I'm looking for a game I used to play

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 09:19 PM PST

It was a stress relief game where you throw stuff at a ragdoll guy and you could push him out the window eventually and you could change the scenery and what you were throwing at him and for the love of God I can't find it.

Supercell to shut down Hay Day Pop on February 1, 2021

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 11:43 AM PST

Another one bites the dust! Supercell is well known for producing premium mobile games but at the same time, it is also popular for murdering the projects that failed to satisfy their objectives. Hay Day Pop, a Puzzle game for mobile is coming to an end on February 1, 2021, with it being shut down permanently. The Official Twitter account of Supercell confirmed the news a few hours ago. However, the servers will be kept open and the game will remain playable until the end of January 2021, as highlighted in their official article. Supercell thanked the Hay Day players for playing the game and helping them improve it.

Supercell admitted that despite pushing continuous updates and making changes for Hay Day Pop, it failed to meet the standards they have set for them as well for the players. They have released a Final Update of Hay Day for the usual players and also mentioned that players can enjoy the game until they turn off the servers on Feb 1st, 2021. You can read more about the news here

    Couples Co-op Android Game Suggestions

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 10:28 PM PST

Looking to play something with my wife on Android.
She's not a gamer (yet), so basically nothing that requires much quick reactions or really much use of movement controls. She's had issue with basic 3D controls in the past and we ARE talking about mobile here.
She's into management, strategy, mystery, puzzle, and sim kind of gameplay. She likes planning and strategizing mostly.
She's also really into Marvel comics and some anime I can neither pronounce or have heard of, so she'd be down for whatever nerdy genre the game would fall into. She's also really into super boring adult stuff like spreadsheets and budgeting haha.
I am absolutely willing to buy a game and I would actually prefer a paid product since the F2P stuff is always such microtransaction hell and we cannot stand being assaulted by ads.

Ideally it would be something that we could play at different times throughout the day and accomplish different activities potentially so we could each fine our niche and get something out of it. Kind of like in an MMO where some people craft and other raid.

It doesn't have to be an overly complex game or anything. Hell, if House Flipper was on mobile and had multiplayer, we would definitely go get that right now. Same goes for Stardew Valley, but alas, the mobile version isn't multiplayer, which is extra lame.

We are currently playing Words with Friends 2 and its...a game haha. Its better than nothing, but is a boat load of annoying ads and isn't particularly fulfilling. We like we can just pick it up and play for a little bit throughout the day though. We have two small children, so its really hard to find dedicated gaming time like ever.

I feel like I'm reaching here and such a game doesn't exist, but I figured Id throw it out there.
Also willing to try something that's via Steam Remote Play, or Xbox Cloud Play. We have computers, we just rarely get a chance to sit down at them at the same time.

We also currently have 1 Nintendo Switch, so if there's a perfect Switch game out there, we might be inclined to get a Switch Lite.

    Let me know, thanks!

    Ps4 controller issues

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 09:14 PM PST

I am trying to use my ps4 controller on an app in my phone, the app has a mapping function EXCEPT it doesnt override the default button actions for the phone. So when i try to map O to the O in the app it exits out. Is there a way to remove the default button actions that work with the android so i can actually let the app map the buttons? I dont have anything to root with so thats not an option for me.

[request] best *artistic* games, offering a *real* experience?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 04:29 PM PST

    Hello!

I'm looking for games for the android. However, the thing is, I'm not that much of a gamer, and slashing monsters or shooting terrorists isn't really what I'm after.

I'm looking for games that really show games can be a form of art. I realize that all games do that to some extent - however I'm looking for titles that offers something truly unique or engaging on emotional or intelectual level.

That doesn't means I'm not interested in actual gameplay at all, because I am, however typical games, even titles like GTA5 or elder scrolls, just bore me really quickly because of the repetitiveness (even though I think those are really, really great games, it's just not my kind of entertainment).

Also, i played a lot in the past (enjoyed games back then a lot), so it's not like I'm a newcomer and need something easy and accessible.

I would assume games I'm looking for might be strongly focused on having a great story, but that's just an assumption.

Zombie games with high production value like genshin impact or call of duty mobile?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 10:35 AM PST

Looking for some high quality games to fill my note20 ultra with.. I got my gacha fix with genshin impact and my first person shooter is call of duty mobile. I haven't delved deep in the other genres of mobile so I'm wondering if there are any high quality zombie games that have:

-3D graphics with fun core gameplay loop

    -consistent high quality updates

-large player base (multiplayer a bonus not required)

-no generic base building or management systems
