    AKG N700NC M2 charging rant

    So I picked up a Note 10 to replace my wife's aging Note 8 (great phone still) and they come bundled with the AKG N700NC M2.

    Overall experience... well they're pretty good however I'm not sure if I can justify the $299 MSRP for the headphones alone since I am certain there are many other options with equal performance/quality for less. Which probably makes sense why Samsung is just practically giving them away with the S10 and Note 10.

    Now the only thing that is a minor annoyance is the USB-C charging... the headphones comes with a USB-C charging port and I'm like 'awesome' I can just re-use the same cable/brick I use to charge everything with.

    Well the charging only works with the supplied cable USB type A to USB-C (and I'm guessing the 5V USB spec). So far my PD bricks and laptops won't charge the headphones with the USB-C to USB-C cable I use to charge my phone and other accessories.

    It just becomes an additional cable to keep track of when my single USB-C to USB-C cable should be sufficient to handle everything - especially when more mobile devices in the industry are moving towards USB-C connectors.

    TLDR,

    USB-C to USB-C charging doesn't work on the AKG N700NC M2

    Does anyone have the same problem?

    Finally got a gear s2 and I like it. Its rotating bezel is awesome and the apps are nice too. For this watch face I used facer on the play store and companion on s2 galaxy store. After installing search supreme

    Fake high prices of Samsung phones

    Even though Samsung has launched their phones at really high prices, they aren't actually of that cost. Why ?

    $= New Zealand Dollar

    So launch price of s20 ultra 128gb is $ 2198 When you buy it on monthly installments you get $200 off the price, so now it's $1998

    You also get new galaxy buds - $329 Now its $1669

    You also get Asus wifi 6 router - $599

    Now its $1070 = 668 usd

    Why won't they just price it that.

    S20 Ultra or hold out for note 20?

    Been sitting on a s8+ for years now and was going to jump on the S20 Ultra over the note 10 plus but then I remembered they will likely come out with a note 20 in the next 6 months or so. Wager id essentially be waiting for a S pen and slightly larger screen for wayyy to much more money and that the S20 Ultra will suffice or is there a good chance the note will have sufficiently different / better features than the current 20 ultra models?

    Strange sound in the galaxy buds+?

    Occasionally when listening to music or a pod for example, the music is being replayed on top of the current playback for just about half a second or so.

    This didn't happen in the former galaxy buds.

    Is anyone also having issues such as this? I read that they were patching some white noise issue, but that's not what this is.

    Edit: I've tried reseting the buds, there has also been two updates to it from Samsung, neither which fixed the issue. Not sure what else to try. Other than returning them & getting a new pair.

    Edit2: The more I focus on it & listen to eha the issue sounds like, the more conclusions I come to.

    Now I'd like to explain it as the music has like a 0.1 second delay in either bud or something & thus causing it to sound like an echo/being played twice.

    Bixby button should have custom repurpose. I would love for it to be a flashlight button.

    An extra custom button could make screenshots easier. Could take a quick pic rather than just open the camera app quickly like we can now. We could use it to walkie talkie a close friend. Or play/stop button. Or hold it to record quick voice memo. Lots of possibilities.

    Does the “4GX” mean anything important? Is it a lesser/better version of the phone , it’s on sale atm and is cheaper than the standard S10+

    I'm buying a new phone, and i've heard of the A80 being overpriced. I got a friend working at phone retail store giving me the offer 332 dollar for the A80, saying it is used as a demo phone before.

    I have an Android head unit in my car . On my Huawei phone it auto connects and turning the volume up on the head unit to 12 is plenty loud

    On my Samsung phone it never auto connects ,I have to manually pair it often .and then turn my radio to max volume just to hear it

    I've watched countless videos on YouTube about developer options turning on or off absolute volume , media sync on or off and none of it makes a difference

    Ideas ?

    I should not have to turn Bluetooth devices to max volume just to hear them quietly it makes no sense

    S8+ update issues

    Hi! So last night my phone updated, and didn't boot back up to my lock screen. Instead, it gave me an error, with a choice to restart, reset app data, power off or view the code. None of these options fixed the problem, and whenever I restart it begins to update, finishes and then switches back to this screen, or if I hold the volume and power buttons, a screen with more options. A reboot system, factory reset, and several others. I do not want to reset everything, as I have 2.5 years worth of pictures and audio and now I can't access it from my computer because my phone isn't "connected" I can't use blue tooth, Your Phone, Google Drive, all of that doesn't have my pictures and videos. Any ideas on what to do?
