    When I first bought this phone it was buttery smooth, but now Chrome lags a lot

    When I scroll sometimes there's a noticeable stuttering.

    Is anybody else affected by this?

    Will Oxygen updater push the new stable build to those of us on the beta channel?

    I'm currently on beta 11 and saw a new stable build was released. Would I need to switch over to the stable channel to get it? Hopefully more clearly - will the newest release, regardless of stable/beta designation, get pushed to the beta channel?

    Recycle old phones?

    I have a bunch of old OnePlus phones that are still perfectly functional that I'd like to find uses for. Is it possible to turn an old phone into an SSH terminal to write code and compile code for Linux? Is it possible to use one as a pi-hole? Home VPN? Etc? Anything cool would be awesome.

    I'm really considering that I should root my phone. I don't know if is worth it to root because I like quite a lot to custom my ROM/OS. My question is: what's pros and cons to root my phone? And is safe to root? Like don't get my details hacked (bank, payment, my info, passwords etc...)

    OP6 software update failing at 99%

    I've been trying to update my OP6 for over a month now and every time I do it. It downloads fine and gets to 99% of the installation before failing. This was originally only for the OP6 O2 OBT5 update. Which was pushed to my by my device. However this didn't work so I downloaded the latest stable update from the OP website and attempted to locally install that but had the same issue.

    Does anyone else have this problem or know of a fix for this?

    Elgiganten, probably the largest electronics retailer in Denmark, published a campaign this morning: https://www.elgiganten.dk/cms/oneplus8/oneplus-8/

    It reveals that you can get the OnePlus 8 at 7 of Elgiganten's stores in Denmark on April 14 at 6 pm CEST - but only if you buy a "Golden Ticket" priced at 500 DKK (73 USD). A limited quantity of Golden Tickets are available on April 8 at 6 pm CEST.

    Elgiganten also reveals that the general availability of the OnePlus 8 in Denmark will be on April 21.

    Anyone else see the saturation in the camera app change by itself?

    I noticed this on my Oneplus 6T a while ago and finally got a good screen recording to show. Anyone else have this issue where the saturation changes on its own? This video was taken outside, the light was not changing. I know there is a software update available for my phone, but I don't want to install it. I have included a youtube link on this post. Android 9, Oxygen OS 9.0.16

    Bypass SIM unlock requirements?

    So, I paid off my 7T early a week or 2 ago and would like to get it SIM unlocked so I can then unlock the bootloader. Do I still have to adhere to the time requirement the phone has to be activated in the network? Also, I've read a few things about T-Mobile support on Twitter helping people; any truth to that?

    Which would be more bang for the buck? Seems like they might be in the similar price range and similar screen refresh as well.

    would the 7pro dropped enough to be worth? tbh i dont care much for the selfie camera so the motor shouldnt be a huge worry to me anyway

    OP7 Pro using wrong microphone on snapchat

    Hey,

    I've never really had an issue with the app prior to a few days ago when i noticed that there was almost no sound when i record videos on snapchat.

    It seems it's using the top mic instead of the bottom one.

    Did anyone ever encounter this and is there a possible solution maybe?
