I'd like to turn on Do Not Disturb, disable Night Mode, and disable automatic brightness adjustments while I'm playing Wild Rift, but I can't find a way of doing it on Android. I have this tradition of listenig to a voicemail I saved from my grandparents every year on my birthday since they passed. My birthday is mid-July, and like the previous years, I opened my Google Music app to listen to my grandparents sing me happy birthday. I panicked this year because I opened the app (the first time since my previous birthday in 2020 because I really only use spotify now) to find that Google music was bought by YouTube. So, I tried checking my internal storage to find it and I can't seem to locate any voicemail past 2020 (I did get an upgraded phone in Jan 2020). At this point, I'm slightly panicking and very very sad. I'm reaching out wondering if there is any way in this magnificent universe that this voicemail is somehwere out there in the void and is retrievable? Thank you for any help you can provide. Posted: 30 Jul 2021 03:59 PM PDT I bought an unlocked s10e but it's att carrier branded and does not receive OTA updates without an active att sim. My security updates are over a year late and I can't use a Visible sim card because of it. Can I switch from att firmware to global firmware to receive updates, is that a thing? Will my device work normally? I found this guide which seems good and pretty similar to my situation: https://youtu.be/xuV5-v91IUA but I'm not clear on if I can switch firmware or not, I'm not sure if thats what he did for his wife? Seems like it is but he doesn't clarify. Tl;dr: My device is network unlocked but carrier branded, I want to make my phone network unlocked with software like factory unlocked so I can receive all updates as soon as they come out. | Unable to attach files in Gmail or upload to Drive Posted: 30 Jul 2021 10:38 PM PDT Pixel 2XL user for over 3 years without any problems. Today, I tried attaching a photo to an email in Gmail app and all I get is a blue dot and white folder icon after I click the paperclip icon, then it goes back to my drafted email like nothing happened - I don't even get a chance to see the list of files to select from. Perplexed as I've never had this issue before, I then try a few more times with the same result. Alright, I'll try uploading to Drive and inserting a file in Gmail. I open the Drive app and when I click '+' icon > Upload the same thing happens! Blue dot with white folder overlaid on top and it just goes back to my root Drive folders. Granted I don't attach files thru the Gmail app or upload to Drive from my phone that often so it's hard to say when this started but this is frustrating since I'd like to be able to do this for convenience or if I'm in a bind of some sort. I'm on the latest versions of both apps, permissions for Files and Media are enabled for both apps, cleared cache/data for both apps, force stop, soft phone reset...no change. I'm at a loss here - I'm still able to attach photos in Messages and Whatsapp so I don't think there's a hardware issue. Any other ideas what I can try short of a factory reset? TIA! | Posted: 30 Jul 2021 10:15 PM PDT I have been using Redmi note 7 pro 4gb/64gb variant since march 2019. The back panel is cracked but it doesn't matter to me that much. Although I can see some glitches,but there are no noticeable bugs while using. The phone lags sometimes for a second while using chrome. I have no issues while playing games or using social apps. The phone over heats while using camera apps. I have been stopped receiving software updates since Android 10. My mom asked me this morning whether I want a new phone, and I said I'll think about it. Individually everything works fine. But when I select both to add them in a carousel I get the following error. "Can't continue editing. Sorry, there was a problem editing your photo. A report has been sent to Instagram." Can't really find anything about this online. If anyone knows how to fix this or what causes it please let me know. I'm on Android 10, EMUI11. They're also aware of turning off location. However, I have the email address of someone who is probably logged in on it. Is there no way to use this to help find the phone? It's not a bad phone by any means, but it's too similar to my 7T. Can someone please recommend a phone with the following? Need: CPU: SD 870 or better 8GB RAM or better Battery to get me through at least a full day Stereo speakers (use of the ear piece is fine) At least 90hz screen Great camera. on par with iphone/s21 or better. Nice to have: Wireless charging 2k resolution screen Interesting design Budget: $1,000 I'd prefer not to spend more than $800 if possible. The big factor for me is the camera. I like to take a lot of pictures and OnePlus is disappointing. I had Nokia and Huawei phones that take a lot better photos. I'd go with Huawei again but I'm in the US... [link] [comments]  |
