[DEV] I made an Android app to sync your Bedrock worlds to the cloud! Posted: 04 Aug 2021 10:43 AM PDT Hi! I've always wanted to play Minecraft Bedrock on Android, but the problem is that if I switch from my phone to my tablet, I could't pick up where I left off. I'd have to plug my phone and tablet into my computer, copy the world files, etc. So, I made an app that does it for me (and now you, too)! It's called Bedrock. Basically, you give it access to your minecraftWorlds folder on your phone, and it will let you backup your worlds to Google Drive. Then, on your other devices, you can download that backup and pick up where you left off, seamlessly. It can also just be used as a world backup app. So if you wanna do something drastic, but don't want to risk your stuff, you can make a backup first in case things go south. Anyway, I just thought it might be something you guys would be interested in, so I wanted to drop a bunch of promo codes so you can try the app for free to celebrate it's launch! Here's 20 free promo codes for the app, first come first serve: Oh yeah! And if you need help or anything like that, feel free to email me at [tylernij@gmail](mailto:tylernij@gmail). I can give you a refund if you don't like the app, or if it's not what you expected. Love you all, and thanks for reading! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.draco.bedrock [link] [comments] |

How to prevent phone from being shutdown when locked? Posted: 04 Aug 2021 11:03 AM PDT I've been searching around the web and this sub for an app (doesn't necessarily have to be an app just a tweak or something alike) that prevents the phone from being shutdown while it's locked/on lockscreen. I've only found posts from years ago and those apps does not seem to work anymore. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (not rooted, but I can root it if necessary, but I'd like to avoid it) and I'm on Android 11. Thank you and have a great day! [link] [comments] |

[REQUEST] An app to browse my widgets Posted: 04 Aug 2021 11:03 AM PDT I'd like to have an alternative way to view the list of all available widgets. Currently the only way for me to add widgets to the home screen is by using the default FuntouchOS widget interface, which is a bottom drawer. The issue is it takes too long to swipe to the latest installed widgets as the drawer only shows three widgets per screen: Happy to hear any suggestions other than switching to a custom launcher. Any Notification Shade app Recommendations? Posted: 04 Aug 2021 06:32 AM PDT Sadly I'm stuck with vivo smartphone which has poor notification shade. I've used oneshade, power shade, material notification but these apps had flaws. Can any buddy suggest me something other than these? [link] [comments] |
Any alternative to "S Secure", the samsung "app locking" app Posted: 04 Aug 2021 04:46 AM PDT Its no longer compatible or something so I wanted an alternative to it. The app shouldn't have any ads and should run smoothly as if its default. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
I don't get pop up notifications from Instagram Posted: 04 Aug 2021 11:53 AM PDT Is there a way to get pop up notifications from Instagram just like you would get when you receive a message From messenger? [link] [comments] |
Looking for mood tracking app that instead tracks amount of time Posted: 04 Aug 2021 06:43 AM PDT Im looking for an app similar to those mood tracking aps, but instead tracking your mood it tracks time. I would like to have the features of it being with colour assigned to different amount of time which can be then seen in a grid like arrangement like when you view a whole month or year in a calendar. If you know about an app like that or similar way to do what I'm looking for, please let me know. [link] [comments] |

How to globally turn off "disable unused permissions"? Posted: 04 Aug 2021 07:25 AM PDT Is it possible to globally turn off this setting instead of app by app? I have many apps that I don't open that regularly but still want to have the right permissions next time I open the app. [link] [comments] |
Poweramp Equalizer crashes when switching from songs. Posted: 04 Aug 2021 07:20 AM PDT I have to force stop. And launch the app again everytime I open Spotify. Is it a bug? Is poweramp eating up ram? What settings should I change. I am using Samsung M21. [link] [comments] |
Any good apps like Rountinery, Fabulous, or myPoli? Posted: 03 Aug 2021 06:38 PM PDT Rountinery is a simple app that basically let's you keep track of your everyday habits and routines. I would keep using it but can't justify the premium subscription, $25 a year for something too simple. Does anyone have any apps suggestions, even paid ones (no subscription), that does basically the same thing? [link] [comments] |

Move your contacts to your new phone with a touch of a button - No account or PC required Posted: 04 Aug 2021 05:11 AM PDT Transfering contacts from one phone to an other seems overly complicated. Even though most Android phones support this out of the box, they require you to create or sign in an internet account that you might not want to use or share your data with. Other solutions include complicated steps such as sharing pairing codes between phones or needing a computer to share the contacts to. That seems like something that can be greatly simplified, so I decided to create an more streamlined app that does just that. Here is how it works: No sign up required, no complicated steps, no annoying ads. Your contacts data is read only so that it can be transfered between the two devices and it is not shared to anyone else. No private data is shared with any third parties and some anonymous data is collected to improve the app (in order to know whether something has stopped working for example). Interested? Here are a few Promo codes to try the app for free: NQW1BBW25VRRC3SRV6KG1NA Download the app from the Google Playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.facekeep.migration [link] [comments] |
Looking for a to-do app recommendation with specific features. Posted: 04 Aug 2021 03:55 AM PDT Hi all! I've been looking around for some very specific features for a to-do list app, but haven't been able to find them. (maybe they are there, but I just haven't researched enough) I'm looking for an app where every day (or the night before) I can make a list of things I'd like to get done. I'd then like anything that isn't completed to automatically get added to the next day. Does anyone know of an app where setting this up is a straightforward procedure? Every day I can usually set out 20-30 things I could do that day and finishing any 10 might make me feel super productive, but I don't want to have to manually keep adding the other 10-20 every day. These tasks might change day-to-do or week-to-week, and I don't necessarily want to do the same ones every day, so I don't want to just auto-populate the same list every day. (bonus points if the app somehow notifies you how long ago you added the item to the list) Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Aug 2021 03:21 AM PDT I have a habit of creating a mess of applications which I rarely use. So I want an app organizer which can sort the applications in categories of which then I can create folders. [link] [comments] |
Alternatives to Gboard with cursor-in-spacebar and swipe with backspace functionality? Posted: 04 Aug 2021 02:56 AM PDT Title says it all. I've been looking for alternatives to Gboard for a while, but I find 2 specific features indispensible - (1) the ability to use the spacebar area to move through alphabets as if using arrow keys on a keyboard and (2) the ability to use swipe from backspace to delete multiple letters / words in a go. Please lmk if there's an app out there (great if its open source, but even if not) that has these features. [link] [comments] |
