| clock app being weird with custom alarms Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:27 PM PDT i'm trying to set a custom alarm through the clock app, i've put the music file in the right place, except every time i set it, it acts as if it's the default alarm, and it's DEFINITELY not that. is it a size limit thing (3:10 min, 4.6MB) or is my phone just being weird? process was downloading the music to my computer > transferring it to the phone w/ the android file transfer computer app > putting it directly in the alarms folder > attempting to set it in the clock app > it plays the default tone EDIT LIKE 2 MINUTES LATER: ok what the hell. a completely different song (4:19 4.1MB) is working PERFECTLY FINE but the original one isn't DOUBLE EDIT: i think this song is just cursed i've downloaded it 17 different ways (exaggerated for effect) and it keeps going back to the default but the other song, a damn siivagunner post, works just fine. the song is dreamcatcher's boca [link] [comments]  |

I go on their site and paste the tracking number in and click the button to track it, but instead of bringing me to the web page, it opens a tracking app I have installed called "Deliveries." How do I get this to stop happening, and have it bring me to the web page within the browser? I remember getting a popup that let me choose If I wanted to open the page with the browser or track it through the app and had two options "just once" or "always" before, but I don't know how to get that back. Things are great but I need to figure a couple of these issues out. Why do my pictures get compressed to hell on Instagram How do I share high quality pics and video? Right now I'm sending videos that look to be recorded by a front facing camera from a flip phone in 2010 Somehow I got my text message conversations to show on a really large print. I am seeing images in lower quality, which I am attributing to the display. It did however get me thinking, of videos on YouTube show up in lower quality in my smaller display phones will this also apply to photos I view and save online or reddit apps? [link] [comments]  |

I have not included anything Google because I dislike being tracked and sold. Is there any benefit from a privacy perspective to using Froid apps to replace email/calander/gallery etc which come with Lineage or is it more about aesthetic and additional function in replacements for stock Android apps? I am having issues with my new phone, I wetn from a Moto G6 Plus to a Samsung Note 10 Lite this friday and went through the proccess of cloning my apps from the old phone to the new phone. I used Samsung's Smart Switch app and most of my info went through flawlessly....except for the data in this one app I use to register all my finances. Basically it has the info of every purchase and deposit I've made/recieve since the last year. I thought the info would clone over with smart switch or get pulled from the app store if it was somehoe backed up in there. I tired unistalling the version that got cloned and re-install it from the Play store with no luck, the app just sets as if it was new. I still have the old phone with the info, is there a way I could get the info over the new phone? I am willing to reset the new phone if neccesary and transfer the info in any other way. Thanks for taking the time of reading my issue and sorry if my english looks weird. Here's mine >;( Posted: 29 Aug 2020 06:51 AM PDT Here's the last email I sent OnePlus after being ignored repeatedly, it explains the bs that I've been having to deal with over the past few months, I love OnePlus and their phones but after this experience, I'm going to go with another company. You can call me a Karen for writing this email or whatever, but it's been over a month only getting a response via email every 2 weeks or so, I had to purchase a burner phone to use because it's taking so long. I wrote this after being passed around and dropped by 5 associates on their chat feature, eventually after 4 hours being told I'd receive a response via email soon. When I first sent my phone out, the agent assured me if have it back within a week. Almost two months later and I have my phone back except without functioning cameras or a flash. Hello, No matter what I do I can't seem to get help, everyone keeps blaming me for something I didn't do. To the best of my knowledge the phone was never water damaged, it never showed signs of water damage, everything worked fine. I had an issue with dead pixels and screen burn in that, according to the agent, was covered under warranty. I sent my phone in and then 1-2 weeks later got an invoice for 280$ saying I had to pay for my screen repair because of water damage. I sent multiple emails over the next 2 weeks asking what the problem was. I know my phone has never been water damaged, or anywhere near water for that fact so I wanted clarification. I would have no problem paying 280$ if I had actually broken my phone, but this was not the case so I kept trying to reach someone on the support team so I could talk about the repair. No response so I let the automatic timer run out, because I thought to myself "I guess i'll have my phone back" (assuming it would have the same dead pixels and burn in) it comes back to me with a broken camera (something which was not even referenced in the invoice for damage) For Christ's sake I have a saved photo of the label from the day I shipped the phone out, and the metadata gives the time and place! I've tried resetting and clearing cache. I've tried factory rests and updates. I've been a long time OnePlus customer and I've spent over 5000$ with the company, my entire family has OnePlus phones. I feel as if I'm being exploited for money. My emails keep getting ignored and the service reps keep leaving me. I'm sick of being treated like this when I'm part of the "family" as you guys call it. I feel like I'm being scammed out of money. I hope we can resolve this, because I love OnePlus phones, but from what I've experienced over the past month the after sales support is atrocious. I've now had to buy a burner phone as this repair process has taken almost 2 months. Please help me here, I feel helpless and I shouldn't with how long I've been with OP Matt I'm incredibly angry to say the least, if any of you have ideas as to what I could do. If OnePlus doesn't take care of this I'll probably sell the phone or try to repair it myself. After this whole experience, I don't think I'll be choosing OnePlus next time I need to upgrade because this whole debockle has me super stressed. I have a lot of personal things going on in my life right now, everything is hectic and having a burner phone that freezes every 1.6 seconds isn't helpful. Edit: Spelling and stuff... | Deleted photo appearing as corrupted file Posted: 29 Aug 2020 03:20 PM PDT Hey guys. Recently, I've deleted all photos from one folder in my new phone. However, one of this photos stayed as a corrupted file. It won't appear on the gallery and I can't find it on "File management". But it appears as a blank space when I'm about to use Instagram or anything with photos. If I click it, it says the archive doesn't exist, but still appears. I managed to find out it was an .jpg and now has file size 0mb, so I think it's corrupted. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? [link] [comments]  |
