Why do all android music players limit a folder to 100 songs? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 10:51 AM PST I have my music collection organized in folders, some of which have more than 100 songs. EVERY android music player I've seen will only read the first 100 songs in a folder and dismiss the rest. Why? Is there a music player I can actually use? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jan 2021 12:26 PM PST I am looking for an application for planning daily tasks. In store there are many of them but I am looking for specific feature: - adding a new tasks starts after task before What I mean? In many applications I can set date and time of the task. When I try to add more of them in the same day, I have to set time and date again. I would like to find an app works this way: I add first task at 8:00 with duration 2 hours. When I add a second task it will automatically set start time at 10:00 (because previous task starts at 8:00 and last 2 hours). e.g. when I remove the task at 8:00, then second one (and every task after) will change their start times -2 hours (the first task was set at 8:00, duration 2 hours, that's why -2 hours). Is there any application with feature like this? [link] [comments] |

Looking for a specific workout app Posted: 27 Jan 2021 02:17 AM PST I am looking for a workout app that will let me keep "variations" of saved workouts where the added exercises have different reps/weights. What I want to be able to do is keep two workout plans with the same exercises but have them save different weights and reps. Essentially, I want to be able to keep a high weight/low rep and a low weight/high rep version of the same workout without having the changes to a exercise in one of the workouts apply to the same exercise in the other workout. Do anyone know of any apps with this feature? [link] [comments] |
Deleting bulk Messenger messages Posted: 26 Jan 2021 04:59 PM PST I need to delete old messages on Facebook messenger (some photos etc), but doing so in the Messenger app or in web browser takes forever since each message must be deleted individually and with confirmation. Any suggestions of any all-in-one messaging apps or anything else that could make this process easier? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Any SMB2 Folder Sync App with nice UI? (Cloud) Posted: 27 Jan 2021 01:05 PM PST Hey guys, is there any Folder Sync App with a nice UI? (Material design or something like that). It should have the SMB2 Protocol to Sync folders to a NAS Server. I know that there are Syncthing or FolderSync but in my eyes the UI is a bit outdated (I know, I'm a design whore). Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |

Looking for a good, ad free, weather app Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:49 AM PST As per title, I'm quite willing to pay for it of course, I just refuse to use apps that have ads splattered all over them. [link] [comments] |
Authenticator that can be remotely paused when lost? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 11:34 AM PST Hi. In the case of my device being stolen, I d like to pause my authenticator. I tested Microsoft authenticator, they do not seem to have that functions? Best regards [link] [comments] |
App that keeps navigation bar visible in fullscreen apps? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:27 AM PST Hi, I'm looking for an app or a way to keep the Android navigation bar visible all the time, even when using fullscreen apps like Youtube (where it auto hides the nav bar and you have to swipe to get it to pop up). I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 with Android 10. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Finally released my new game, ESCAPER Posted: 27 Jan 2021 09:56 AM PST I wanted to make a mix between a platformer and escape room-games and this is what I came up with. The goal is to get out of the "room"/level before the time runs out and you get blown up Please try if you like these kind of games and leave a comment below, enjoy https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.perkodar.escaper [link] [comments] |
I have 20$ to spend on Google Play. Recommend me some apps with excellent UI ! Posted: 26 Jan 2021 11:50 PM PST Hi, I have some $ to spend on Google Play and I would like to support Android Devs. I really enjoyed apps with super great UI. I love apps from Sam Ruston (even bought them all) and from Third Culture Apps (note app called Ruff and weather app called Appy Weather). So yeah, that kind of UI, with great animations, beautiful colors, minimalist, etc. I don't want any games, only apps. So feel free to share with me your fetish app with those kind of UI I love. Posted: 27 Jan 2021 09:29 AM PST I used to be able to mass-text up to 100 people separately by copying and pasting the numbers separated with a semicolon. The app I was using updated and now I can't do it anymore. Is there another one anyone could recommend? [link] [comments] |
Help me find an old space Android game Posted: 27 Jan 2021 09:24 AM PST Looking for a game I played a few years ago. It's not on my app list for some reason. You play a giant capital ship (top down). You launch small mining ships to mine an asteroid... and launch fighters to protect against other fighters. That's about it. You upgrade your ship and fighters and it had a good campaign with about 2 dozen levels. Reminds me of Homeworld, but top down 2d view. I want to play this game again but I don't remember the name. anyone? [link] [comments] |
call (speak) with messaging app Posted: 27 Jan 2021 08:39 AM PST Most messaging apps have the ability to make calls where you can speak with your partner. Is there a comparison table that tells which app is doing it better and which app is not so good? thanks [link] [comments] |
Offline English - Hungarian dictionary app Posted: 27 Jan 2021 04:20 AM PST I made a free dictionary app that contains more than 300 thousand+ entries in English and Hungarian languages. This can be helpful for those who want to learn Hungarian and also good at English and vice-versa. The words and expressions are categorized by word-class and can be pronounced with the Google Text-to-speech tool. I know there are other dictionaries out there, but something misses from each of them, and I wanted to build a modern app with all the necessary features included. It needs a little polish indeed, and I appreciate any constructive criticism that can help me to make the app better. can a cloned app be linked with the original app if theyre both on same device? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:24 AM PST What I mean is, if you were using the same app twice on the same device [if you cloned the original app], could they be linked? [link] [comments] |
How can I find the play store categories of android apps installed on my phone? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:09 AM PST SIMPLE VERSION: I have 500 apps installed on my phone and I want to find which category they belong to according to the play store? For example, Nova Launcher falls in the Personalization category. (OPTIONAL) DETAILED EXPLANATION: I have nova launcher installed on my phone which has the option of making folders in the app drawer. I want to create folders according to play store categories and place the apps there accordingly. Now, I know I can go to the play store and look at various categories and check the listings to see which ones of them I have and do this but that would take a lot of time since I have ~500 applications. As in, I could go to the play store category Personalization and scroll to see which apps I have from that particular category and so on. How do I go about this in a manageable way? Looking for zeroconf/bonjour/avahi IM app Posted: 27 Jan 2021 06:25 AM PST With the homeschooling going on I'm looking for a good way to quickly share data between the devices (Android, Linux, perhaps Windows). On Linux I use pidgin with Bonjour. Which is great, because it doesn't rely on a third party, and I don't need to setup a server, and I need local network only. To my surprise I can not find, for the life of me, an android app that supports the Bonjour protocol! Do they exist? Does someone have an alternative solution? - I'm considering running a matrix or xmpp server. But I rather avoid that. [link] [comments] |
Best app for keeping track of my weight, bodyfat and steps? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 06:24 AM PST I've been using Samsung Health for 5 years now, always loved it. But the last rework of the interface is just horrible and the whole experience has gone to shit I have seen the Huawei app but i didn't like how it is (also I really don't feel comfortable giving physiological data) [link] [comments] |
Alternative to"webapps" application? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 05:48 AM PST There's a app called "webapps" I use for browsing my social media accounts. Great thing about it is blocking 3rd party domains manually and sandbox environment for every account. But I can't use it for pinterest to download pinterest photos. Is there any alternative to it?
