| Facebook Messenger link to profile opens in in-app browser Posted: 01 May 2021 08:18 AM PDT I have had this happen before a long time ago and think it eventually fixed itself, but it's quite annoying. Out of nowhere, trying to open someones profile from the messenger app opens Facebook (m.facebook.com) in Messengers in-app browser instead of the actual Facebook app. I already confirmed that in the settings for both apps, the "open related links" option is on. Is this just a random bug with the app that will fix itself after an update or is there actually a setting or some defaults I can clear to fix it? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 01 May 2021 09:41 AM PDT I want to develop an app that is going to work on both Android and IOS but at this point i still don't know what language or method to develop this app, I've done some reasearch and found a few methods but i would like to get the insight of someone who has already done it regarding what method works best. The app will basically register users open a session and show a table of content as well as have the feature of texting, but the most important one is a payment page, i never done a payment gateway and since it'll be local do banks provide already developed payment gateways that u just implement in the code using an API or smth similar. Some time ago, I started developing an app called "Minimalism Challenge" which is based on the Minimalism Game that you may know from other places. Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.geier.minimalism_challenge Over time I added some more wishes and features for the user like:- multiple images per day- daily reminder- do a challenge in reverse- do challenges freely / out of order days... and some more are on the backlog. Now I would like to ask you, what you think and what can/should/must be improved, so that I can set/align the priorities for further development. I also highly appreciate it if you have any suggestions on "how to to reach the right target group" on the internet and if the pricing model is good or how you would have done it. I have found most podcast players I use have a significant delay between going from not playing to playing after they have been idle for a while. This includes hitting play on a widget, etc. The app I have used most and longest is AntennaPod, but I am willing to change it up to get the speed. I don't really require complicated playlist management or anything. I typically don't even auto-download, I just run through the new eps and download the ones I want once a day. [link] [comments]  |

I thought I could use the Screen Record in android 11 to capture them then play them back. It works ok from a quick test. Is there a way for the app to detect that I'm doing this? | App to synchronize a Windows PC folder to Android Posted: 01 May 2021 04:48 AM PDT Is there an app that lets me synchronize the content of a folder from a Windows 10 PC to an android and a linux device? I download lot of high quality music and organise it pretty well but I just can't keed synchronized everything by hand so I need some app thing that's free, NOT cloud based and preferably open-source. I've tried Syncthing (as it checks everything basically) but the android app just don't have write permission to the SD card. I'm good with doing tricky business on windows and linux but I'm really just a regular user of android.
