    My phone has shipped

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 05:20 AM PST

I just got a text saying my order has shipped from FedEx and will be here Wednesday. Its shipping from Irving texas and the weight seems right. Is it possible they are shipping Early? My online order said the soonest it would ship was friday. If it makes a difference, I bought the phone the first day it became available.

The 5x telephoto lens on Note 20 Ultra is underrated. I took some photos with telephoto and main lens and the results were shocking. Photos taken by telephoto lens looked pleasing and and the edge detection is almost as same as of DSLRs.

Even if the quality is pretty bad, I still find this level of zoom impressive

Samsung's Major Competitors Quitting Mobile Industry

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 03:07 AM PST

Huawei has recently announced they are selling their premium mobile business.

After 6 years of losses (-$4.5 billion/5yrs), LG has also announced and looking to quit to sell off their mobile sector business. Btw I havent touched LG since my v10 overheated (2016) into a bootloop which LG refused to refund their customers except for those who had the patience to wait out a year long class action lawsuit just to get a refund. (Didnt have the time for that)

Congrats and major respect to Samsung for innovating the highest quality and standards in the mobile industry while always taking responsibility ethically and compensating their customers acknowledging any time they made a mistake in the past such as the infamous note 7 battery, where Samsung voluntarily took a $26 billion loss almost 5 years ago and made a comeback to this very day. I for one will always be loyal to Samsung as they continue their innovations into the future. Speaking of which, excited for AMD?

Side note: The past few years Samsung has focused on optimizing their innovative products to support disabled people all around the world, in addition to lowering some of their prices due to covid.

Never fail to amaze and innovate, thank you Samsung.

    S21 Overheating and overall experience

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 01:27 AM PST

I saw posts saying that there's overheating issues with the new ultra. Can anyone confirm if this is an issue with the standard s21 (exynos)?

Also could you guys share your overall experience with your new s21?

Samsung Smart Call vs Google Phone, SPAM filter

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 08:08 AM PST

    Hi,

I'm gonna switch my Pixel for a Samsung, and one of the things I love on Pixel is Google Phone and his spam call filter.

I know that Samsung has his own implementation by Hiya, and I've seen that the app Hiya dosn't have good reviews.

Anyone has tried both of them? It's Samsung spam filter good or it's better to go with Google Phone?

    Thanks!

    Samsung's Galaxy S21 doesn't support seamless updates

My S6 with his whopping 2 hours of screen on time! Needless to say, I can't wait to get my S21 Ultra

    Posted: 24 Jan 2021 03:33 PM PST

Sounds like many of us worldwide are getting our devices a few days early! I'm in the UK :)

The savings were crazy on Samsung for these items and the only reason I finally decided to jump on it now. So excited about using the s-pen on both devices!

Does the S20 FE 4G model use the same the display panel as the 5G model?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 05:42 AM PST

I'm getting the screen replaced on my S20 FE 5G and my local phone repair shop has only a screen for the 4G model, will that screen work on my S20 FE 5G if used to replace the screen on that model?

How do I use Standard mode without having motion smoothing? I don’t think I can turn it off by myself and Film mode washes out the colors?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 09:13 AM PST

When picking the option for how I want my TV to look, I go with Movie Mode because I hate how the motion smoothing looks and it looks like in the settings I can't turn it off on it's own without switching to Movie Mode. That being said, the colors are much more vibrant in Standard mode. Is there any way to keep the color of Standard mode and have motion smoothing off?
