Xiaomi OnePlus6 Oxygen on a Redmi phone - excellent!!!

About perhaps 1-2 weeks I have seen that my Mi Band 5 now correctly identifies when I go to sleep, including my sleep breakdown such as duration of REM, Deep Sleep, Awake, etc. It's surprisingly accurate because at one day I was having lots of dreams and on Mi Fit there were several period of REMs.

Before this my Mi Band 5 and Mi Fit won't track my sleep accurately even though I put my phone next to me on my bed and sleeping normal hours. Sometimes it can track my nap but then no sleep data.

I do not now if this comes from the Mi Band 5 update or the Mi Fit but I'm glad it is now accurate. It even tracks my sleep when I slept on 7 PM or 1 AM, it now track my sleep more accurately.

Mi 10T - Problems with Rhythm Games

I recently bought a Mi 10T and although it's been an absolute delight to use, it has some severe lag and touch detection issues when playing rhythm games such as Project Sekai, Bang Dream and so on. I suspect it has something to do with the phone's adaptive refresh rate since my brother's Mi 9 doesn't have any problems when playing these games. Does anyone know if there's a fix I can try? I know I could try a custom ROM, but I'd like to explore simpler alternatives since that's the only thing bothering me.

Mi notifications and control center aren't translucent after updating to MIUI 12.0.5 (the rest of translucent effects work correctly) I did a factory reset to my device and it still happens.

Xiaomi mi 10t Snapchat videos freeze

It plays like one second of the video a friend will send then the rest is it frozen but the sound from the rest of the video playing any help guys :( I sent videos to myself and they play fully on Snapchat...

Mi9T Screen Water Damage

I dropped my Mi9T (non pro) in the water yesterday. Around 1/4 of it submerged in the water and I removed it immediately. The phone was working fine when I removed it so I just dried it externally and continued to use it (didn't turn it off). When I used the phone several hours later the screen started flickering and parts of the display had changed color. Everything still works including the touch screen although the search bar on YouTube, Browser etc is not responsive when the phone is vertical. The phone has been turned off since. I guess the actual screen requires replacing and not just the glass? Any chance the motherboard may need replacing or if it just requires drying out internally or does it look like the display damage is permanent? I have attached a photo of what the phone was like before switching it off.

can someone explain me how I can take macro pictures in Pro mode?

Ok, so I just got my 10 mi ultra and I was playing with macro shots. If i'm going to 'Photo' it has Macro option, right? I love it but I'm wondering how can I do the same thing in Pro mode? I want to take Macro pictures RAW.

Mi Gaming Laptop: Problem with fans

I have the Mi Gaming laptop 2nd generation (GTX 1060, i7 8750H) and I noticed that when I turn on the turbo fan mode, only one fan switch to turbo, the second one remains in the normal mode. BIOS XMGCF500P0604 and Mi Gaming Box 1.3.0.822 if that might be related.

Does anybody have the same problem or an idea, how to fix this?

Is it possible to have a start up chime on 8 lite under MIUI 12.03 stable with android q?

Hi People. I tried looking around first before messaging here, to no avail. I tried going in themes, going to my page, customise themes, apparently there was supposed to be a boot option, and I'm meant to be able to add a sound? Well... I don't see that here. Do I need a certain theme, is there an easier way of doing it, or is this something that's just not possible? I know many other android brands have them, but to be brutally honest, android isn't my daily driver, I wanted something reasonably cheap that runs recent android, hence the 8 lite. I'm not rooted, not on anything custom, and don't plan to be either. For one thing, I don't want to ruin my warranty, for another, I don't need any of the root or custom features. So yea, opened to suggestions and work arounds, if any? Thanks! :)

Messaging app bug

The messaging app is opening automatically whenever a message is received.I tried clearing cache and installing other versions of the app but that didn't help.This is my third time posting this issue and I'm pretty sure I can't be the only one who's facing it.This bug is really annoying and any help would be appreciated.

Bug on Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and I'm experiencing a bug or a glitch. My phone sometimes randomly switches to silent mode, then a few seconds later, it turnes off and the sounds are back to normal. It's a bit annoying when listening to music and I suddenly can't hear anything, or when the screen turnes on and turnes off because of this bug. Any of you knows the solution? Every help is highly appriciated.

Mi Note 10 Lite Custom ROM

I have been thinking about installing a Custom ROM on my Mi Note 10 Lite since day 1. But I am unsure whether that's a good decision considering this phone is my daily driver.

The biggest reasons for me to move away from MIUI are the occasional lags, having to disable Optimisations to install/update YT Vanced and the seemingly low frequency of updates (mine is still on MIUI 12.0.2 EEA with Security Patch October 2020).

Are Custom ROMs stable enough to run as a daily driver? And can I still use banking apps and apps that require GApps normally?

What about Xiaomi.EU compared to standard MIUI and other Custom ROMs? Any particular suggestions for Custom ROMs?

Sensitivity loss near screen edge? Mi 10 lite

So I bought a new phone last month and I downloaded TFT in it, however the reroll and buy xp buttons (which are in bottom right and left sides, respectively) don't always work, it is as if the screen sensitivity is reduced in this areas. Any suggestion on what it could be?
