app that alerts on subscription discounts Posted: 19 Sep 2021 04:09 AM PDT Is there an app or website that sends alerts on subscription discounts? I already know the subscriptions I need and those I don't. Say, I want to know when MS Office 365 or YouTube Premium are having crazy good discounts. I landed a good VPN annual discount accidentally (browsing Reddit), and I'm wondering how many other similar offers I am missing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Sep 2021 11:21 AM PDT It is a TODO app, you can add your Schedule as items you can assign to categories. It then creates a graph with how much time you spend on each category. I've made it using Flutter, as it makes it easy to do UI and is cross platform. For now it's only on the Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mikolajmalysz.schedule_mate If you could download it and check it out, I'd really appreciate it. If you like it please give a review, and if you have something to improve you can PM or DM me. Thank you [link] [comments] |
Which apps with minimal interface and material design do you use? Posted: 19 Sep 2021 12:40 AM PDT For browser, reddit client, to do list, launcher, habit tracker, note taking, YouTube client, file manager, ebook reader, doc viewer, video player, offline music player, dictionary, wallpaper app. [link] [comments] |
PDF Reader app with page thumbnail (multi page) view Posted: 19 Sep 2021 09:53 AM PDT Looking for an app where when you zoom out of the current page being displayed (or touch a button), and see that page as a thumbnail along with the surrounding pages. Something like Google's Photos app which lets you zoom out of the photo and see your other photos around it. Even better would be seeing more and smaller pages the more you zoom out. Something like 1 page > 4 pages > 8 pages. Currently using the moonreader app and like almost everything about it, particularly the dark mode/color inversion, just wished it had this feature as I am often wanting to backtrack 4 pages without scrolling to get to it. Posted: 19 Sep 2021 12:12 PM PDT Hi! I'm looking for an app where I can track things like:
The time interval, as well as maximum frequency, would depend on the item I would love that it it also showed each item's progress like in the one of the restaurant, it would have something like 0/3 (and then 1/3, 2/3, 3/3) Does anyone know an app like that? Thank you in advance! [link] [comments] |
How to backup & restore user data of an app Posted: 19 Sep 2021 07:22 AM PDT There is an app called Dict box (mod) which only allow backup via Google . So I try to backup /data/user/0/com.grandsons.dictsharp and then I try to restore it by pasting the same file in same location but the app crashes every time I open. Edit : I was able to paste "file" folder without crashing. [link] [comments] |

ISO boxing/kickboxing app with callouts AND videos of correct form? Posted: 19 Sep 2021 10:59 AM PDT I used to be an Apple user and had an app called Ruckus by a developer by the name of G Fuller. The app is still on the Apple App store. Sadly, no android version aside from a downloadable APK site that I'd categorize as questionable. Anyone know of anything similar? I even tried to click on the developer link and support link under the app listing on the App store but no luck. [link] [comments] |

News Curator App like Google news Posted: 18 Sep 2021 10:58 PM PDT Hey, there. Is there any new curator app who provides ad free experience(if possible open source or FOSS)? But like Google news(not like inshorts or flipboard) who is a curator rather than it's own news. [link] [comments] |
Any app to track my daily exercise routine? Posted: 19 Sep 2021 07:53 AM PDT I want to track how many push-ups, bench press etc I do in a day. [link] [comments] |
No Meat Today - reduce your meat consumption (beta) Posted: 19 Sep 2021 11:36 AM PDT A friend an I just released a beta version of our app. It's a simple reminder that helps you reduce meat consumption based around your weekly schedule. Choose meatless days, get a notification on these days, track your progress... and that's it :) Here's the Play Store link. It's not very original but some time ago I needed a real-world app idea to play around with some Android development tools. Later a UI designer friend of mine joined so we made the app look good and now it can be released for some testing. This is a hobby project, a tool I initially made just for myself but I hope it has value for others. It did help me get to 4-5 meatless days a week :) We have some ideas for improvements but first we are interested in some feedback from you. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Sep 2021 07:38 AM PDT Hey I use fairemail and some mail accounts only get new mails when I'm in the inbox folder actualising. Any ideas? :/ Thanks in advance! Cheers [link] [comments] |
An RSS reader with HTTP Basic Auth support Posted: 19 Sep 2021 06:42 AM PDT I'm looking for an android app able to read rss feeds that require HTTP authentication. Tried a bunch of them (the ones suggested on this subreddit), but none supports this [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Sep 2021 05:23 AM PDT I'm looking for an android app that has a categorisation system where I can see new articles about a topic from specific sources/RSS feeds I add. It would also be good if I could set up keywords to find new articles automatically about the topic from sources I don't have. I want to set up multiple groups like this, so when I want to read about politics I click the politics group, etc. I may eventually want to add stuff like fb groups, blogs and twitter feeds to these specific interest groups. I'd also like to have a group where I can see more varied top news, maybe with good filtering options so it doesn't give me hundreds per day. I'm using Google news out of habit and don't like the way it mixes news from vastly different interests and top news together. I want to shake up the way I read news and make it more efficient and with less distraction. I've just downloaded inoreader and it looks promising but I'd need to subscribe before getting the features I want, so I wanted to see if anyone here has any other recommendations before I pay for it. I'm new to using RSS feeds or anything other than Google news and not sure what the best way to do this is. [link] [comments] |
Looking for an app that limits volume on a specific Bluetooth device. Posted: 19 Sep 2021 05:10 AM PDT On my iPhone, there is a setting that allows me to limit earphone volume to a certain decibel level. I like to use this since I've become more conscious of looking after my hearing. I'm looking for something similar on Android, and the built-in warning on my device only pops up when the volume is already quite a bit higher than I want it to be. I've tried a few different apps, but they all limit volume even when I'm using the speakers, I only want the volume to be limited when I'm using headphones. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Suggestions for a good cache cleaner app? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 09:13 PM PDT For anyone that has or has had one that was good. Bonus would be if the unnecessary files to be removed are listed and not a mystery. Android recently removed easy access to the wipe cache partition option and I would prefer an app that scanned all storage at once instead of me going individually through dozens of apps and clearing caches. Thanks! I'm aware of SD Maid, I'm looking for something different UI-wise. [link] [comments] |
Moonreader + Settings for Magazines? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 08:24 PM PDT I've been a huge fan of Moonreader for years, and purchased the pro version almost on Day 1 - I've always oniy used it for books - epubs, but have recently started to get into some PDF magazines.. I hoped to continue to rely on Moonreader to handle all my magazine reading needs as well, but I'm stymied by the interface.. Every time I try to use pinch and stretch gestures to read the PDFS, it keeps jumping back to page 1,making it pretty much impossible to use. Before I go running off looking for other apps, I'm hoping someone who reads pdfs on Moon+ (and/or understands the gestures a bit better than I do.. To be honest I've always found Moon+ a little complex UX and settings wise) and can better help me understand what I'm doing that's causing these navigation issues [link] [comments] |
