It pulls stuff together so the settings aren't a maze of text menus. Honestly unless they take away the ability to use icon packs or slow down the phone too much, I don't see anything wrong with making the OS look a bit more mature. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Tmobile onplus 8 edition sim unlocking problems. Posted: 01 Sep 2020 02:18 PM PDT Have a tmobile edition oneplus 8, bought from ebay. Was told that it was unlocked, but not the case. Have contacted tmobile numerous times regarding unlocking... Dead end as I am not original purchaser from tmobile or oneplus. Have seen posts on XDA regarding unlocking service, seems to be moot at this point, as well as numerous ebay listings for this service at a steep $75. I get the device not authorized error in unlocking attempts. Most promising was messaging tmobile on FB messenger, they stated they escalated an unlocking request that should take 72 hours, but have heard this does not work either. Any other options I have? | My phone is acting extremely weird. Posted: 01 Sep 2020 08:05 AM PDT Hey guys. My 7T with 8GB RAM and 128 ROM has been acting really weird for a week or so now. The keyboard lags sometimes when I open an app, the home screen glitches out frequently and some apps are really buggy. I'm mainly just having problems with Instagram and Chrome. Elaborating on the keyboard point btw, it feels like there's a lot of input lag for like 2 seconds, and then all the characters I typed appear instantly. I use Gboard. How can I fix this? | OnePlus 7T Pro HDMI 60Hz adapters Posted: 01 Sep 2020 11:54 AM PDT I have a OnePlus 7T Pro and I am looking to expand its usage (my PC is acting up and I have a cloud rig I can connect to). I am looking to find a USB C cable/adapter that will allow me to have an output ideally at 60Hz on a 1440p monitor while also having the option to charge the device. I see a lot of adapters out there but some are saying they need a device compatible with "DP Alt mode" and I am unsure where to put the money to give me the best results. My googling has failed me this time so I turn to you lot. Can people recommended an adapter that they know works with the 7T Pro and will give me what I'm looking for? [link] [comments]  | ||

Do you think using my warranty will help this issue? I've tried resetting the network, clearing cache and nothing seems to work. | System Update Button Greyed Out on 10.5.6 Posted: 01 Sep 2020 11:24 AM PDT I have updated my Nord to the latest version 10.5.6 and been facing a wierd issue about the system update button. It seems to be greyed out completely after a random restart. I restarted the phone again, wiped cache from recovery and also tried to search in the forum for answers but couldnt find anything. Any help will be deeply appreciated as i dont want to go through a factory reset and setting up the phone all over again! PS: the only tweaks i have done is uninstalled facebook services using adb. | Question related to OnePlus service in India. Posted: 31 Aug 2020 11:22 PM PDT So my top speaker has been acting up these last couple of days as in I don't know for what reason, it becomes very shrill at higher volumes. I was thinking of getting my phone serviced once places open up but then I checked on the OnePlus website and they haven't mentioned any replacement parts pricing for top speaker. All they have is receiver pricing, which, if I am not wrong, is a separate module from the top speaker (?) So I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with speaker servicing for their OnePlus device. Would mean a lot to me if I could get some info. [link] [comments]  |
