I'm a senior developer on VLC 4.0 and I've been working on this innovative player designed to stream videos from a single query. It streams BitTorrent and supports a variety of video backends. All of this while serving your best interests at all time.

I would appreciate if you could give it a spin. Feel free to ask anything 👉 https://twitter.com/3unjee

Starting a new job, looking for a route planner app

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 08:05 AM PDT

I am starting a new job delivering packages, and i am looking for an app where i can enter the list of addresses at the start of the day, and it will plan the shortest route to hit them all. most of the ones i found are prohibitively expensive for my budget, or dont allow more than 10 or so stops. i expect anywhere from 20 to 80 stops per trip.

Help me, Obi-wan Kenobi r/androidapps, You're my only hope!

    EARNING APPS FOR STUDENTS

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 07:47 AM PDT

Hey there, I'm a student here. Hoping that many of you are also in school/ college. There are many good apps which are really really productive and helpful. Free versions are sometimes limited so I want to pay for premium pass. But sometimes the subscription plans are out of budgets, though some app provides students offers like Spotify, Evernote. but not all. So I want to know about any apps that pay you for doing small tasks, small enough to pay for 2-3 apps subscriptions. If not apps then it's there anything else for that.

What Early Access or newly released apps is anyone using?

The Playstores search and filters are terrible for finding new apps. Has anyone discovered anything interesting or new apps outside of the Playstore?

    Sync or relay?

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 08:54 AM PDT

G'day lads, I've been trying to find a neat lil' app for reddit. I narrowed my choises down to two due to their nice modern desing, amoled support and extra neat features.

On one hand I love how gesture based relay is, not to mention the very fancy and lovely looking animations. The controls are intuative and I simply love it.

On the other hand there's sync. The modern desing is purely great, not to mention the iconic sync feature.

    Which to choose?

Doesn't have to be 15 specifically, just need a player that has these forward/backward skip buttons. Thanks!

What are some good Wallet apps?

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 11:54 AM PDT

So I like using my phone to pay for stuff .. very convenient. It started me thinking that it would be great to have all my loyalty cards, insurance cards, park passes, etc on my phone .. rather than carry them. I have recently switched to a thin money clip type wallet .. and I find myself wondering which cards I need to carry .. I wish Google Pay would let me store those ... I've looked in the Play store .. a lot to choose from so just wondering if people have had experience and would recommend

    One time buy

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 11:14 AM PDT

Hey Android Users, Which apps are you using that are one time buy. And that's also worth the money. I know subscriptions are right way to run any app, but for a student like me some subscriptions are heavy on pocket.

If not one time buy, suggest me your best app with affordable subscription. ( <1$)

Looking for an actually good app to blur background in the images.

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 11:13 AM PDT

Okay, I know apps like PicsArt or AfterFocus etc. And most of the stuff you can find in TOP 10 APPS, and they work... for the most basic images, like an outline of a bird or a person in a hoodie, and you still have to adjust it manually anyway.

Is there any app that can actually detect selected shapes and outlines properly and blur the background by itself, not only in the pictures are basic enough that you can blur on your own manually anyway?

I'm talking stuff like hair, fingers, plants, fences, any more complex shapes that are basically impossible to outline manually, with your fingers, on a small screen, or pictures without perfect lighting.

Basically a photoshop-level of blur but an android app.

    Thanks in advance.

Stellio isn't detecting m4a audio files

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 11:10 AM PDT

    Hello everyone,

Some of my music library is in m4a format. I've downloaded Stellio because it is advertised as supporting m4a format. However, the app won't detect the m4a files on my phone. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to tweak a setting, or download something?

    Thank you.

    Launcher for Android Feature phone

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 07:18 AM PDT

Hello fellow redditors. I've recently bought an AGM M7 phone which I'm becoming acustomed with. The main problem is that its launcher is based on Launcher3 but has some bugs. For example you cant delete a shortcut and if you delete an app , its location will remain blank.Sadly I cant use launchers like nova because I lose the hability to lock the screen or control volume. Could you recommend me a launcher which supports doing actions based on harware keys? Thank you on advance

Video player that allows you to always view videos in landscape mode?

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 09:53 AM PDT

I tried VLC player and there is no option to always view videos in landscape mode, they are always rotated along with the phone, even if auto rotation is turned off in global settings. The only option it has is to lock the current orientation, and you need to use it on each video every single time

Gonemad music player is surprisingly better than poweramp in terms of music playback

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 09:07 AM PDT

I have been using gonemad music player for 2 years and its something about it that is so magical that i keep coming back no matter what other music player i try just to listen to music on it again , earlier this year i tried poweramp (the so called most powerful music player for android) hoping it might do the same magical effect that gonemad does but nope maybe music sound much louder on poweramp but its not as rich or clear as gonemad . honestly idk what gonemad does differently than poweramp they both use OpenSl instead of android stock audio engine and both have big buffers and use powerful HQ setting to get the best audio experience but that's my opinion , the music in poweramp doesn't move me like Gonemad

Is it just me ? Or what?
