What the heck should I spend all these Google Reward bux on? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 06:24 AM PST I've got about $20 in Google Opinion Rewards, but I don't know what to spend them on. I like doing light picture editing, but I've got free apps that work fine enough. I also like cutting together videos taken on my phone, but all the apps I've found are either free (and terrible) or subscription based, so I usually just export it all to my computer and do the editing there. In any case, I'm open to all suggestions. What paid apps (non-subscription) do you like and find useful or fun? [link] [comments] |
What not so famous Android apps you guys love? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 10:38 AM PST There are millions of apps right now, and I would like to know, what are those not so trending apps you guys love to use! Thanks [link] [comments] |
Alternatives to Gboard and Swiftkey? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 03:54 AM PST I really like gboard, it looks very nice and has lots of features. Problems is, no matter how high you set it, it's always way too low. It's so bad that im constantly making typos and decided to change to swiftkey. Swiftkey has a much higher keyboard, it has a space between the bottom of your screen and the keyboard. But what i really dont like about it is that predicition bar that you cant remove. So, does anyone know a good keyboard that looks similar to Gboard, but has a similar or costumizable height like Swiftkey? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Buggy Backup Pro free (normally $5.99) Posted: 01 Nov 2020 11:27 PM PST Buggy Backup Pro is for sale for free again on the Play Store. This is the best Android backup app for non rooted phones in my opinion and usually costs $5.99. I've posted about this when it was free in the past and a lot of people were interested (apart from the odd name), so since I saw it was free again, I figured it was worth posting. I am not related to this app in any way, other than being a user. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 03:04 AM PST So I'm kind of over ads. Have a Pixel 5 and Blokada doesn't seem to work on it now. What are the better ad blockers out there? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 11:17 AM PST Hi friends. I'm looking for an app launcher that would let you flip back and forth for "profiles." For instance have one display for "work" and one for "personal" for productive purposes. Is there anything like that? Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 08:38 AM PST I have a Xiaomi and it's stock editor is destroying the quality too much. I am looking for something that also has some basic filters and adjustments like contrast etc. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

Ctrl+F Paper notes and it highlights the text you've searched for Posted: 02 Nov 2020 12:35 PM PST So I'm looking for an app that you can search for keywords for online open book exams. I want to be able to search through my paper handwritten notes like I can search through a pdf and it highlights the text I'm looking for. I would obviously scan/take pictures of my notes. So far I've tried Evernote and that wasn't good because it doesn't highlight the text. I've tried using office lens to scan and then saving it to one note and this is better because it highlights the notes but it's not really working that we'll. Any suggestions for any apps are appreciated. Edit: the paper notes are handwritten not typed. [link] [comments] |

How to turn on speaker before dialing on Android 10? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 12:17 PM PST When I open the phone app, contacts open. I know the number already so I press the keypad icon and the keypad appears. There are no option buttons, but I want to turn on the speaker like I did in previous Android versions. When I enter the phone number, it connects and now I can't hear the beginning what is being said until I can get to the speaker button and toggle it on. How do I turn on the speaker before dialing? Looking for a more personality focused dating app. Posted: 02 Nov 2020 06:00 AM PST Most apps like Tinder, Bumble and OkCupid are heavily picture based and honestly this doesn't really work for me. I'm average looking and don't look confident even in professional photographs. I've been on these apps for months without success. I'm looking for something more personality based where I can talk about who I am rather than putting some hot beach shot. I don't know how these apps could work but it would be something interesting to try. [link] [comments] |

App suggestion for Content Writing Posted: 01 Nov 2020 11:06 PM PST Can you suggest me some good applications for content writing? I tried MS Word but I can't add caption under images in MS word mobile version. So,is there any good alternatives..? Thank in advance. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 10:53 AM PST Trying to transition away from SwiftKey because of privacy concerns, but there always seems to be something missing. What I need is something that offers mostly the same French AZERTY layout as SwiftKey, where I can disable emoji and voice-to-text buttons and most importantly, where I can have suggestions in multiple languages without switching back and forth and without having to use a different layout for each. I tried AnySoftKeyboard but couldn't find such an option. I don't use gestures, so not having them is irrelevant to me. Which keyboard would fit my needs best here? [link] [comments] |
Does Whatsapp reduce video quality? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 06:40 AM PST I wanted to test if whatsapp reduced video quality because it didn't seem like it did. I downloaded two files to see if there was a diference in file size, but the file size was the same. The first one was whatsapp and the second one was using wetransfer. I tried comparing the video's but didn't notice any difference. I'm probably doing something wrong because everyone on the internet says that there is a difference. Is there really any difference in video quality when using whatsapp? [link] [comments] |
Gboard doesn't download for me Posted: 02 Nov 2020 06:15 AM PST It downloaded before but then I instantly decided I didn't want it and deleted if. Now that I want it, it gives me a "Something went wrong" error. How can I fix it? [link] [comments] |
