Posted: 04 Feb 2020 08:04 PM PST just like any other day, I plug my tv, turn it on, plug my dongle since its already connected to my tv hdmi, everything will follow normally, like logo will show and ill be directed to launcher like a phone does when you turn it on but no it didnt happen after the dongle logo showed it booted again to its logo (which is prestiz) and then showed a "dead android" and when you wait for a couple of minutes itll restart and boot again but same thing will happen,dead android. I want to try hard reset but this isnt a phone where you can press power +vol. i tried pressing the hidden button but it didnt work. | Google Voice Type Turns On and Off? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 07:44 PM PST I have a Galaxy J7 and cannot seem to get my microphone working correctly in text messages. Voice searching in a web browser works fine, but the problem begins on any other platform than that. In messages, I'll hear the "ding" notification that the microphone is active only to have it shut down and "ding" off immediately. Can anyone help me out? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 04 Feb 2020 06:23 PM PST Hi, I want to record something but because of where it is, I can't use the recording phone's screen as a viewfinder. I would like to do this if possible. On one phone I want to start recording video, with the LED on and on another phone I want to at least see what is on the screen of the recording phone. And as a bonus, can I have the recording phone's screen turned off while recording, so the battery lasts longer and also that I can't accidentally stop the recording just by handling the phone blindly ? thanks! Posted: 04 Feb 2020 05:18 PM PST I downloaded an apk for a game, and usually once it's downloaded I could find it in zarchiver, press 'open' and then it'll "stage the app" and the game will run and add an icon to the drawer. | Volume is funky as hell and hard to control Posted: 04 Feb 2020 05:31 PM PST I'm running an Essential phone with Android 10 build QQ1A.200105.032 (the latest one) and the February 5 security patch and I got some volume problems. When listening to music on Google Play Music the volume increases without the slider changing, until I launch any app that has sounds like YouTube or even Solitaire. It only happens with my wired Smokin' Buds Skullcandy headphones are plugged in, and going into one of the apps sets the volume to the expected level. It only ever increases and none of my Bluetooths do the same thing, any suggestions? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 04 Feb 2020 09:05 PM PST I get this notification every week it seems and when I click it I have to login to the secure folder then it just displays a Google screen just like the Google app. With no noticeable notification and I ain't even logged into the Google app. This is on a Samsung btw. Now, when I used to click play on those, it would automatically load up my youtube app and play from there, but now, google chrome is playing the videos from itself. How do i change it back? | Posted: 04 Feb 2020 12:37 PM PST Long story short, I got a text today to say that a package I ordered was being held in a distribution centre and for tracking I needed to follow this link, now to be fair I did actually order a package a while back and I had gotten a text from my legitimate post supplier an hour earlier to tell me it was out for delivery, so I, like a fool, assumed this must have just been an update and clicked the link which was shortened, it took me to a page where I pressed the 'track package' button and it took me to a 'somethingsomething.blogspot. page where I could press 'pay now' - at this point I was fully aware this could be a scam so I knew I wasn't going to give any sensitive data away, I pressed the pay button to see what it asked for, I was looking for something like paypal verification, it just asked for my address, email and contact number, so I closed all my applications, ran a task killer, did a full virus scan which said there was nothing suspicious and restarted my phone, is there any chance at all I'm in trouble? Apologies for what's probably a pretty basic question but I really need help, I would be happy to provide the actual link for anyone who wants it but obviously I'm not gonna put it here unless someonse specifically wants it to inspect the site themselves. At the startup of my phone I get two messages saying KEANEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENEFORCING (in a red color) and Set Warranty Bit : kernel (in a yellow color). Does anyone know what these messages mean if they are errors or not? My phone says that its not connected when i try to connect them but my laptop says they are connected. Ive reset both of them, ive never run into bluetooth connection problems before. | YouTube Screen Off Browser Desktop Mode Posted: 04 Feb 2020 03:11 AM PST Hallo. My phone is a Xiaomi Mi A2. I liked to hear youTube lectures with the screen off while I was doing any manual activity. I played YouTube in Google Chrome in Desktop mode and thus could hear the lecture with the screen off. I did something wrong (click where I should not) and today my phone lost the functionality. When I click on the video it does not open and the phone tries to open the link in Google Photos, but also does not open. Would there be some way to revert to the previous way that use to be working? | Help retrieving data off of a galaxy s7 Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:16 PM PST I have a galaxy s7 that i just broke the screen of, not like shattered but the display no longer works at all. The phone is locked and since the entire screen and display are not functioning I cannot access anything on the phone. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get anything off of there? I tried going through samsung cloud to see if maybe I could get my pictures off of there but it wants me to authenticate my account by using my phone which obviously I cannot do, and I cannot import anything via USB because the phone is locked. Tried using a MHL cable (5 pin micro usb to hdmi with usb for power) but that wouldn't work either. I also have Comcast (sucks) but wouldn't think that would matter. What am I missing. I was going to get a Chromcast, but thought if a MHL doesn't work nothing can. [link] [comments]  |
