I want to praise Samsung for making a long-serving phone. Posted: 01 Jan 2020 08:22 PM PST I have had my Samsung Galaxy core prime for around 4 or so years now. To me, thats a long time for a phone to run. It's very out of date (4.4) but I only use it for essentials. It was a budget phone when I bought it at $60 and is dirt cheap now because hardly anyone uses it still. It runs an old version of Reddit but runs discord and YouTube fine. It has been through many falls and tumbles, but suffered no cracks and almost unnoticable abrasions. While it may be old and lags, it does indeed do its job. I have loved this phone because it's the only one I have used and I'm upgrading soon, but I really appreciate the making of a reliable, durable, and long-lasting phone. It's great. I'm upgrading, but this phone was great for its time. Hasn't died yet, it's pulling through. And even though it was a cheap phone, it was a good phone. Thank you Samsung for great quality. Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:11 AM PST I'm looking at the Note 10+ on Best Buy and noticed it doesn't have band 71? Why is that? The non unlocked phones have band 71 These are the bands it does have: 12, 13, 18, 19, 2, 20, 26, 28, 3, 4, 48, 5, 66, 7, 8. Can anyone confirm if the unlocked phone has band 71? Powershare S10 with Galaxy Watch Active 2 Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:02 AM PST I just got a new Galaxy Watch Active 2. I tried to powershare with it but it only works with my case off. The powershare works with other phones though with my case on? Is this normal? Do any cases work with powershare with the watch? Thank you :) Happy new year. [link] [comments]

My s8 screen went green for days and now its fine? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 06:52 AM PST I have a galaxy s8 that I got 2 years ago, and it's been fine for the most part. I have a spot of dead pixels on the left edge of the screen and the screen is cracked, but it has worked just fine up until earlier this week. Monday night when I was scrolling fb, the entire screen just changed to a light green. I couldnt see anything on the display. I turned it off and then on again several times trying to see if that would fix it. It didnt. It then glitched back and forth to a faded out screen I could see some stuff, and a greened out screen. It slowly stopped glitching yesterday, and mostly had a green tint to it. And now it's fine? It looks normal and I'm not having any issues. Has anyone else had this happen or know what caused it? Bixby, Samsung Daily... WTH happened in last year? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 06:49 AM PST Good day! Previously Bixby was quite useless and couldn't do anything great as well as a Bixby Home department had nothing in it, except for generic news cards, which aren't even tailored to your location. Right now there are just selection of cards available to pic and you can't customize it in anyway. Literally nothing. And suddenly seems, that it is named Samsung Daily now, instead of Bixby home. So, could someone explain to me, what is wrong/ok with bixby right now and what is the plan of Samsung on it from non-rumour infos? Sidenote: I live in a country, where services not only for bixby, but also for most other major platform, excluding google, don't work properly (not enough support from 3rd companies to populate information so voice assistance is useful). Therefore only usage I have for bixby lately, is to turn on tv/flashlight/alarm. [link] [comments]
Swapping Phone Every Year VS Holding Off Until Current Phone Dies - Which is Recommended Price-Wise? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 06:42 AM PST Hi there, I need honest opinions from the floor regarding this. Should I keep my Galaxy Note 10+ for years or continue upgrading up the Note lineup every year? Which is more sensible price-wise, noting real-time depreciation and predicted 2 to 3 years average durability of Samsung phones, barring any physical damages (I do take good care of my phones, they are slapped with a protective case and a UV nano liquid full coverage tempered glass from day 1)? Thanks for your inputs! :D [link] [comments]

Anyone else's Note 10 Plus 5G rattle? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 05:36 AM PST Never noticed it before but if I shake it, towards the top near the camera there's a rattle. Edit: Official site says it's the lenses. [link] [comments] |
