    Vivid and Natural are not the only screen modes, there is more

    There is 5 screen modes in total:

    • 0 AMOLED cinema
    • 1 AMOLED Photo
    • 2 Basic
    • 3 Natural
    • 4 Vivid

    Go to Settings -> Display -> Screen mode and

    • Set the screen mode to Natural otherwise this trick won't work

    Connect your phone to adb on your PC and type

    • adb shell settings put system screen_mode_setting a number from 0 to 4

    example:

    • adb shell settings put system screen_mode_setting 0

    Last thing to do:

    • In order for the changes to update, open the settings, go to display and go to the Screen mode tab and go back, that's all enjoy

    I personally really like the Amoled Photo mode, it seems a good middle between Vivid and Natural. As for Basic, it seems to be almost if not the same as Natural

    Why does Samsung use the 3D Glasstic for their backplates ?

    I am a big fan of Samsung products. They make great devices and I really like their products. The one thing that seems to make me unhappy is the glasstic 3D backplate. It shines etc which I don't like.

    I would have preferred a simple plain finish. Anyways I am going to add a cover to the device so its a non-issue but I would have preferred a more matte simple finish.

    I am in the process of getting the A71 (the only major thing thats holding me back is the shiny rainbow backplate)

    Any idea what is the reason for the material choice? What is it made out of ?

    Google play store on galaxy tab 10.1 looks weird, how do I get a normal play store?

    I Updated my Galaxy note 9 and I need help with the current keyboard. Somehow when the screen is vertical, the letters of the keyboard are less thin and letters delete faster, when its horizontal, the bold letters turn to thin letters and it deletes letters slower.

    My first samsung tablet was a tab 3 lite, which was hell to use. It got so hot it could almost burn my hand. Yesterday, I got the tab a7 10.4 inch for $180, and it's really awesome.

    Samsung should incorporate their smart vac home maps into SmartThings

    This is an untapped opportunity to really make their smart vacs something special.

    With an automatically generated home map (which hopefully they would improve by allowing you more editing abilities to better make it actually match your home and not just the limited perspective that your vacuum has) they could allow you to create a map of all smart home devices connected to SmartThings, which would be fantastic for digital visualization.

    Also, with a map they could better produce their own line of BLE beacons that integrate with the map to give better phone location tracking than typical BLE beacons on their own, and they would be the first company offering BLE beacons set up specifically for this purpose in a competent and affordable way. This opens up the doors for a whole slew of highly personalized home automations.

    Using 5G service on foreign networks with American Galaxy Phones

    I hope it's appropriate to ask this here but I feel like people would have an answer here..

    I recently bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G in the States and brought it here to South Korea. I signed up for a carrier plan with unlimited data and supposedly also for the network's (SK Telecom) 5G service. However the 5G icon does not show on the upper right corner of my phone.

    If I recall correctly, the American Note 20 Ultras use a different band for 5G so it doesn't work on Korea's 5G networks? Is that right? Was hoping someone here can inform/educate me on this...

    Samsung Cloud

    Hi, so as I heard and read, Samsung Cloud is coming to an end and making the switch to OneDrive. They have mentioned that gallery sync and drive storage are ending

    my question is, does that include also the end of Samsung Pass, contacts on cloud, notes, Calendar, and such utilities other than gallery sync?

    What is meant by drive storage?

    Airpods2 problems via bluetooth on galaxy a51

    Hi! I have problems with airpods2 on galaxy a51 when a51 in the case. No matter what type of the case is weared i have cool original and thin silicon. Audio lags only in case. Its only when i listened music via spotify, music from locale storage. Voice calls, zoom and skype work well Aac to sbc didnt help resolve this problem A51 has a latest october update Any ideas? ._.

    How can i make my Note 20 Ultra better?

    Hello folks.

    Just moved to the Note 20 Ultra a week ago after being on iOS all my life.

    3 small queries that I have.

    1) One thing I seriously miss is the swipe left for Camera thing. I know there is a camera icon on the lock screen, but it isn't as quick as the swipe to cam option.

    Can someone guide me on how I can get that? If its possible that is.

    2) I a big fan of macro photography now, does the note have that option?

    3) my sister uses the GCam on her OnePlus 8 Pro, and the photos are way better than her stock camera application. Is it possible to get the same on the Note.

    Has anyone had any luck with Samsung Access?

    I recently decided I wanted to get into the Samsung world (Xiaomi user here), and I had the idea of using Samsung Access so I can always pay monthly for the latest phone at a decent price. I would prefer that over paying monthly because if i get the phone and keep it, i won't really know what to do with it once I get a new one.

    Unfortunately for me, however, I was immediately denied for a financing account although I have decent credit and no debts. I was just wondering if anyone was successful in getting Samsung Access, and what your thoughts are on it.
