Screen Capture app that records the last few seconds of the screen? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 08:32 AM PDT Think of the various screen capture programs on PC like the Xbox Game Bar, Nvidia Shadowplay, etc. Does a program like this exist for Android. Should be useful for those who play games on their phones. I have a Samsung S20+, I dunno of their are some native Samsung apps for this. Thanks. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 28 Sep 2020 10:20 AM PDT Apologies if requested before, i want to use the bodybuilding.com forum section on my phone, going on the website and then to the forum section and moving through subforums and threads is a bit of a pain and clunky. wondered if there was an app that can handle this? I think there used to be one many moons ago but i cant think of the name tapatalk maybe? I want to log in or just be able to browse in a decent format without the agg. Thanks people. Posted: 28 Sep 2020 11:07 AM PDT Which is your favorite Podcast app? I am currently using Pocketcast. I purchased it when it was a premium app and liked it very much. But after it was purchased by NPR, they made many changes in it, both cosmetic and otherwise. It now has many bugs like audio goes away suddenly, app crashes, app doesn't close, etc. As such i am searching for a replacement. Is there any better podcast app than that? If yes, please recommend. Posted: 28 Sep 2020 09:18 AM PDT Hi! Basically I'm looking for a sms app that can be bound to a phone number. I have two numbers (private and work) and I want to be able to get work sms on the work number, and private on private. Is there a way to achieve that? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
AirMusic: Stream all audio to AirPlay, DLNA, SONOS, Google Cast, AllPlay, Fire TV, HEOS & Roku Posted: 28 Sep 2020 12:35 AM PDT Hey there, there's a new app called AirMusic that allows to stream the audio of any app (eg. Spotify, YT Music..) to your speakers. It's the successor of AirAudio which has been taken down by Google a while ago. Some apps (eg. YouTube, YT Music, Deezer, PocastAddict, radio.de, Plex and more, you have to try it out) can be streamed without root on Android 10+. On rooted devices, all audio can be transmitted, eg. Spotify, Apple Music etc. [link] [comments] |

Buzzkill like apps vs DnD with focus mode Posted: 28 Sep 2020 10:45 AM PDT What are you using to filter notifications and why? I'm using right now FiterBox because it has a trial period, didn't want to buy Buzzkill right away [link] [comments] |
need a replacement for google play music Posted: 28 Sep 2020 08:30 AM PDT I've been using google play music for years now with no issues, but they are now replacing it with youtube music, which doesn't do what I need. Basically, I have 2 playlists on itunes on my PC that I add songs too. Google play music used to automatically take new songs added to those playlists from my itunes and push them to my phone and add them to identical playlists. This allowed me to basically forget my phone and only focus on getting new songs on my computer. Youtube music makes me separately upload new songs, search for them 1 at a time (no recently added section) and add them to the playlist. I also can't edit song info, which is a deal breaker. I see a lot of Itunes syncing apps for Android, but they all have pretty bad ratings, so not sure what to get. Any suggestions appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Alternative to Beautiful Widgets Posted: 28 Sep 2020 01:24 AM PDT Hello all, Since my first android phone (Note 4) I'm using Beautiful Widgets to have a clock widget on my home screen that will also combine calendar, clock and weather information. Last update for Beautiful Widgets was back in May 2016! Now I'm looking for something similar. A widget app that will offer me the option to assign different apps when clicking on different places in the widget area. For example in Beautiful Widgets, if I click on the date I set it to open Google's Calendar, if I click on the hours number to open the stock android clock and if I click on the minutes number to open a 3rd party alarm app. Same with the weather. Is there something similar. What I liked on Beautiful Widgets is the fact that they were different widgets available with different themes to choose from, and you didn't have to build it completely from scratch. Thank you for your time! [link] [comments] |
Swift Key (beta) Voice to text turn off censoring? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 04:19 AM PDT Not sure if this is an app issue or something that happened when I updated my phone, but I do know the app has recently updated When ever I use voice to text, it censors profanity. I went and looked, my google voice setting hasnt changed and when I cruse with the assistant app nothing is censored. The voice to text in swiftkey is now different, doesnt look like the google one and I cant find a setting in swiftkey to change it back or turn off censoring. Any way to change this? Apps to control phone without touching it Posted: 28 Sep 2020 08:00 AM PDT Basically, my phone touch doesn't work in one part, so maybe I can have a app that like creates a pointer like pc mouse, that I can hover to that part, or a keyboard, or a Gamepad (there's a gamepad app but that isn't useful), or an app that lets me control this phone from another android phone (there's an app called serverless Bluetooth mouse, but it rarely works but yes that's what I want), or an app that would let me make apps float so I can just play the games I want in a small area, please lemme know if there are apps like that [link] [comments] |

Posted: 27 Sep 2020 06:38 PM PDT Recently I discovered this .Sems folder in My Files and there's just this png file of this sa_group_img_family_grid.png or something like that I would post a screenshot but apparently that's not allowed here. It's just a png picture of an icon minimalistic man woman and child standing together in a blue background. I've tried deleting it but it just reappears. What is it and is it malware? App that saves your notification history? Posted: 27 Sep 2020 08:34 PM PDT I currently use Notification Log by hciLab. It's working fine and it has no ads but my problem with it is it's so bare. There's no way to search, filter, and sort. I also know that there's a stock feature that saves your notification logs but it's also very bare and clears them when you turn off or restart your phone.
