New PC, Blue screens frequently Posted: 30 Oct 2020 06:17 PM PDT My PC is 2-3 months old and keeps blue screening. All parts are brand new and installed correctly. However, when I'm playing a video game it seems to blue screen at random, weather its a loading screen or during active gameplay. It always seem to display a message involving the word memory. I do not know if it is talking about my RAM sticks, or my VRAM on my graphics card. These are the specs: Motherboard - Gigabyte X570 Gaming X CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X GPU - EVGA RTX 2060 SC 6GB RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) The most common errors I receive are MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, if this helps. Please tell me if this could be a hardware or software issue. If its hardware, tell me what to replace during the Christmas sales. If its software, tell/send me videos on what I need to change/download/reinstall/update. Please and Thank You! P.S. I'm not too tech savvy so if you could simplify it that could be great! Posted: 30 Oct 2020 07:02 PM PDT So last week, my camera light activated out of nowhere when I was playing Minecraft in a Discord call, and had 8 tabs in Chrome which I forgot to exit some, this specifically happened when I Alt+tabbed because I had to search something in Google, but my screen froze and that was where my camera's light was on. I launched Windows Camera to see if another app or process is using my cam but Windows Camera displays the view properly. Now when I checked the logs, all that it said there was that Windows Camera was the only app that accessed my cam at that time. Now I'm sure that this is because of my drivers because nothing has happened recently, BitDefender doesn't log it, and my CPU and/or RAM usage was surely high, and when I did a system scan, there were no viruses. Also a week after this, which was on the same day AND TIME, a Thursday night, OneDrive seemed to use use the rest of my CPU, so is it really just my drivers that did this? [link] [comments] |
My desktop changes to unknown wallpapers that I never downloaded Posted: 30 Oct 2020 05:49 PM PDT So my pc has recently changed wallpapers to one of the ramones, another of a kid looking at the camnera, a japanese group band. All pictures that are low resolution and that I have never seen. I have not downloaded any suspicious file, so I do not know what it can be... :( If I change the mode to presentation, some time after they appear again and change it back to a solid photo.
