Redmi Note 9 Bluetooth Call Problems

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 10:14 PM PDT

Hello I just bought a Redmi Note 9 and I'm using it in the USA, I love this phone very much, however I'm having problems making calls when connected to my car. It plays music and navigation just fine but whenever I make a call it will work for 20 seconds or so then disconnect from my car and reconnects and instantly disconnects and will keep doing this. Can someone please help me?

Is applying a tempered glass worth it after 1 year of usage?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 05:45 PM PDT

So i have my phone 3/4 or rather 4/5 of a year now and i have some micro scratches. Do you guys think its worth applying a screen protector now or is there no difference between scratches of 1 year of usage and maybe 2?

health app not working on a Redmi Note 9 Pro.

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:46 PM PDT

i know it's really not a major issue but I'd really like to fix this since I really find the health app useful and I'd like to know how to get it. when I look in the installed apps list I can see that there's an health app that doesn't appear among all the other apps I have. so if anyone knows how to fix this it'd be appreciated :)

Phone dies because of 0% charge and shows 24% when I plug it to the charger

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:16 PM PDT

So, a couple of days ago my phone died while using it because battery reached 0%. As soon as I plugged it in, it showed 24% charged. So I turned on the phone, used it again until 5% and let it charge overnight. Last night I intentionally let it die again just to be sure. And it showed 24% again when I plugged it in.

I'm using redmi note 5 (whyred) on miui 11.

Anyone else faced this issue? Should I be concerned?

Xiaomi mi 10 video sharing on whatsapp - disaster

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 01:55 PM PDT

So I have tried filiming in 1080p 30fps and 720p 30fps. Whatsapp freaks out when I try to share videos shot in either mode. It takes ages (like over half an hour to process a 1 minute video on an excellent internet connection) and then the video comes out all scrambled and audio out of sync.

The second I put the video through an editing app and recompress it, it works fine and uploads to whatsapp in a few second.

So what's up with whatsapp? Anyone know a fix that doesn't involve recompiling every single video I want to share?

    No audio on incoming calls.

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 06:58 PM PDT

A few weeks ago I got a black shark 3 and thus far it has been an amazing phone. But for the past two weeks I have been plauged by not having and call audio on incoming calls. I have observed that putting it on speaker and then back off enables call audio. I am wondering if anyone knows a fix for this issue. I am on the latest version of joyui and am using the default call app that shipped with the phone.

    Rebuild MIUI Gallery App Database?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 02:17 PM PDT

    Dear Xiaomi folks,

I have moved all folders from the gallery app from internal storage to the SD Card on my girlfriends redmi 8.

Now the gallery does not "Update" it's Database and shows the folders only with weird names or as broken links.

Is it possible to force the gallery to rebuild it's Database?

    Xiaomi Mi 9 Global Version

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 11:21 AM PDT

Hi every one hope you are doing well, so i got my Mi 9 about a year ago and saddly a few days ago i broke my screen so i had it replaced with my own money cuz the local shop would cover it with my garantie that i have for the phone, and after i got my phone back with the new screen i encounter some wierd glitching like the touch screen wont respond or act like crazy , i know it might be an issue by the store doing some bad work on my phone but i then thought if this is caused by a bug from the new MIUI or some new update? if anyone can help i would appreciate it ! just wanted to post here my issue before running to any more conclusions !

Should I get a redmi note 9s/9 pro?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 11:10 AM PDT

I need to replace my phone (xiaomi mi a1) cause it's totally unusable due to ghost touches on the screen, and what I've found in my country at a reasonable price and an upgrade of sorts are these two phones and motorola one fusion.

Now, specs wise I'm kinda going towards either xiaomi (they look about the same outside of camera, which isn't relevant to me), they are a bit more expensive but within my range.

But I don't know, I've seen issues about those phones, and having a xiaomi with a display that got yellow tints on spots, issues with the volume when using headphones (It keeps pulling the volume down to 0), and now these ghost touches, I'm kinda skeptical about xiaomi's quality control.

Although the yellow spots barely bother me, and I think the mic issues gets fixed with a 2 ring jack instead of a 3... it would still be nice to have a phone you can rely on without it getting kinks every day

Do people with these phones long time have found issues like that? Do you guys know if motorola is prone to stuff like this? Overall which phone would you get.

Thanks, choosing phones is so stressful to me lol so many variables to look for.

Upgrade RAM on Mi 13.3 Air?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 01:09 PM PDT

I have xiaomi notebook with 8gb ram. I check the Windows's settings, looks like there are two ram slots available, and could be upgraded up to 16gb. Now I have one ram plate 8gb.

But when I opened it, I could not find any ram slots available.

Does anyone have experience with that?

Miui 12 on note 8 pro is a big mess

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:52 AM PDT

Laggy animations, apps take alot of time to open, status bar icons are not visible sometimes, the gesture bar disappears sometimes while scrolling through apps. I did factory reset my phone more than once after the update and also tried downloading the update package again but still the same shit. I'd appreciate any help.

Mi Pad 2 Windows 10 to Android?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2020 03:45 PM PDT

Been offered a new Windows 10 MiPad 2 for around €80. I only want it for basic stuff. Can the Windows 10 be easily converted to Android? I suppose a version of Android from xiaomi.eu would be best.
