Samsung TV + Bose Speakers / Laptop Connection Posted: 01 Jul 2020 06:07 AM PDT Hi all, I hope to get some help. I have 2 questions:
TV Spec: Speaker Spec: I tried connecting the speakers with a Toslink Optical to mini toslink cable but the speakers are obviously not compatible. Will this DAC converter work with the cable I already have? [link] [comments]

It was just a regular patch update. Posted: 01 Jul 2020 02:50 AM PDT Hey guys it's me again, the guy with the android pie degrade update. So I think I missed one important detail of my last post. The patch was like 100mb, so I concluded it was quite unlikely that it was android pie. Also there was a recent June patch update for the Android A7. So I went and updated my phone. Its working fine now, with just like 1 or 2 new features added. Thanks for everyone's help :) [link] [comments]
I will not buy any Samsung product with forced ads..... Posted: 30 Jun 2020 07:07 PM PDT I loved my Note 5. It was an awesome phone and I never wanted to get rid of it. But the battery had gotten down to needing to be charged every 3 hours and I needed something that I could use for more than 3 hours away from an outlet. Since battery life was my main issue, I was tempted by the multi-day battery life of a cheap phone - the Moto G7 Power. The price was a lot less than a new Note and I figured that I had little to lose if it sucked, so I bought a Moto G7 Power to tide me over until the Note 20 came out. True enough, the battery life on the Moto G7 Power is simply awesome. I regularly go 3 to 5 days on a single charge. And that's without slowing down at all on my phone use or game playing. Problem is....the rest of the phone sucks. The camera sucks. The speed sucks at random times. And the speakers really suck. It even has this weird thing that almost mutes any notification or ringtone for the first 2 or 3 seconds. I still haven't figured that out. So I was eagerly awaiting the release of the Note 20. I needed 2 of them. But then I readthis article on Android Authority about ads in Samsung's One UI and now I don't want anything to do with a Samsung product at all if we are going to be force-fed ads in our most used apps like the Samsung phone app or Samsung's Health app or Samsung's Music app. How in the world can a company that has made such brilliant products make such a stupid, stupid move? I will always love my OneNote 5, but, until Samsung publicly reverses this horrible ad policy on phones that can cost up to $2,000.....it will be my last Samsung phone. Will you be buying a new Samsung phone if Samsung forces ads into your apps? [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Jul 2020 08:00 AM PDT Good day Just bought a Samsung LED 65" TV model TU7000 and this line appeared as soon as I turned the TV on. The TV was not hit, bent or had any physical damage at all. I would like to know if the line is because dead or stuck pixels that can be fixed with a video or is a panel or T con board or any other type of defect. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
Galaxy S9+ - Front Speak Question Posted: 01 Jul 2020 04:11 AM PDT So not used to the sound that they put into this model, previous phone was a Huawei P10 Lite and before that a Galaxy S5. I noticed the top speaker (part where you hear calls through) is very static sounding when playing Spotify/Youtube videos, but when doing a speaker test (*#0#) it seems to sound very clear. If I play youtube or spotify and block the bottom speaker, it's crackly sounding, almost like a speaker at max volume and if I cover the top part and press down a bit and leave the bottom open it sounds fine? Is this a known issue, google seems to all be about testing sound quality rather then issues with this speaker? Wondering if it's just a getting used to it thing or if it needs a clean/new part? [Galaxy Phone] Questiong on transferring to a new Samsung phone Posted: 01 Jul 2020 04:08 AM PDT Upgrading from the S9 to the S10 Lite. My phone has just arrived and I have so many apps to move over. So is the smart switch app the best way? Does it remember my settings too, and folder structure? My main question is in app data. So apps like google auth, and auths for blizzard and swtor, will they be remembered, or do I have to make backup keys for all these to log in again? Same with games? Cheers all [link] [comments] |
