    BSOD :(

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 08:57 AM PDT

Hey guys, I've been getting this Thread stuck in device driver error and I recently found a way of knowing what's causing the issue. The thing is, I am not that techy enough to actually use and understand the codes, etc Windbg provides (pardon my English as it isn't my first language).

You can find the bugcheck analysis here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t6aaXjYsXZWLH9rRwnFUBXa-MzkjPuVZNFxD1LQdmcM/edit

Can you help me figure out what's causing the issue? I would really appreciate any help :)

Internet goes out on PC when I turn my Smart TV on

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 04:53 PM PDT

Like title says, whenever I turn my smart tv on (which is in a different room), devices on my netgear range extender lose all connection. The TV isn't connected to the range extender as it is in usable range of the ISP provided router. My desktop PC is connected via ethernet (to the range extender) and has no wireless capabilities so ethernet is my only option there. Ive tried going into the command line on windows and doing "ipconfig /renew" and ipconfig /release" hoping it was a local IP issue with the computer having the same local IP as my TV. Everytime the PC loses connection, it force opens google chrome in a new tab to the site "msftconnect.com" (or something along the lines of that) and it redirects to MSN.com. Hoping it might be a DNS issue but I don't know how to go about changing that. Any help is much appreciated.

How can I get "toblog.itobsnssdk" to stop spamming my router?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 09:09 PM PDT

The spam is coming from my phone under that name and it just started happening recently. I don't recall going to any sites or apps that weren't considered safe so im not sure how it got there to begin with, but any help to get rid of it would be very appreciated!

COD: MW 2019 crashing on match startup.

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 08:14 PM PDT

Hey all, I have been playing COD: MW for quite some time and have gotten many hours on my account. During the summer I was able to play hours at a time, but recently an issue has been occurring. I'll spare you all the specs and yes, my PC can run it. I am on all the most recent drivers, I have scanned and repaired via Battle.net as well as reinstalled the game. I've run it in 'safe mode' per Battle.net and still had crashes. Usually, it'll go down like this. I select quick play -> match starts with the title on the bottom left and a thumbnail of the map -> freezes about right here, and crashes. If I am lucky I can play a whole match, only for it to crash on the end results screen. This has been bugging me since it's as if COD just chose to screw me over all of a sudden. After doing multiple steps and even the ones recommended by Blizzard, I cannot find a way around this issue. Thanks in advance.

After downloading Winrar I get this UTILILAB Protected Search how do I delete it after deleting the files PLEASE HELP IDK WHAT IM DOING

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 07:37 PM PDT

Hello everyone I am a gamer and don't know to much about viruses and and threats. I was trying to get Adobe Premiere Pro for free a while ago and the first step of doing that was to download winrar. This is a program that lets you extract files and what my friends were telling me was, that it wasn't a virus or anything it was 100% safe. A lot of gamers and content creators use the cracked versions of Premiere Pro so I thought why not give it a shot. butttt................ Here's the thing there was a ton of downloads from 32 to 64 bit English or Spanish and all sorts of stuff, also there was something about a search protector called UTILILAB I don't know what I did it was a long time ago but I got winrar and the protected search maybe there was another download that came with both or what but I got it.

Idk if this is a virus or Search Engine Hijack or what but when I went to scan and search using adwcleaner and malwarebytes and the adwcleaner cleaned that UTILILAB but........ when i go to control panel --> Uninstall a program. IT is still there and I cant delete it can anyone please help me maybe go in a discord call or whatever PLEASE HELP ME I went to scan and search using adwcleaner and malwarebytes and the adwcleaner cleaned that UTILILAB but........ when i go to control panel --> Uninstall a program. How to determine if my PC power supply can switch voltages automatically?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 07:33 PM PDT

Recently I've brought my power supply from another country which had 100 volts, but now I am in a country where we have 230 volts. I can't seem to find a voltage switch and I've seen some posts mentioning that some power supplies can switch voltages automatically. Is there a way to see if my power supply has the ability to do that?

    Thanks in advance.

Laptop stuck in vdeo_tdr_failure (atikmpag.sys) loop

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 06:38 PM PDT

    HP envy m6 notebook laptop

    Windows 8.1

    8192 mb ram

    Processor intel core i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20 GHZ-current speed 1200mhz

    Battery lithium-ion MO06062

    amd radeon hd 7600m series-driver version 13.251.9001.1001

intel (R) HD graphics 4000 -driver version 10.18.10.4276

When I turn on my laptop it shows the following message,

"Your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you If you'd like to know more you can search online for Video_tdr_failure (atikmpag.sys)"

then it restarts, then shows the message again etc. Its stuck in this loop.

I don't know if this is related or not but my amd graphics driver had crashed, then recovered on multiple occasions recently.

TLDR: laptop is stuck on a Video_tdr_failure (atikmpag.sys) loop, how do I fix this?
