What are your opinions on the Motorola Action Camera? Posted: 08 Feb 2020 05:10 PM PST For those of you who don't know, the Action camera is a "feature" added onto a some Motorola phones that allows you to film ultrawide angle, horizontal video while holding the phone vertically. It was a cool idea and I think the Motorola One Action was a great way to show it off, but this feature has been coming to other devices recently such as the G8 Play, G8 Plus and the G Stylus. I personally really don't enjoy this because the Action camera is, believe it or not, video ONLY and its not like Motorola gave these phones standard ultrawide cams to shoot photos... It scares me to think that these might end up on the rumored flagship because I feel that would literally make it a DOA. What are your thoughts? Would you buy into this feature? My third day with Rog phone 2 ( Non Gamer feedback) Posted: 08 Feb 2020 01:10 PM PST My first impression with ROG 2 Size: this phone is 17 cm length, 7.7 cm width quite large phone, not very comfortable when I am wearing jeans, also its little heavy 240 Grams, so protection case and screen protection is highly recommended (score 6.5/10) Software: coming from Samsung note phone initially I was worried about the software of Asus Rog 2 because I heard bad things about Asus cellphones software optimization, however, when I started using this phone I was shocked with amount of care that was given to this phone's software everything is customizable, smooth and functional, basically you can adjust everything in this phone, Audio-wizard,Rgb,Camera, video, Games mode, battery care, Ram and storage care, Dual Sim functionality, hotspot, NFC , Theme, touch sensitivity, Air-triggers buttons, face recognition, screen refresh rate........ and the most important part No useless apps that Nobody use (ex Samsung softwares). software ( score 8/10) Camera: for me its more than enough very sharp and the colors very natural compared to other phones I owed, 4k 60FPS video is crystal clear and sharp very stable No complain at all front facing camera as good as my Huewie p30 phone , score ( 8.5/10) "DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BS!!! IN THE INTERNET" Screen: is excellent very high refresh rate and less than 4 milliseconds touch response makes this phone feels different very smooth and fluid, however, the pixel density in this phone is only 391 dpi compared to my note phone 512 dpi with same resolution is it noticeable in 6.59 inch screen?? yes, very slightly but only when you put the screen 10 cm from you face otherwise No one will notice, color accuracy in this phone is really impressive.... (score 9/10) Battery : when I received this phone I charged to 100% with 30W charger it took about 45 mins to reach 100%, after that I started the phone setup and configurations which include downloading apps, transferring contacts, messages, android updates, connecting it to my smartwatches, with 120hz screen refresh rate the battery last for 36 hours,, including 10 - 11 hours screen on, very impressive... (score 10/10).. #Note " battery cells building quality is more important than the battery size so the best assessment is after couple of months of daily use" Audio: ROG 2 dual speakers are very loud, audio quality is average and no bass at all. ( score 8.5/10) building quality and design : awesome design, a combination of metal and glass made this phone feels really rigid.. but I don't think it will survive any drop because of 240 grams weight the glass back so Case and screen protection is a must. (score 9/10) Performance – Most powerful device doesn't need a review, snapdragon 855+ with 12 Gb ram is a beast, also it features the fastest graphics chip in the Android world 10/10 is deserved. Network and WIFI : 4G is 24/7 here in Canada not a single issue with network bands (Fido), Rog 2 is a gaming phone so the WIFI speed is one of the highest 700mb/s [link] [comments] | ||
