    We NEED better device support!!!

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 04:46 AM PDT

Hey r/Samsung, I have been scrolling through reddit and I have seen quite a few posts about iphones (cause of wwdc) and lots of people are switching to iPhone because of the support for new versions of android. Even if Samsung just added an extra year or two I bet tons of people would switch to Samsung devices and be super happy. I own a Samsung device, but I know some of my friends would definitely consider it and I would recommend it to them if Samsung had better device support for even 1-2 more years. Upvote this post and maybe someone at Samsung will take note of this, since it would be awesome if they actually did something about the issue!

Thank God for Samsung software. My previous phone was a Stock Android Nokia phone, and it was boring af. So many missing features that I found it unacceptable in this day and age.

    Is Q60T a noticeable upgrade over NU7100?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 06:13 AM PDT

My NU7100 TV recently got knocked over and I'm trying to find a replacement under 600€ but options are pretty limited in Serbia. So far the best I've found for the price is Q60T (not R) the 43-inch model, and according to Rtings it's better in every category than my NU7100.

Yet I've seen people not recommend this model because it's edge-lit etc but the only affordable alternative with local dimming is something like Sony x900f. Now I didn't see FALD in person but I'm not really sold on the tech from the videos as it seems artificial and jarring with halo effects etc, but can't be sure as I can't check anywhere.

My main interest is that the TV is a solid improvement over the old one especially for contrast, uniformity, input lag, response time etc, as NU7100 had noticeable ghosting. TV will mainly be used for gaming, movies, and PC usage. Is Q60T a good choice for around 550€ or is XG9005 (the local alternative to x900f) worth an extra 100-150€ ?

Bought a galaxy A71 about a week ago but!!

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 04:24 AM PDT

I ordered the a71 about a week ago from a local e-commerce website and every think was good the phone works just fine but i was curious after watching a few unboxing videos on youtube because the phone already had a basic screen protector and there was no phone case inside the box even though the Samsung safety sticker was on and i was the one who cut it

Samsung Tab S6 as a home office device?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 07:52 AM PDT

    Hye guys,

So a few months ago I posted on here about jumping over to Samsung. With your help I did and I loved it so much I have gone off the deep end! I now own a Note 10+, a Samsung Smart TV, galaxy buds, galaxy watch, and now...the Tab s6. I really could not be happier with these products and the way they work together. All those wasted years with apple buying a million expensive adapters just to do basic things are over!

Anyway, I got the Tab S6 as a productivity device, and while I haven't used it as much as I wanted I recently discovered just how easy it is to plug into the tv and use it with DEX.

I just wanted to know, if anyone recommends any specific accessories I could get for the Tab s6 that would really complete the experience?

Such as the best wireless keyboard and mouse or the best USB C to HDMI adapter that will allow me to display it on my TV while also being able to charge. Preferably, one that minimizes input lag. (The one I used is an Older USB C hub for my non-Samsung laptop but it has quite a bit of lag on the tv, even with my laptop).

Also any other random accessories for the Tab S6 either for fun or for productivity you recommend.

    Thank you!

    Samsung Tv + g-sync, when ?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 07:47 AM PDT

    Hello guys!

As title says, any news about it? Heard long ago that Samsung Tv's finaly will have g-sync support, but havent heard any more about it!

I have an LG C9 OLED at home right now. But will send it back to the store. To much issues with it and I have the bad luck to also get g-sync flashing. So it's unplayable really. Even in movies there is flashing. And to top it off I seems to have pretty severe banding.

Really aweful to have this issues, as else the OLED picture blow me away, with perfect blacks and infinitive contrast is a sight to behold. Well besides that there is also stutter/judder :/

Seems like LCD still will be best for me in the end tho. None of these issues besides some blooming/backlight bleed, but thats expected.

Right now I have Sonys great X9005E FALD Tv. But really need VRR (g-sync) support and HDMI 2.1, so im future set.

So please guys, tell me that g-sync Is on the Way alright :)

And what Tv, do you recomend to get ?

Thank in andvance and have a great day :)

How comes only a tiny percentage of my live focus images get the "artistic" effect?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 03:52 AM PDT

The rest of the images only get blur, spin, zoom and colour point.
