| Batery draining due to latest Miui 11 update for Redmi k20 Posted: 05 May 2020 10:23 PM PDT Battery draining like crazy after the latest miui 11 update 3-4 days back. Kept phone on 70% at night 11, in morning 7 o clock it was full drained and heated up. Tried 50% aad power saver was on at night 11, and full drained till 8 o clock morning. I tried reinstalling latest packages, clearing cache for all apps specially google play services. Device is heating even if I am not using it, provided internet and gps , bluetooth, sync all is turned off. Pls Suggest something clever and usefull. [link] [comments]  | ||

It's brutal having to search and redownload them from the Play Store over and over again. Is there and app that saves all my downloaded apps in a list or something like that, so when I boot up my phone I can just access said app and let it do the work for me? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Power button lock screen immediately Posted: 05 May 2020 04:51 PM PDT Guys, when I press power button my phone takes 5 seg to require password, if I press the button again, receive any notification or do some movement with the phone, anything that turn the screen on again before 5 seg, my phone still unlocked, I have to press the power button and wait 5 seg to get my phone locked again. I've heard about bad connection, little to no support and other such problems. So I wanted to hear your guy's experience using the Redmi Note 7 & Redmi Note 8 Pro. I am interested in these phones for various reasons, the Note 7 has more LTE bands compatible in the US and overall pretty good phone. | Can't get whatsapp to work! K30Pro Miui 12 Posted: 05 May 2020 07:57 PM PDT Here is my case... i have just gotten a K30Pro China Variant. I installed the MIUI 12. and then installing all other apps are no problem. when I came to the Whatsapp, I input the phone number of the sim card in the space where it is asking for phone number. then click next. then it is saying that Whatsapp will be verifying the phone number xxxxxxx, and if is ok... i clicked OK... and then nothing happens. have been stuck at this process for over a day! what went wrong? i have gone uninstall and then install again.. and then before inputing the phone number, I went to the permissions for the Whatsapp and then allow ALL of the scenarios. then went back to input phone number and try to verify.... nothing happens. I am now very super frustrated. Every thing works, but just that Whatsapp is not working. Hope that someone can share some ideas here. Please. [link] [comments]  | ||

With so many alarms it is difficult to keep track of when the next one will ring, I have to scroll one by one until I find it. I bought a Redmi 7 last year and it still works great for me, but I'm thinking of buying another phone as an alternate and for a few smaller reasons such as separating social media, personal messaging apps, and light games, workaround with media audio volume lowering during notifications, etc. Should I buy the Redmi Note 8 Pro or the Redmi Note 9S, or do I just wait for new releases from Xiaomi considering that the second-half of 2020 is nearing?
