anything. Is this a type of burn-in with the dots on the screen? Again, doesn't really affect performance, because most apps are dark mode, don't see it. Curious if anyone else has this issue? Wondering what it is? Wondering if it means my screen will get worse? Any information would be helpful. [link] [comments]
Are there drawbacks of buying "GSM unlocked" phones originally sold by T-Mobile? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 09:03 AM PDT I've always wanted a 7 pro and am thinking about buying an open-box one on ebay for like $320. It's listed as T-Mobile GSM unlocked. Does the unlocking process come with any downsides on the software end? Does anyone have any experience buying these? [link] [comments]
Do I have to use OP cables to get warp charging? Posted: 02 Sep 2021 04:12 AM PDT Had this cable for about a year with my 8T and don't feel like spending £20 on a new one from OnePlus if a cheaper or more durable cable can be sourced and will still give me warp charging. [link] [comments]
OnePlus 8T+ 5G consistently is disconnecting my left earbud. Posted: 02 Sep 2021 03:47 AM PDT I have two pairs of TWS earbuds, Samsung Galaxy Buds and Google Pixel Buds (2nd Gen). On both of these pairs of earbuds, the left earbud likes to unpair from the phone, normally re-pairing a few times fixes the issue, but because this happens on more than one pair of earbuds leads me to believe that this is a device issue and not a earbud issue. Any thoughts/solutions? MODEL: KB2007 [link] [comments]
