[DEV] Electrio, a logic puzzle game Posted: 29 Jan 2021 05:27 AM PST Electrio is a logic puzzle game where you manipulate electric modules on a board by moving and rotating them. The goal is to wire them all. There are currently 500 levels/puzzles in the game among four modes. There are also some achievements to unlock if you fancy those. I spent the last months of confinement developing this little game and I'm quite happy with the result. Please try it and if you have any feedback, I'd be happy to hear it. Have a nice day! Posted: 28 Jan 2021 06:53 PM PST Download the newest build on Google Play Please uninstall the Github versions before downloading from Play Store. They use different signatures. Join the discussion on Telegram Hello all, I decided to publish the app for early access on the Play Store to make it easier for me to push updates and spot issues. As a result, this may be the last post about this project and all future updates will be pushed to the Play Store directly. Since I had been busy with college, there hasn't been a lot of updates on this project besides minor bug fixes. But rest assured I am looking for ways to achieve the features requested and will push them as soon as they are stable 😄 [link] [comments] |
Looking for an app that tracks moods and is a to-do list/reminder Posted: 29 Jan 2021 08:49 AM PST Essentially looking for an app that combines mood tracking (Dailyo is what I use now) with a to-do list/reminder app (like Evernote, todoist, etc). I'm an adult recently diagnosed with ADHD and am trying to find a way to actually make progress. Having more than one app means I'll just ignore them or not use them. Anyone know of a good app that has these features? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 29 Jan 2021 10:59 AM PST Simple Weather does what the name says. Shows weather, using open weather provider. Do note that it doesn't have widget support yet, they're coming soon. There are no ads in the app though, despite Google Play Store saying "contains ads." [link] [comments] |
[Android 9] Is there a way to program messages automatically? Posted: 29 Jan 2021 10:52 AM PST Hi, I am a student and I would like to remind my mom to take her medication at lunch when she is at work. I was thinking of some kind of text that automatically sends itself at a certain time every day of the week, but I don't know if it exists. It would be cool if the message could be personalized (for example, I make 10 different messages and the application randomly selects one of the 10, so it looks more personal and less robotic). I currently have a OnePlus 6T (no root) with Android 9. Thank you! [link] [comments] |

Is there a way to get a screan recorder capable of recording the internal audio? More in the posta: Posted: 29 Jan 2021 09:24 AM PST So, I'm using a samsung M series phone with 1ui 3.0 based on android 11. I was excited to update my phone to the latest android based 1ui as I read that android 11 includes a screan recorder capable of capturing internal audio. To my bad, this latest update does not have it. Since android itself allowed screan recorders to capture internal audio, are there any third party apps that are built for android 11 devices without the defalt screan recorder? Will be great to know if anything exists. [link] [comments] |
Podcast Addict users, why do you like that app better over other pc apps? Posted: 29 Jan 2021 05:37 AM PST I'm an Android user and new into Podcasts, I've been reading a lot of posts in this forum asking what is the best Podcast app and I've seen people recommending Podcast Addict. So instead of asking again what Podcast app is your favourite I want to know why you prefer Podcast Addict over Podcast Republic and other podcast apps. If you have found something better than podcast addict on android, please recommend and mention why it is better :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jan 2021 03:19 AM PST I just noticed that I have to restart my phone everyday because (i suppose) the cache is building up, some apps become slow or unusable despite me having still 50% of free memory, is there a way to avoif that ? Thank you [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jan 2021 03:00 AM PST I found Goal Meter and it's exactly what I'm looking for but it's really buggy on my Pixel 5, like to the point of being unusable. Basically I want an app that will let me set an overall goal, like "1000 minutes piano practice" and then track and sum those minutes "today I practiced 42 minutes", rather than just instances "I practiced today." Goal Meter is awesome because it lets you choose the unit, so you can track minutes or miles or instances. But again, it needs a lot of work. I reached out to the developer, but I need an interim solution! Please help! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 29 Jan 2021 09:13 AM PST I've had this app on the play store for 4 months. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodweathercorp.perappbrightness So far it has 3000 downloads, 600 active devices, and has made a whopping total of $19. My advice for aspiring lone mobile developers: Unless you're planning to create some kind of shady gambling app, or you're stealing code from someone else, or you intend on creating fake shovelware apps whose only purpose is spamming ads when the user opens them, then don't bother. It's not worth the effort. [link] [comments] |
Alarm app that you have to type custom/motivational text to turn off Posted: 28 Jan 2021 09:10 PM PST Hello , not sure if this is the right reddit, but does anyone know of any alarm app that you have to type custom/motivational text to turn off? Such as you write your goals/dreams / a text before, and you have to replicate same text before it turns off. I'd pay for something like this. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
App for syncing between android mobile and windows PC Posted: 28 Jan 2021 10:41 PM PST I basically want to do this for purpose of recording videos using my android. I am using my phone camera with the open source app - "open camera" as it enables us to adjust more settings than the default camera app. Since I use the back camera and fix it to a tripod while recording, it is hard for me to tweak settings and review the video while recording. I want to be able to control my phone and view its contents through my windows PC for this purpose. Please suggest any apps (preferably open source) which will allow me to do this. I think kdeconnect might work but a proper windows release is not there. [link] [comments] |
Record and save videos from two rear cameras? Posted: 29 Jan 2021 04:18 AM PST I came across a few open-source projects trying to capture images from the dual rear cameras with camera2 api. Does anyone know of any commercial app or an open-source project trying to capture and record videos from two rear cameras simultaneously? [link] [comments] |
