Gameloft Classic Java Collection Posted: 24 Apr 2020 06:09 AM PDT Gameloft just released a classic collection with 30 of their older java games on the playstore. Absolutely free, no ads, no iap. And playing it made me realize how much I miss those games. They're simple and fun, nothing locked behind a paywall. You should really check it out if you played those games in the past. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftGLCL [link] [comments]
Why do so many android games have hidden downloads? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 09:26 AM PDT I downloaded Dragon Raja (great game btw) from Google Play and it download a bit then after that download was finished, it started downloading an additional file. And after that finished and I launched game, the game started to download updates even tho it's the most recent version on Google Play and after that was over, it started downloading resources And after that was over, it started downloading the rest of the assets. Why can't they make it so the Google Play download has everything included? Why do developers make us download extra files from their slow servers instead of the fast Google servers? [REQUEST]Management game like Anno or Tropico Posted: 24 Apr 2020 08:23 AM PDT Hi all. I'm looking for a simulation game like the Anno or Tropico series, where you have to handle stuff like economy, resources, happiness, etc. Requirements: Basically something where I build buildings that produce resources which increases the population which then creates new requirements and unlocks new buildings so you build them but they have maintenance costs so you can't go crazy building, etc. [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Apr 2020 10:45 AM PDT I like the offline aspect in particular. Something I can pick up, grind a bit, puzzle a bit, and craft something for an ultimate goal. Specifically, I'm looking for a game that has an ENDING. Replayability is nice, but not at all necessary. I don't care about ads playing occasionally. Free is nice, but anything up to $2 would be OK. Please help! [link] [comments]
[REQUEST] Help me Find a Good Game, Pointers Inside. Posted: 24 Apr 2020 10:19 AM PDT Hi there! I'm looking for some good games, the genre isn't super important, I'm genuinely just looking for exceptional games. The game must be completely free, cost money or have 100% ignoreable microtransactions. I do not in the slightest mind paying for a game, I in fact encourage it to support a rare developer that makes a great game and doesn't ruin it with in app purchases. So I repeat and clarify: The game should fit these categories:
An example for one of the best mobile games ever is Kingdom Rush; it costs money, and then has 100% ignoreable in app purchases even on the hardest settings. If you don't know what is considered 'ignoreable' don't recommend me the game. Games I have installed currently to give you an idea of what I like;
Recommend me a truly good game without the microtransactions cancer, genre isn't super important but I would like to try a nice ARPG (no anime), pirate/Viking game (sea to land not just ship combat, like Sea of Thieves) and a game like Age of Empires II PS2. Thank you very much!! Edit: I don't mind a few few IAPS if they're not predatory, like, buy this amulet and receive 10% extra gold from monsters and the price tag is like 1$. [link] [comments]
Games similar to shadowgun legends Posted: 24 Apr 2020 10:47 AM PDT Looking for a first person shooter game that focuses on killing bosses with friends , or single player that has a duel or team fights with looting system. The game feels like a ghost town sometimes so I'm looking for alternative s [link] [comments]
Help me find an online multiplayer strategic game. Posted: 24 Apr 2020 08:05 AM PDT I'd like the game to start from scratch everytime and not carry on progress like Clash of Clans/Clash Royale. The game should have different entities who can form alliances and have wars or backstab their friends. Basically something like Monopoly+Age of Empires would be perfect. Voice/Text chat is preferable. Thanks guys. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Apr 2020 12:35 PM PDT I am a couple days into bladexlord and wanted to share some initial thoughts on the game. For those unfamiliar, this is a new gacha / hero-collector JRPG developed by Applibot, published by Criware. It's worth noting that there are apparently some reputable JRPG developers at Applibot, supposedly people who worked on JRPG classics like Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger and Star Ocean. First things first, I feel like I should mention that this is a fairly typical gacha JRPG. I was half expecting something that might break the mold by adhering more to classic JRPG design principles, similar to Another Eden (a game which feels like a classic JRPG first, a gacha hero-collector second). Instead, this game leans more towards the gacha model with its emphasis on auto-combat, and collecting characters and weapons from gacha banners. If you don't like gacha games, this game probably won't be for you. That said, as far as gacha games go this one has a lot of strengths. First and foremost, the characters and story are very enjoyable, and I think the experience of the developers really shows. It's not so much about originality, but about presenting the typical JRPG/anime tropes in the best way possible. As I play through the story, I am finding a lot of the character interactions surprisingly gratifying. I think that's a function of well-written dialogue, as well as spot-on story pacing. It's also a function of character design and graphics. This game looks great, the characters are memorable, and the combat is visually satisfying - this last point is especially important in a game that leans hard on auto-combat, which would be awful if the combat wasn't even nice to look at. Speaking of combat, I would compare the mechanics to the Xenoblade series where you lock-on to your target and rotate around it while triggering your skills. So far, I have not found much of a reason to turn off the auto-combat, which is a bit worrying to me. To me, the best auto-combat mechanics still reward you for manual control, even requiring it for tricky fights. If the game is nothing but a slugfest where raw power wins, then it might be difficult to keep players engaged beyond playing through the story. That said, I am still only a few chapters in and still unlocking features, so this remains to be seen. I do appreciate the fact that this game seems to know what gacha players want in terms of quality-of-life. The re-roll process is probably the easiest I have ever seen, taking literally seconds to get your first pull and reset. Having an auto-repeat feature to grind quests is nice, and not something you tend to find at the launch of a gacha game. I also really like how the power-up features are nicely focused, not bombarding the player with too many menus and resources to keep track of at once. Really, you just have three things to upgrade: characters, weapons and accessories. Characters and weapons are very straightforward, accessories have a nice little twist which allows for deep customization without being convoluted. Coming from Seven Deadly Sins and FFBE War of the Visions, this simplicity is very refreshing. So far monetization seems OK, not great. As mentioned above, the re-roll process is extremely easy, players should have no trouble getting a top-tier character or two to start with if they are willing to put in some time. More concerning to me is that you have separate paid and free premium currencies, forcing players to spend money if they want to pull on certain banners. The prices aren't terrible, with $15 getting you a 10-pull and a guaranteed SSR unit or weapon. They also have a pity mechanic on the free-currency banners in the form of tokens you get from pulls that you can use to directly purchase characters or weapons. Still, I am worried about long-term viability for free players, especially if it becomes necessary later in the game to have a diverse roster of characters. The banners combine characters and weapons, which significantly lowers your odds of getting specific things you need to round out your account. Time will tell whether free players are able to keep up with power creep given these mechanics. So far, I gotta say I am excited to see where this game goes. I would put this on-par with Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross (arguably the best gacha at the moment), and definitely a cut above FFBE War of the Visions (has serious issues, in my opinion). Let me know what your own thoughts are - is this one you are going to try, or you think you might try to stick with? If you are gonna pass on it, why? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Apr 2020 08:43 AM PDT Not sure if this is the right place to inquire about this but i'm a huge fan of the titular game and it's an ios exclusive, (though recently I believe it's been left behind due to ios updates and you would need an earlier ios version to access it). I've since moved onto android and so my question is whether or not it's possible to port said game to android by some means, whether through emulator or some other nerd voodoo? Any help at all appreciated! [link] [comments] |
