| Emergency Alerts problem. 2 year old alerts show up along with new ones Posted: 01 Jun 2020 05:57 PM PDT Looking for a bit of tech help here. Ever since I got my LG V30 in summer 2018, whenever I receive an emergency alert (amber alert, disaster notifications, etc.), I get a stream of EVERY emergency alert ever sent to the phone since 2018. I hit "confirm" on all of them (like 40 notifications) every time; the whole time it's making noise and vibrating. Same thing is happening with my BF who also has a V30. Looking at the emergency alert settings in the Messaging app, the only settings are to turn certain notifications off completely. I can't find emergency alerts in any of my other settings menus. At this moment, in the US city where I live, curfews are being enforced daily and they change with very little warning, so I would like to receive the notifications, but I do not want to click off every single notification in my history, especially when we're receiving about 4 alerts a day right now. Also, not sure if this has anything to do with it, but my default messaging app is Google Messages, not the LG messaging app that came with the phone. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it! Been trying to find answers online, and it's been really difficult to find the right set of search terms. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 01 Jun 2020 01:09 PM PDT i woke up this morning to a nice message on my phone screen saying "Downloading, do not turn off target" on my S7 Edge; i read online that the way to fix it is to press the power button and volume down button (also read volume down, power and home button), however when i do this method, my phone screen goes black, and doesnt come back on for maybe 30-45 minutes before showing the "do not turn off target" message again.. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, a solution to fix it. im obviously stuck for technicians to go to due to the lockdown, so any help is appreciated [link] [comments]  |

| Facebook messenger app won't let me open YouTube links in the YouTube app. Posted: 01 Jun 2020 02:34 PM PDT As the title says. Whenever I receive a YouTube link in messenger it opens the video in messenger. I can click on an option to open it in the app but I would rather it open the app directly as soon as I click on the link. I have tried changing my Facebook settings in the Facebook app to links open externally. I have also tried changing my set to default settings on YouTube but it doesn't seem to work. Please help me :) Edit: Fixed it. I went into messenger app, settings, photos and media. Open links in default browser. Clicked the youtube link and a popup appeared choosing YouTube or chrome as just once or always. Don't know how to delete a reddit post on my phone though. Sorry [link] [comments]  |

Every screenshot, username, password, etc is saved directly to my clipboard until I remember to remove it. How is this even acceptable? How can I remove this "feature"? If I delete all apps, remove all files and folders, clear browsing history etc. will it be as if a factory reset? Regardless, i have a Samsung Tab E here and i cant for the life of me figure out how to get past the verification screen, and i cant get the account back. Every video i look up is from 2015 - I tried Odin, it keeps failing - theres no hidden exploit to remove the account that i know of. Im semi-tech savy but this makes me want to blow my brains out. The battery still says its at 0%, but its said that for 6 hours now, and it still lets me turn the phone on and get to the lock screen, which tells me its got more juice than it says. Also was in the recovery console for a long time with no reset. | Wacom Intuos Can't Reach Right Side of Screen Posted: 01 Jun 2020 06:47 PM PDT I have a Mediapad T3 10 non rooted running Android 7, and a Wacom Intuos wired graphics tablet connected with an OTG adapter. My cursor can only move around in the left and middle area of the screen in landscape mode, unable to reach the last 1/3 of the screen on the right. In portrait mode it reaches everywhere. I tested my Logitech G302 and the cursor reached everywhere on the screen in portrait and landscape. Does anyone know how to fix this? [link] [comments]  |

I tried to click on it to open it back up to full view and instead the full app view (video + suggested videos) was displayed in the mini-player, squished in to the aspect ratio. After that it became unresponsive and I had to uninstall the app to close it. Today I was watching a video and pressed my home button, and the video got stuck in a weird fullscreen where the left side of the 16:9 video was displayed on my phone vertically. I couldn't interact with it, or close it, the home button and app view button did nothing, and my phone was completely unusable until I restarted it. [link] [comments]  |
| How to download my photos from an app? Posted: 01 Jun 2020 12:12 PM PDT So I have Leafsnap, an app where you upload photos of plants and it tells you what species the plant is. There's a section in the app called "My plants", where my uploaded plant photos are stored, however I don't know how to download my photos back. You take the photos in the app, they do not get saved to gallery on my phone, and there appears to be no option to redownload my photos from the app once uploaded. For the last ~3 weeks, Youtube has been installing and reinstalling itself on my phone without permission. I'll disable it, force stop it, and prevent my apps from updating automatically and it still ends up in my list. I never watch Youtube on my phone so I don't want it. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way to stop it? I made a review on the app in the Google Store basically saying "STOP installing on my phone I DO NOT WANT YOU." [link] [comments]  |
