    Just Stick to Your Mi's

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 07:12 AM PDT

    Hi all,

I wanted to go premium and switched from my beloved Mix 3 to an S20 Ultra.

So diasappointed so far. So regretful.

Miui is way so much better than OneUI no matter what anyone says.

Love your Mi's. Keep your Mi's. Do not hesitate. Don't give up on them.

    Best :)

    Auto brightness lowest level issue

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 04:19 PM PDT

I have a Mi 9 Lite running on MIUI 11.0.1.0 (QFCEUXM) Stable.

I have an issue with the 'Auto brightness' option. When I am in a completely dark room, the auto lowest level is actually high (as shown in the video).

And when I set the level manual and turn on the Auto brightness back, It increases the brightness again to that level.

I reported the issue via Feedback and get nothing.

Anyone facing the same issue or have any idea?

Can anyone help me to make a super short translation of the video?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 10:48 PM PDT

Hello! I want to buy a Xiaomi chair, but it doesn't have any reviews in the internet, I managed to find only one video but I don't speak Chinese. Maybe somebody could help me? I just need to know in two words if the reviewer happy with it, is it durable and comfortable?

Redmi note 7 high battery drain sometimes

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 10:20 PM PDT

Hello guys, so from a few days i've been noticing through an app called Ampere that my battery drain is high sometimes and sometimes its just fine. Sometimes my battery drains like 1% in 10-15mins and other times my battery drains like 2% in 3-4 mins with normal use with 20% brightness. Any solutions? Or is this normal for miui? I tried everything like disabling background processes and other stuff. Thanks!

Powerbank is expanding slightly, is this a threat?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 06:18 PM PDT

I purchased the 10000 mAh Mi Powerbank 2 (not sold anymore) back in 2018. Recently, I noticed that the powerbank is slightly expanding, and I can spin the powerbank on its own. I noticed the expanding of the powerbank when I put this powerbank side by side with my father's 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2S. Is this powerbank still safe to be use? Also, should I discharge it fully to be safe, or is it safer to stop using it?

Question about dual apps feature (MIUI 11.0.6)

Is there a way to use the dual apps feature but to make it so the cloned app has a different version than the original one?

    Opinion on Xiaomi phones?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 04:11 PM PDT

Hi folks and nice to meet you!

I was wondering if you can answer me a question. I currently use Huawei device and i am very happy about it, but since the future of Huawei is uncertain at this point i think of switching to another brand. I've recently found out about the monster flagship device Mi 10 Pro which on theory is a complete flagship for me, at least hardware-wise. Sorry, but I'm from Europe and Xiaomi isnt very famous here. So I have my doubts about three things: - The quality of parts used in the phone and its accessories. For example is the display prone to dead pixels, or is the battery prone to swelling? - The quality of the MIUI - are there bugs, how are the translations of the menus, is it on par with EMUI and OneUI? Also my Huawei has an app called Support which has options like diagnostics, warranty information, info about service centers in the country and this app has option called Maintenance mode which i can activate before i send my device for repair . Also i have app Optimizer which has built in antivirus and autoclean options. I expect many options and dedication for quality for this MIUI. After all the price is 1k euros. - Will I have problems with spare parts and warranty if my phone needs repair someday?

Thank you in advance good people

Anyway to remove the Mute button when taking a call, seem to be accidentally pressing it with my face

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 06:44 PM PDT

Phone: Redmi Note 8 Pro, MIUI Global 11.0.6

I checked at the proximity sensor seems to be working fine but just that sometimes when i move the phone a little when talking I seem to accidentally press the mute button. Is there a tool or something I can use to remove this button.

Previously i had this issue when using full screen gesture mode, where I might press the pin screen and then because its gesture mode, unable to remove it and needed to restart the phone and someone provided some app where i managed ti remove the pin screen button.

Wondering if the same can be done for the mute button during calls.

My Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is draining battery whilst being charged

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 12:05 PM PDT

Hi, I've had my Redmi Note 4 for I think 4-3 years now, and since yesterday it started draining battery, even when I was charging it (tried multiple chargers, it still was draining).

I The latest thread I saw on this issue was from 2018. It runs on the latest update, and I haven't got any apps installed except Instagram. Is anyone here with a simmilar problem and/or does know how to fix it?

Does the Baseus 65W GaN charger charge at the same speed as the included "Charge Turbo" brick on the Mi 10 Pro?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 05:12 PM PDT

I was testing both the Baseus 65W GaN fast charger and the 65W brick that came in the box with the Mi 10 Pro, and although they both support and use the PD 3.0 protocol, the charger that came in the box was the only one that made my Mi 10 Pro show "Charge TURBO" and give me decimal percentages during charging. The Baseus 65W GaN one would only show "Fast charging", however the rate of charging seemed to be the same - but I'm not sure. I want to know if they charge at the same speed or if the Charge Turbo charges faster... does anyone know?

MiFit app crashing whenever attempting to view workouts

    Posted: 23 Apr 2020 03:01 PM PDT

    Hello all,

Iva had a Amazfit Bip for almost a year now, and throughout that time I have used the MiFit app to keep track of all of my runs. Just starting today, whenever I try to view any of my workouts, the app crashes. I ran this morning, and the app worked fine then, allowing me to view in detail all my workouts, but this afternoon, it crashes every time.

I've tried rebooting my phone, clearing the app's cache, clearing the app's storage, reinstalling the app, unpairing and pairing again my Google account from the app, deleting my run from today in case the file had been corrupted, and factory resetting my Bip, yet nothing has worked or changed the issue at hand.

If anyone has any help or the same issue, please respond!

I have saved all of my running data from the past year, over 700 miles, in my MiFit account and I would really like a fix!

    Phone is the OnePlus 6t

    Thank you for reading!
