    My Samsung ecosystem. I love the Note series, I can't live without an S-pen or Samsung Dex. I've had the samsung galaxy note 2, 3 and 4, I currently have a Note8 6/64, a Note9 8/512 and a Note10+ 12/256. A tab S6 Lite, a samsung fullhd 23" monitor, a samsung fridge and a samsung washing machine.

    Everyone keeps saying the IP68 rating doesn't make your phone waterproof, only water resistant which is true, BUT your IP68 rated phone - (or the S21 at least) - is more water resistant than you would think. That's an S21 sitting in an aquarium full of water for almost 23 hours.

    I was a Vivid screen mode loyalist. Tried Natural screen mode a month ago for some change, forced myself to get used to it even if it looked so washed out at first. Tried Vivid again today after a month and I can't stand it anymore. I am now a Natural mode loyalist.

    Try to give Natural mode a chance. Yes, colors pop on Vivid and the change will be hard at first bec Natural looks so fking dull but you would be shocked on how FAKE and ARTIFICIAL Vivid actually is by the time you get used to Natural... I can't believe my eyes. Natural is where it's at! Easy in the eyes and just the real deal! No fakeness.

    Search should immediately go to an app instead of having to first "locate" it.

    I downloaded one UI 3.0 a few days ago and I love it. But one thing still absolutely infuriates me. If I search for an app, instead of immediately being able to drag it to my homescreen, or into some map. Instead of being able to long press and get the options and settings. I first have to long press, then press locate app, and then long press again to do what I want to do..

    This is super counter intuitive..

    Also while I'm at it, when opening the app drawer by swiping up, a second swipe up should automatically open the search. Or at the very least they should put the search bar on the bottom for easy access. Right now it's all the way at the top and as someone that uses it a lot it's annoying..

    In fact, the one thing that I really miss from nova launcher is being able to swipe up on the home screen to open search. This was the quickest and easiest way to find any app. (Swipe from bottom for drawer, swipe form the center for search). I would love to have this option on ONE UI. Or at the very least have the ability to double swipe up to open search (one to open app drawer, second for search). Also NOVA'S search has been able to find any app and give full access to it for years. No need to locate apps or whatever, search an app and press / use the icon as you'd do on your homescreen or app drawer.

    I haven't used NOVA in a long time because 1. One UI rocks. For the most part it's incredibly good and gets better with each update 2. The new gesture navigation that came with android 10 wasn't supported by launchers (not sure about now) and I absolutely love the new gesture navigation and can't go back to the bottom row navigation icons.

    But the seamless search function is something that I still miss to this day. If ONE UI did this It would be the absolute most perfect phone UI / launcher

    Excellent Battery Life �� (Note 20U 5G). Nothing special, I just noticed I was using the phone alot today and I couldn't remember when I plugged it out. Then I got the 15% warning and decided to check the graph.

    S21 Ultra - Weather app has an advert that can't be disabled?

    When you open the weather app via the widget or otherwise there's an advert banner at the top.

    Haven't seen it in other apps so far.

    Can this be disabled?

    I've already disabled marketing notifications ect whenever I can but don't see anything related to ads displayed in apps.

    I really don't appreciate advertising in the official apps that come standard on the phone!

    Switched from iPhone X to S21 Ultra. My experience so far.

    Just received my S21 Ultra via FedEx yesterday and I'm very pleased with it so far. The build quality, screen, and performance is glorious. I'm rocking the 512 GB unlocked model. Transitioning from Apple to Samsung was at most a little annoying but not too bad. I wasn't really that invested into the Apple ecosystem to start with despite owning 3 iPhones. Google Photos allowed me to store my entire iPhone gallery and Google Drive stored my contacts and documents. Connecting my iPhone X to my S21 Ultra via a (USB-C to Lighting) cable further allowed me to transfer all of my text messages including the iMessages. Shame the only thing I couldn't transfer were my WhatsApp convos which is how I get word for my work. Kept me in the groups and just got rid of all the messages, damn. Being a long time user of Google made things a lot easier. I got the $200 pre-order credit and received the Buds Pro and Rugged Case for free and I am not disappointed with either. Transferring service from my iPhone X to my S21 Ultra was as easy as a few taps and types on the Verizon App, though I did have to make a quick trip to the Verizon store to get a 5G SIM. The removal of the expandable storage is a bummer but I don't think I would've ever used it anyways.

    Will I ever go back to iPhone? • Yeah, likely, but only once Apple starts reducing the incredibly intrusive notch and make their screens 120hz.

    Why did I get a Galaxy phone after being a iPhone user for so long? • There was always something that drew me to the Samsungs. Whether that be the looks, performance, and how they are so much less restricted than the Apple phones.

    Welp, thats my experience. What was your experience like?
