Posted: 08 Feb 2020 08:21 AM PST Hey guys So I was searching for ways to get AoD on my Poco F1, and I came across this. Is it even a viable option, or is it just an elaborate scam? Also, is there any way to get the Moto Display thingy on my Poco F1 I scoured xda and couldn't find anything [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Feb 2020 09:17 PM PST Hello. My Redmi 4X (Android 7.1.2, MIUI 11 global) has old Marshmellow emojis while my Mi 4C (Android 7.0, MIUI 10 by xiaomi.eu) has all of the new Android 9/10 emojis and they show correctly. How and why? [link] [comments]

Dualshock 4 won't connect in the PS4 remote play app Posted: 08 Feb 2020 06:46 AM PST I updated my Xiaomi mi 9T to android 10. I wanted to connect my dualshock 4 in the PS4 remote play app, which is a android 10 feature, but it didn't work. Is this a bug or is that feature not implemented yet, Will this feature even be available and if it does when Will it be available? [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Feb 2020 01:21 PM PST Hi, I bought the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 tablet yesterday, now this may be an extreme noob question but how do I rearrange the folders that I have created? I can move the apps just fine but I cant figure out how to move the folders without deleting them, if thats even possible. [link] [comments]
USB file transfer not working properly (Mi A2 lite) Posted: 08 Feb 2020 05:06 PM PST Two months ago I bought a Mi A2 lite from an online dealer, who brought me some covers, but not the original USB cable that comes with the charger. Since day 1, the phone shows undesirable behavior when connected to my laptop: first, sometimes it behaves like it's set to charging only, despite I having the default option on developer options as "File transfer" (by default, Portuguese Android doesn't specify if such transfer is done by MTP or another method when the pop-up appears). After solving this and setting the phone to the correct USB option (mostly by selecting another option, then going back to file transfer), the phone most often loads the folders on the SD card properly, but after some time connected, either the folder on Windows Explorer stops responding (sometimes after periods as short as ten seconds) if I try to access a folder or transfer a file, forcing me to restart connection, or it starts showing any subsequent folder I access as empty (ie: if I am reading the Music folder and return to the SD card's root folder, it is displayed as intended, but if I try to access a subfolder of the Music folder, this folder will appear as an empty folder, despite having files). I already deinstalled and reinstalled USB drivers on my laptop several times and tried to tamper with the USB settings on my phone, but nothing I did had any success to solve this problem. Is this behaviour expected or an anomaly? In the second case, how can I solve it? I really find it extremely irritating to have to change the phone's USB connection settings or disabling/enabling the laptop's USB settings each five minutes because of this behaviour, which I had never ever experienced with any other mobile phone I ever had. For all of you using AOD and want it fixed to show icons from all apps, get Xiaomi.eu beta ROM. Posted: 08 Feb 2020 04:55 PM PST Just flashed the lastest xiaomi.eu beta ROM today, and found out that notifications from all apps now show on the AOD. No more glorified clock! I'm not sure when they fixed this, maybe even a couple months ago already. In addition to this, there's also dark theme for Security and other system app, option to turn on AOD with Battery saver on,... If I had known the stable ROM lagged behind this much in features and fixes, I would have flashed beta long ago. Currently running fine with no noticeable bugs (for me). You will have to unlock you bootloader though. Otherwise you can only wait for it to be implemented in the stable ROM. [link] [comments]
Best upgrade from Redmi Note 4 Posted: 08 Feb 2020 01:08 PM PST I'm looking for an upgrade for my Note 4 (2 years old now). Some features that I' d like to have are Usb-C and a decent battery (my current one barely holds 2 days). I don't play games and mostly use my phone for internet browsing, youtube and IM. 4G is also very often turned on. I'm looking at Mi 9T so I'm looking at something in that price range. Posted: 08 Feb 2020 10:26 AM PST Both phones are amazing performance wise. However LG rocks with it's screen and Mi9T has better cameras. I don't quite know what to choose. [link] [comments]
Xiaomi air purifier 3 filter replacement Posted: 08 Feb 2020 09:58 AM PST Hi, I'm looking into the Xiaomi air purifier 3. I can buy one from AliExpress or local shop. But I can't find any replacement filters. Do you have to buy the filters for the xiaomi air purifier 2? Do they have the same size? Kind regards [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Feb 2020 03:29 PM PST So after using it for one month as daily driver, I wanna sat my overall thoughts about it. Screen: Low ppi but AMOLED won't let you see that...only problem are blury screenshots, except that display is good for money OS: Great stock experience, still waiting for Android 10 tough... Camera: Great overall performance, good depth, great daylight photos, but problem is focus on close objects Night photos are fair for price.... Battery: Amazing...with heavy use I get almost day and half without any problema, very amazed with it Network and connection: WiFi signal is good but not that good when you are on low signal, so chip not very good quality, bluetooth and wifi at same that gets in trouble and Is not working properly Overall thoughts are positive...I'll continue to use this phone for another month for sure. Let's hope this cons will be solved with Software Updates... Any other users with experience? [link] [comments] |
