Why so many games gone from Google Play Store but not Apple App Store?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 03:23 PM PST

some Noodlecake games like Politaire, Sage Solitaire, and Spelltower are all gone but still in apple app store

Ridiculous Fishing is gone but still in app store (tried sideloading this one and it actually doesn't play nice with big screen, it's no longer updated apparently).

Slydris 2, the first one is one of my favorite, so I bought the 2nd one the moment it released only for the dev to pull it from Play Store, put in a shitty clone with stupidly generic name "Blocks", only for it to get pulled out again. The dev promised to re-release Slydris 2, but so far only the app store has it, the dev's other games are also only on app store so they're clearly prioritize apple.

    sorry for the rant

I feel like this is hurting people who want premium stuffs on android, but apps and games, either paid or free, can be puffed out of existence without seemingly any notice. You're lucky if you still have them installed.

can't really blame google if the dev themselves pull the apps/games though...

wish they make some way to really own the apps/games once you install them, maybe a library system similar to Steam.

Games with one IAP to unlock everything

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 11:35 AM PST

I recently found Retro Bowl, which requires one IAP to unlock the game for one dollar. I normally just browse through the premium games, but now I'm wondering what other games I missed. Any other high quality games you can unlock for one purchase? Thanks for any suggestions

Best hero collector games out there?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 07:16 PM PST

When it comes to mobile games, I prefer to keep it to hero collectors. What are your favorites? I've played a good amount of them (I think) and would love to know if there are any I missed.

For the record, I'm talking specifically hero collectors. Not a fan of gachas or idles. Both of those game types can die in a fire.

Out of the ones I tried my favorites ended up being:

Galaxy of Heroes, Marvel Strike Force, Dragon Champions and Age of Magic. SWGoH was my favorite for a while but CG, the developer has become far too greedy for my tastes. MSF is still my main with AoM threatening to take over that favorite spot. DC is fine. Fun game with a cutesy artstyle that doesn't take itself too seriously. If you like hero collectors and haven't tried Age of Magic yet, give it a shot for sure.

I also play Raid on the side but the gacha element is annoying. Another game I tried in closed beta testing was Awaken: Chaos Era. Also a gacha but much more f2p friendly. Gacha, idles and mobile mmorpgs just don't really interest me. But please let me know if there are any hero collectors I missed...that are also relatively new, maybe one or two years old at most.

Looking for a group game that doesn't need constant play

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 11:52 AM PST

Sorry title is a little vague but I don't know what the specific term is.

Basically my group of friends (4 of us total) were thinking we would love to find some games we could play together even though we are far apart from each other and it's hard to organise lots of times we're all busy with work/relationships/kids/family etc.

So what we are looking for is:

    • An engaging competitive game we can play remotely

    • That don't require us to be constantly present (something like words with friends for example), where we can each take turns when one of us has 5 minutes even if everyone else isn't available.

    • obviously we want something we can easily play on our phones that doesn't require any special equipment or whatever.

Any suggestions would be great! We're a competitive bunch - we used to play Hearts all the time and things always got intense haha!

    Thanks all

Games that are clones of pc games?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 03:05 AM PST

    Hey guys,

Recently I've came around Cooking Battle, that is pretty much a clone of overcooked for android and its amazing, that got me thinking, is there any other good games that are pretty much clones of pc games?

Some months ago I played area f2 (rainbow six siege clone) and I loved it, sadly it isn't available anymore.

Do you guys have more recommendations?

Looking for a game like Rank Insignia but without crazy expensive IAP

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 02:03 PM PST

    Hello,

I like Rank Insignia, but the IAP are ridiculous. almost $9 just to remove ads. And the ads are way too intrusive, watch an ad to double rewards for 10 mins, watch another to get extra bonus stuff, watch an add after every round etc.

The in game currency is too expensive too. The two upgrades that I would like to buy from the store would be almost $70. I am willing to spend a money, but not that much.

Does anyone know a brick breaker game where you can upgrade as you go similar to this?

What games do you miss playing?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2021 11:29 PM PST

There are a multitude of great games no longer available in the Playstore, which is a shame since they were premium tier games and none of the paywall/energy/p2w BS we now endlessly get these days. Shout-out to:

    • OG Shadowgun
    • Dead Space Mobile
    • Call of Duty Strike Team
    • Splinter Cell Conviction
    • Mass Effect Infiltrator
    • Blade Slinger
    • Dark Meadow the Pact
    • Chaos Rings 1&2

What games did you play back in the day?

Games with a gracefull fan service?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2021 02:25 PM PST

I am looking for games that have fan service and also decent gameplay.

Some are too much in the fan service department and others try to sell themself with gander ice only. So I am looking for a gracefull middle ground.

[REQUEST] A game with an infinite world.

    Posted: 01 Jan 2021 11:22 PM PST

I've been having a blast with No Man's Sky, and was wondering if there was a game on Android that fit these criteria:

    • Exploration-based
    • Infinite, procedurally generated world
    • Preferably multiplayer, or at least with some method of sharing discoveries.
    • Not many survival aspects, if any.

I just want a purely explorative game that I can play on the go.
