So I've been playing Death Road Canada with my son and we fired it up today to have a cupid joining the team. I love games that do holiday things. Terreria is another one that has holiday events.

Drift Worlds - 2 years of Android development finally released!

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 06:27 PM PST

    Hi all,

I have finally after 2 years of free time development released my game to the app store.

    Here it is!

    ---------------

    Drift Worlds

After years of solo development I am excited to finally say I have released my pride and joy, Drift Worlds. Drift Worlds is an arcade racer that meets real world graphics. It has aspects of both outrageous scenarios and real world physics. You will find yourself driving across desert plateau's, above the clouds across snowy tundras or deep in the depths of a volcano. There are plenty of levels that I will constantly be expanding on and with dozens of cars to choose from there will be plenty to work towards.

The Idea is simple. Enter a level and race against yourself or against the current record holder. You will work towards getting 5 stars for the level to unlock more and to earn more money. It also has real crash physics that will dint and damage your car the more you crash and fall.

This has been over 2 years in the making and I would really appreciate some feedback that I will do my best to take into account. Here is the game trailer with all in game footage and the Play Store link.

Title kinda sums it up. Ive played the heck out of both of these games and I hunger for more. I can't quite get into hearthstone for some reason.

    Games not opening since update?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 05:07 PM PST

So far I've noticed three games I had been playing up until yesterday no longer work after the recent OS update and was curious if anyone was having similar issues? Evolution, One deck dungeon and sheeping around all won't work at all.

[DEV] New BlackJack & Roguelike mashup out today

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 06:41 AM PST

Brought to you by Ponywolf, the Boise-based studio behind the Apple Game of the Day, Knights of the Card Table. RogueJack is a blend of old school dungeoning that utilizes Blackjack (a.k.a 21) as its battle system.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's a little passion project I've been working on for the past 6 months. It's free with ads that are hopefully not too annoying--$1.99 no ads buyout.

    Gameplay:

    Downloads:

    Feedback welcome!

[REQUEST] How are the "draw movements" type of games called? (and which ones do you recommend?)

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 07:32 AM PST

Some examples of this kinds of games are:

Door Kickers (i know about DK2)

    Planes Control, Airport Control

    Score Hero

And last time someone recommended STRAIN TACTICS before my post was deleted.

Id love for a similar game to Door Kickers, but really i just like the draw mechanic and for the life of me i dont know how its called...

Features you want: "Draw" on screen to trace your character, bullet, ball whatever trajectory/movement

    Genre: Any

    Paid or Free: Any

Single or Multiplayer: With at least some kind of Single Player aspect

    Playable Offline: Preferably

Viola and the Spirits of Tintrea (new Metroidvania)

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 10:02 AM PST

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maniacalspore.Viola&hl=en_US

I spent about an hour with it so far and I would say its worth it if you like Metroidvanias. Its pretty cheap as well. I did have some problems with platform jumping correctly but thats to be expected with on screen d pad controls unfortunately.

[REQUEST] Probably way too specific but who knows: portrait, turn-based, and more.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 05:22 PM PST

Looking for something I can play at work when I get a few minutes to spare.

    Must-Haves: Portrait, turn-based, long-lasting

Would Like But Not Strictly Necessary: Good graphics (kinda tired of pixel art everywhere), ability to play offline, RPG (or RPG-ish), one-handed (I care least about this)

I've already done the emulation thing, the card game thing (Night of the Full Moon, Meteorfall, Void Tyrant), the Dragon Quest thing, and a fair amount of idle games (Realm Grinder, Venture, Clicker Heroes, Egg Inc, Antimatter Dimensions, Tap Titans, blah blah blah). I'm aware that I'm probably asking too much, but people on this sub always manage to find the hidden gems, so here's hoping.

I'm okay with premium games and games that have IAPs for permanent, non-RNG unlocks/added content. I'd strongly prefer to stay away from gacha games, but if they're the only thing that'll satisfy what I'm looking for, then I'll deal with it and hope they're f2p-friendly (haha).

    [REQUEST] Tower defense games?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 09:50 AM PST

But theres gotta be a kick. I really like 7D2D on pc. I want to find a game on mobile that you have to collect resources and defend yourself or your base. Id prefer 2D, but 3D is good too.

[REQUEST] Games with large play areas

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 12:00 PM PST

I saw a video recently on YouTube that compared map sizes of various video games. This led me to wonder what android games have large world maps. Doesn't even have to be open world.

After many years of prototypes and half-finished games, I finally buckled down and actually finished one. Programmed Motivation is a tough 3D puzzle game with cute graphics and an easily skippable story about automation and revenge.

Is there a way to test compatibility of a game with a specific phone?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 10:55 AM PST

Hi there! I'm up for hardware upgrade and an looking at a Pixel 3. Is there some way to see if it is compatible with the new Disgaea Complete that released for Android? I know the specs should be fine, but I've read the game is finicky with support.

    [Request] Offline RPG with Progression

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 12:36 PM PST

Got a couple of very long flights ahead of me. Basically title, but a few games like what I am looking for are Doom & Destiny, Stardew, and Knights of Pen & Paper.
