| Posted: 01 Mar 2021 04:10 PM PST I'm a law student so use a lot of specialized words and phrases, plus it now either adds a "tab" option to take the word or offers multiple words for a phrase - none of which helps because it's totally wrong but distracts from the ability to write. I downloaded a copy of my paper to work on today from my google drive and suddenly it has predictive text, yet never did before. I'm out of town so can't get to my work computer and am on my personal one, but it's never done this before either. I've tried going into Word > Options > Proofing > Autocorrect Options. From there I've tried turning off the replace text option, nothing changed. I tried also turning off all autocorrect options, nothing changed. Next I went into Settings (for Windows) > Devices > Typing > Show Suggestions as I type on the software keyboard. Turned that off, nothing happened. Under hardware keyboard the option to show suggestions or autocorrect as I type were already off and still are off. Tried a reboot after all this - no change. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Mouse stuttering in windows 10 Posted: 01 Mar 2021 07:44 PM PST Good evening friends, I have a problem with the cursor while I am running some programs or games, let me tell you ... [Alert of a lot of text] What happens is that every time I run a game or application the cursor on the screen seems to get stuck, as if it had micro freezes, this only happens when I play for example some less demanding game (like brawllhallaa) that does not set the speeds of clock and memory of the gpu to the maximum (I have a r5 2600 with an rx550 with 8gb of ram mounted in an a320 mk) otherwise, if the game is demanding and forces the graphics to raise its clock speeds to the maximum, the cursor does not present the micro freezes, I already tried everything ... Seriously, even reinstalled Windows 10 but nothing! The truth is I am desperate since it is somewhat annoying when I play because the mouse really freezes in moments, it is quite noticeable and I have also checked it by measuring the refresh rate of the mouse on a page to measure the polling rate, for example my mouse is of 1000hz, but when the micro freezes pass it goes down to 600hz, 700hz and varies a lot (it is not the mouse since I have already tried with others). | Posted: 01 Mar 2021 12:16 PM PST FIXED! I just redownload the latest 1909 iso and installed it over my current 1909 install (double click on the .iso, then double click the setup.exe). Which went through without any issues. I then simply used the 20H2 .iso I had downloaded earlier and tried to install it once again. It was stuck at 86% for some time but to my surprise, finished installing without error codes this time. ————— Hey there, I've been on W10 Home 1909 since forever and can't upgrade to any newer version through the "update" setting in Windows. I also tried to manually upgrade to both 2004 and 20H2 through the setup.exe in the .iso, that didn't work either (stops around the 88% percent mark with errorcode 0xc0000005), same thing with the W10 update assistant. Things I've tried so far:
Now, from what I've read in the past, Windows is sometimes holding back updates for PCs due to certain hardware incompatibilities. However, I don't think any of my hardware should cause any problems. Here are my specs:

It still works when I connect it to my iPhone.. The keyboard appears to be pairing to my computer fine. The drivers seem to be up-to-date, thought tbh I'm not sure which driver it is.
