Be honest, does a safe Android emulator focused on gaming even exist?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 07:27 PM PDT

I know this has been asked countless times before, but Nox, BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Memu... Read about those in many posts similar to this one, but someone always comments "[X emulator] is known to come with [Y kind of malware]".

Every. single. time. they are right, after digging a bit, every single emulator has been proved to have been malicious at some point, so I don't know what to use anymore... The only "safe" emulators are super outdated.

I got really close when using scrcpy; I expected to be able to use the mouse as a... Well, a mouse with a cursor, but it only works as if it were a finger so I can't play like I wanted to. And I REALLY want to find a good emulator because I have a friend who's a bit lonely and depressed lately, and he loves Minecraft PE so I wanted to play it with him but my phone doesn't work well enough and I already bought the game.
To get back to the point, which emulator do you use? How did you deal with its malware (if it even had any)?

    [REQUEST] Zombie Cafe Alternative?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:38 PM PDT

    Hi folks,

There was/is an IOS game called Zombie Cafe in which you direct zombies to cook and prepare food, bus tables and occasionally raid other cafes. I'm wondering if y'all know of the best alternative for Android. As per the sub rules, I'll list some features I would like; • Not necessarily zombie related but nothing too anime heavy • Not super pay to play, I understand if some cosmetics are paid but the game should be playable for free (some ads are okay) • Preferably offline playable but isn't a must • Reasonable level of customisation. I don't want to be a robot just doing as I'm told the whole time

Those who have played zombie cafe will know more what I'm looking for but I hope I've summed it up. Thanks in advance

[Request] New game with multi/coop, skill, no auto battle

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 06:08 PM PDT

    Hey there!

I'm still looking for the next game I'll throw thousands of hours into. I'm currently playing more than I should on Clash Royale (been there for almost 4 years).

    Looking for:

    • Some meaningful coop/raid/vs : rich, allowing game advancement in some way. PVP or PVE.
    • Skill should matter : game knowledge, precision, unusual strategy...
    • Short game sessions : one of the core mods (is there are several) allows 3-7 minutes games / gaming sessions

    Don't want:

    • Grinding for hours: sure there usually is content to unlock, but don't want it to be core
    • FPS/Shooter : I'm not into that genre
    • Open world, usually incompatible with short gaming sessions
    • Auto play : if I want to watch my phone do things by himself, I'll use Netflix

I've tried a lot of games already, but I'm still open to exploring new things. What's your suggestion guys?

I need: 1. Sodoku w/ different modes or skins to choose from. I lile darlmpde but not always

    1. No need for me to open my keyboard. The numbers are already there as buttons to tap on.

Anyone using a gaming controller with 2.4 ghz dongle usb receiver on Android 10 ? Can you help about this?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 05:11 PM PDT

I can't use my wireless controller(Logitech f170) on Galaxy A70 android 10. This situation bothers me. Despite this, Logitech F310 (wired model) is working without problem via OTG cable. I guess Android 10 can't recognize usb reciever of F710. Can you use a gamepad with a usb receiver on your phone?

    Controller only game (Dev)

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 04:56 PM PDT

How would y'all feel about a game that requires a standard Xinput( Xbox or Hid compatible) controler.

The game I'm working on now only really works with a controller. My target market is definitely PC ( with Switch support later if possible), but I'd still love to release it for Android.

I keep getting ads for Rise of Kingdoms, is it any good?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 06:57 AM PDT

I keep seeing ads for it on YouTube and it looks like something I could enjoy, however I am worried not to get sucked in a microtransaction loop or just waste my time, has anybody played it, if yes, do you recommend it?

What are some games which support transferring saves between PC and Android.

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 03:25 AM PDT

I heard Stardew Valley had this option although I'm not in the mood to play that on mobile. Are there any games which I can play on PC/Android simultaneously. Like I play a few levels on PC copy the data to mobile using a USB cable and take my progress on the go and vice versa. This is the main reason I haven't tried playing anything substantial on Android like Dead Cells, Limbo etc or an RPG etc because I'd like to be able to play mainly on PC with an option to take it on the go. So far I've stuck to games like Hitman GO, Monument Valley and GTA San Andreas on Android which I'm okay with playing on mobile alone.
