Redmi Note 8 Pro - bootloop on recover or boot flash Posted: 06 Feb 2020 08:55 PM PST Hey, I'm hoping someone can help.
I looked into orange fox and some twrp troubleshooting and they said to let the phone battery drain then turn it on. Has anyone had any success with this? I left it bootlooping for 4 hrs and it only used about 8% battery. When I say bootlooped I only have access to fastboot and I don't get to the powered by android splash screen. I know this has a MTK chip so I'm only using official miui images when restoring recovery or boot. [link] [comments]
Anyone else find the on-screen fingerprint sensor on the Mi 9t absolutely awful? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 04:08 PM PST I was very excited to receive my Xiaomi Mi 9t this afternoon. Almost everything seems great about the phone, but I must say I am incredibly disappointed in the speed and accuracy of the fingerprint sensor. On average, I'm having to make 2-3 attempts each time just to get into my phone. I've tried removing fingerprints and redoing them multiple times. I'm not using a screen protector of any kind. Here's a gif of me attempting to get into my phone: https://imgur.com/gallery/j2rePjq Has anyone else had experiences like this? Or does it seem like this is a faulty unit? Thanks! It is impossible to search for specific apps Posted: 06 Feb 2020 06:30 PM PST Before I was able to search for specific apps when I swiped left and searched. Now it just does a Google search randomly and I cannot get how to make it search for apps again. It's the same issue with the app drawer. I swipe up and it is just a good search and I cannot find apps through this. Please help! I have a mi 9 se miui 11.0.6. Thank you [link] [comments]
Poor quality on Mi 9 lite rear camera Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:42 PM PST Hi reddit, I recently bought a Mi 9 lite for Christmas as a replacement for my MiA1 (died from extensive water damage), so far so good with this new phone but something that bothers me is the rear camera quality, most of the pictures look like watercolor paintings, specially when taken in artificial light or at the afternoon. I compared the front camera shooting a selfie and then at the same position (arm length) took a picture with the rear camera. Here are the images Front camera http://imgur.com/gallery/2ON3MNl Rear camera http://imgur.com/gallery/YUc8jIp You can see the lack of details in my face, see my right eyebrow in the rear camera looks like a drawing and in the front you can see even some individual "hairs". Another example of the rear camera, I took a picture of my grandpa at Christmas, and you can see in the lack of detail in his hat what I'm trying to show, it looks like a wet surface. http://imgur.com/gallery/PC5UqMj Is this normal? Do i have a defective phone? Im using the large setting in the rear camera and the 48 megapixels res so I don't know what causes the pictures to look so awful. I used with the rear camera the standard lens not the wide one. [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:34 PM PST Does anyone know why my phone still didn't update to Android 10? The official update was supposed to be released in November. It is currently February. [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:19 PM PST I'm still waiting for my update. I'm on MIUI 11.0.6.0 -- and the October security update. Is it unusual that I haven't had an update in such a long time? [link] [comments]

Sooooo for people who bought that in the US how did u charge your phone with the fast charger. should I find a converter thing on Amazon or.. you tell me I'm kinda stumped. [link] [comments]

Xiaomi launches its 65W Type-C Power Adapter: 27% smaller than previous generation Posted: 06 Feb 2020 08:59 AM PST
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 05:36 AM PST I don't know if this is a problem or not, but when I'm at minimjm brightness at night, some places are a little darker than the rest like on chrome using night mode. It's my first time with an amoled phone so I don't know what to worry about and what not to so please give some advice, tips and things to watch out. [link] [comments]
Anyone have a Mi 9T on Straight Talk? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 04:08 PM PST Debating between Mi 9t or Galaxy A51, using AT&T as the carrier. Everything seems to point to Mi 9t being better, but a little confused on if it will have any problems and if it would be worth the hassle. [link] [comments]
Help! Icons not uniform after last update (11.0.4 Global) Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:26 PM PST Hello, sadly, it seems that some icons aren't like others. Some are in the normal stock MIUI style, while others are square and disproportionate. Changing the theme doesn't help. [link] [comments]

My biggest annoyance about my mi9 lite solved itself! Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:33 PM PST The max volume on my mi wireless earbuds basic was way too low and it randomly was good. The disable absolute volume option in dev settings didn't work but it randomly fixed itself without an update. [link] [comments]
Redmi Note 7 Audio Settings doesn't work Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:21 PM PST So, as I said before, I have a problem with turning on Audio Settings. These options are disabled, and even if I connect with Airdots it doesn't change. Can someone help me? [link] [comments]
Build.prop from xiaomi.eu rom for the 9t Posted: 06 Feb 2020 12:45 PM PST Hi, Prime video only works when a whitelisted device is detected, some AOSP ROMs messes with the device name and I'm not able to play HD content, I've found that getting to delete unnecessary lines and name proper lines makes it work again. It would be great if you could! [link] [comments] |
