I'm careless, my phone has fallen not less than 25 times this year. There was a week at work where it fell from my table at work daily. I've never had a phone that wasn't cracked in the first few months. My previous phone a Galaxy S8+ was in pieces before I laid it to rest. The phone before that, an iPhone 6s+ literally cracked the following day after purchase. This phone is still in pristine condition. No screen guard. I just want to give it up for Xiaomi. I need great quality for audio and microphone as I conduct interviews and have multiple Zoom meetings a week, and I spend hours a day listening to Spotify. Any suggestions? I'm using the same headphones as I used with my last phone (Redmi 4 Prime) and the sound is much worse. I also tried different headphones and it still sounds bad. I can barely understand anyone speaking in tv shows or videos. The vocals are too weak and quiet. I tried fiddling with the setings and equalizer but no luck. Anyone else experiencing this? I checked the card with chkdsk, the built-in windows program in its properties, none of them show any problem so I'm highly suspicious that my phone is causing it. It always happened after restarting it, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe MIUI doesn't stop possible reading/writing processes before restarting the system? It's getting really frustrating. Even if I lock the app (Opera in that case) and select no restriction for battery saving , the app close itself if it is in background for 10 min... It is the version with a 90 hz oled display, USB C 33w charging, 8gb ram, 128gb storage with expandable storage. Didn't check what screen res it has. I read online that it has a bad battery life and overheats in some stress tests. But if I do a lot of gaming or watching a lot of YT/Netflix on my phone will it overheat?
